Oct 25 Lundy has been named the Texans starting running back by coach Gary Kubiak, according to HoustonTexans.com. "He'll be the guy this week and hopefully for a long time to come," Kubiak said.Advice: Lundy rushed for a career-high 93 yards on 19 carries and scored his first NFL touchdown in the Texans' 27-7 win over Jacksonville on Sunday. He also had two rushes of 10 yards or more in the win. He did not start the game as the featured running back, but was more effective than Samkon Gado, who had 27 yards on 10 rushes. Lundy was a preseason favorite to win the starting job for the Texans, but struggled in two September starts, gaining 57 yards on 17 carries.

Lundy should be a great start this weekend. Either as a BYE week filler or an option over a RB going up against a difficult DEF. TEN is allowing 164.5 yards rushing and 1.5TD's a game. 100yards and a score wouldnt be out of the question.

This is actually a pretty good point, and something worth considering.I am contemplating Lundy over Gore (who faces the Bears). The matchup is awful nice.
