I am thinking about dropping a WR for an additional RB.

Chris Ivory is available now, I was thinking about letting Dez Bryant go for him.

1. Do you think this is the right WR to let go?

2. Do you like Ivory as an option since my RB's are all beat up except for Torain--Who for some reason didn't play the

last 3 series of the game last night!

*I don't expect Ivory to have the same numbers every week but his match ups for next week vs the Browns looks good.

Our league moved to a salary cap league and I'm trying to figure out a reasonable cap strategy heading into next season. The keeper cap is $50 and the total cap is $100. Players rise in value by 20% every season. It's a PPR league. My team currently is (this season's values):

Tony Romo $12

Matt Ryan $7

Maurice Jones-Drew $30

Lesean McCoy $8

Marshawn Lynch $1

Benjarvis Green-Ellis $1

CJ Spiller $2 (rookies are $2 in year 1 then rise in value based on sportsline values the following year)

Larry Fitzgerald $15

Deion Branch $1

Bears D/ST $3

Basically though, I'm wondering about how to even approach a roster. I'm planning on cutting MJD at $36 for next season. I'm torn between Romo and Ryan. Definite keepers are Larry Fitz and McCoy and all of the $1 guys. Along with Spiller. So then I'll have $50 to spend on WRs and another RB. Should I not exceed $25 for a RB and $20 for a stud WR?

I would wait until the week you need a QB before worrying about it since it seems so much happens week to week. I would pick up one of the SD WRs .. not because I like them but because they have no one else and River will continue to throw a ton.

I would much prefer Romo to Ryan. Ryan is no better, fantasy-wise, than many QBs much cheaper

Thinking about grabbing KC this week, for their matchup at home v Jacksonville. They're a really poor road team, and it could be a great matchup.

I can drop either SFO or Cincy, and as of now plan on dropping San Fran.

However, here are other options:

Carolina, which hosts San Fran --- but teir QBs give the other team too many scoring opportunities

Tampa Bay, who is home to St Louis --- but Bradford looks really good

In terms of big picture theory, how would you build a roster with $50 to spend keepers and $100 total cap? Basically, the keeper cap allows me to keep a few guys under $15. I can then fill the roster with players in the auction.I'm trying to make a max value template at each position so I don't overspend. Basically can you help me create a budget? I need to create a budget that allows me to be competitive every year. We start 18 players and have $23 total. We start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs and 1 RB/WR FLEX, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DST. The backups can be any position.Here's my initial take. I think the vast majority should be spent on starters. Though I might need cap room as free agents are $5, although I think a better strategy is to not worry about free agents and if I need one, cut an underperforming/overvalued player from my roster.QB $15RB1 $30 (only if I can get a top RB) RB2 $15WR1 $15WR2 $5WR3 $1FLEX $5TE $3K $1DST $2 This totals $92 and would leave $1-2 per backup. If you are looking back on it now, look how many top backups would have been only $1-2. This is how it is every year. The idea is to spend good $ on a QB, RB1, and WR1, then avg $ on RB2/3 and WR2/3. You can get WR4+ and TE1 on the cheap.

I'm trying to pick up Fred Davis or Ben Watson in addition to getting Kolb with Hill going down. I think my biggest weakness is TE as Ward should step up with Big Ben back to fill my #3 WR hole. I went to the owner of Keller and Owen Daniels asking about Daniels, instead he sent me this offer:

I give up Jennings and Visciano and get Keller and Robert Meacham. I don't think I can do this trade as my WR core in a 3 WR league looks incredibly thin. His other WRs are Megatron, Collie, Walter, and Wallace. I'm not sure Walter would be enough to make the trade worthwhile. He already said he doesn't want to trade Daniels as he thinks his value will rise with him being healthy. Thoughts?

Here's the facts:

--12 team Non-PPR, all TDs are 7pts, standard yardage.

--Very limited league in regards to transactions. We're at the halfway point of the regular season and I have 4 left. I also have 4th position on the waiver list.

--You have to have 5 RBs and 6 WRs, no more no less.

--I also need to save at least 1 transaction for most of the season in case Hernandez gets dinged as my other TE is Finley, although I could trade.

