I hear ya. The time value is really low. Diminished returns indeed. Makes me wonder if it is worth it anymore (playing this game over 20 years you get to a point where it may be time to call it a career).

All the credit goes to my FBG subscription and this board. I didn't do much work this year and didn't watch hardly any pro football other than Packer games.
We have a tradition of donating our winnings to charity, so our local humane society will be getting about $1,200 from me this year in recognition of me riding Vick to the championship.

Please note that my team is "scrappy." I missed last season due to military obligations so I had no keepers and the last rookie pick (teams can pick a rookie for $1.) Most teams have keepers at a discount price (RBs get a $14 raise each season they are kept) so it makes the auction (and league) challenging. The only projected "top" RBs that were available on draft day were Gore and SJax. They were both way out of my budget. ADP is an example of an RB who has never been in our auction draft, he is kept each year. We also use an auction method for FA pickups. I was pretty much out of money to make any moves at the end of the year. The strength of my lineup was supposed to be Grant, Bradshaw, A. Johnson, and R. Moss. What a crazy year for me to win a championship!
