This is generally a good time to keep some waiver wire powder dry and/or allocate bench space for certain players.

Obviously this applies primarily to leagues with shorter benches, but already you can see decent quality players being dropped and/or amenable to being traded by owners who haven't managed their bye week rosters very well. Some of these owners face even more pressure by having marginal W-L records or who have been sitting a long time on injured or underperforming players (e.g. Roddy White, J. Cutler, M. Colston).