My RBs = Best (bye this week), Bradshaw (bye next week), Barber, Sproles, Kuhn

My WRs = AJ (bye this week), Ocho, MWilliamsTB, Dez, Naanee (banged up), McCluster

FA RBs = Woodhead (RB only), Ivory, Betts

FA WRs = Meachem, Burleson (bye this week), DAlexander, Avant, Jenkins

I'm not all that comfortable starting Barber and Dez this week against the Giants. This seems like a good time to use a move or two with my waiver position. If Naanee is healthy, and Gates/Floyd are not, he has a good matchup....but that's alot of if's. I'd also rather not play guys coming off that type of injury right away. The Saints play at home against the Browns making Ivory (with Pierre out) and Meachem attractive, but they play the Steelers next week when Bradshaw is on bye (Barber plays Jags though). I also see Woodhead as a viable option this week and down the stretch. I like Burleson too, but he doesn't help me this week, and that's a move I could make right after waiver runs if nobody picks him up and I didn't get Meachem. Not sure I have enough info on Alexander.

I need to put the best lineup out there since I'm a game out of the division at 3-4....but I also am limited on moves so what I do needs to try to also have an eye on later in the year.

What would be your move(s) here? Or sit tight, roll with my Cowboys, maybe just making one move?

I would use one move for either Ivory or Meachem ... both playing well. I would dump Kuhn. Meachem is the better longterm move but Ivory this week. Then, I would sit Dez this week and start MB3

Desperately need your help. I am in a 10 team, .5 ppr league. All TD's are 6 pts. 1 pt per 10 yds. rushing/receiving. Defenses score alot of pts, for example my Tennessee defense scored me 25 pts. last week. 2-4 at this point in the season sitting in 9th place. I do have the 4th most pts. in the league however. We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR, 1 TE, 1K, 1 Def and 1 IDP Here is my lineup:

Dynasty PPR both D. Mason and D. Alexander are on the waiver wire and I plan to spend a high % of my bidding bucks on one of these guys, not too many players are usually available in this league. I'm ready to win now but I'm good at WR and Mason would be my 5-6th WR. Alexander would be a lottery ticket for the future since I'm good right now.

Which player would you make a priority?

Also do you think either are worth 80-90 % of blind bidding bucks as I still have most of mine left.

I like your group. Starks might be only one to consider dropping. I might take a chance on FJackson or Spiller

neither are worth that large of $$ .... I would risk Alexander over Mason if neither is a starter. Maybe 30%

I'd also rather not play guys coming off that type of injury right away. The Saints play at home against the Browns making Ivory (with Pierre out) and Meachem attractive, but they play the Steelers next week when Bradshaw is on bye (Barber plays Jags though). I also see Woodhead as a viable option this week and down the stretch. I like Burleson too, but he doesn't help me this week, and that's a move I could make right after waiver runs if nobody picks him up and I didn't get Meachem. Not sure I have enough info on Alexander.I need to put the best lineup out there since I'm a game out of the division at 3-4....but I also am limited on moves so what I do needs to try to also have an eye on later in the year.What would be your move(s) here? I would use one move for either Ivory or Meachem ... both playing well. I would dump Kuhn. Meachem is the better longterm move but Ivory this week. Then, I would sit Dez this week and start MB3

Thanks for the quick response.My waiver ran last night and my order was Ivory-Meachem-Woodhead. The #1 waiver claimed Ivory and I claimed Meachem at #4. I'm still debating making the move on Woodhead as he was not picked up. He certainly would be an upgrade to Kuhn, but I'm now down to 3 moves. If I picked him up and didn't start him this week I'm not sure that's worth it...but it could be.

What do you think about starting Cassel over Brady this week? KC gets to go against the Jags secondary, while Brady has to face the stingiest defense vs. QBs in the Chargers.

I have a strange need to start Orton, but Kolb's matchup looks nice to me. I feel like Denver may actually be able to run the ball pretty effectively this week, while Philly will throw all game long.

We get .5 for comps and only -.25 for incs, so a west coast passer like Kolb becomes quite valuable. Also, a bonus at 325 yards passing...

Thoughts?

I think I would go with Brady. Cassel is a great bye filler, but you have Brady. He is safer with similar upside

I would go with Orton, especially with DeSean Jackson out this week
