Cutler is fine. Painter and Jackson will not be bad options 17-22 fantasy points or more. I just would not trade for a QB that is no better than these off the waiver wire. I think TJax is a great start this week and Cutler not bad eitherThanks Jeff. So far I have not been able to swing the #2 deal above most likly because no word on Ingram's game status. Most likly can swing #3 deal above but you say that you'd rather play Cutler vs Philly over Palmer vs Denver.Other options that I can pick up as free agents off of the waivers are:1. Hey, I appreciate the hometown love, but feel Dez is worth more on his own than Brady. Not a huge Romo fan, but would stay put. Thank you! I'm not going to make the deal.I guess it is unrealistic to think he'll be as good or healthy for the next three seasons but his system is still solid and sometimes spectacular. I like Rivers more than Romo. Would look to sign Romo to 2 yrs, Rivers to 3yrs and Luck longterm. I've also got owners in my league telling me to do the deal because they think Bryant "will be the biggest disappointment WR ever." That's a direct quote. I don't agree and am starting to think I would be selling low on Bryant who would definitely be more of a hold in my mind. The way I'm viewing my team, I can keep Bryant for years as a #2 WR which would be good value.
Which QB do you like better in a dynasty league, Romo or Rivers? In this league they are both $15 so I could sign either to a long term deal. In theory I could have Rivers/Romo for 1-3 years and sign Luck to a very long term deal of 10 years (he would then be $15 per year which would be great value if he becomes very good).
Also overall, my strategy has been to sign QBs and WRs who are good, proven, young and cheap to long term deals. RBs which tend to be more expensive and get injured I sign to shorter term deals. Does that make sense to you?
Thanks!
I would go with Breaston against the very poor Miami secondary.'Fantasyfollow1 said:Simple sit/start question. Who do you start in the flex in a .5 ppr? R. Mendenhall vs. BAL or S. Breaston vs. MIA. I am having a very hard time trusting Mendenhall against Baltimore. He has not done much this year and against Baltimore I am really concerned. I have a very close matchup this week, and am afraid he could hang as few as 3 pts. on me.
dump tebow and felix for two starters.Jeff, My roster looks like the official injury report. I’m 6-2 and in first place and I don’t feel like like I should drop anyone that’s hurt or not hurt, which might leave me playing without a flex and/or a K.QB Manning, TebowRB Jacobs, Ogbannaya, out: McFadden, Bradshaw, Best, F. Jones, Morris.WR White, Manningham, out: A. JohnsonTE Graham, HernandezDef ChiefsKicker:none We get to start 1 qb,2 rb, 2 wr, 1 flx (rb,wr), 1 k, 1 D. Do I roll with no flex, no K? Should I drop Felix, Hernandez, or Tebow for an Early Doucet type flex or a Taiwan Jones? It is a PPR league so there are receivers out there that could hit the ten point mark. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
not a fan. he was RAW coming out of small school football and has an uphill challenge just to be startable.Jeff,What do you know about Barden?Hearing he may be activated for ny
i agree and would start bush over mendy this weekNon-ppr league, thinking of starting Reggie Bush @ KC over Mendenhall vs Balt. Is this crazy?
definitely Ogb this week over tate who should only have 10ish touches. I see Cassel with 200-225 yards and 2 tds against a bad secondaryHeya, Jeff~ You like Ogbonnaya over Tate this week, right?? Ogbonnaya will get the workload, but Tate has the sweeter matchup. How does Cassel do vs a shaky Miami pass D? Thanks for the input!
alexander is hurt so i would add ford. he saw extra looks this week. like taiwan more than the others listedJeff,Pettis,Ford, Gibson.V Brown .......are on the wire. How would you rank these? Ford gets upgrade with qb play, and the others due to team mates getting hurt. Thought Pettis looked quick. Who would be most steady consistent? And how bout K. Smith ?? Lions....Drop Alexander? and who else? Not looking like T. Jones may do much?
For your team, I like Ford then the IDPs. The TEs will not help you enough given you have Gronk.QB Brady, Fitzpatrick, RB Rice, Wells, Murray, Lynch, Ingram, Best, WR Nicks, AJ Green, Decker, Heyward-Bey, Crabtree, TE Gronlowski, LB Barnett, DL Seymour, Pierre-Paul, DB Chancellor, K Hanson and Akers .5 PPR start 1 RB, 1 Wr, 2 flex, 1 te. Best available players TE's Bullard, Fasano, Chandler. WR's Ford, D. Moore, Simpson, Gaffney,Cribbs, QB Moore, Kolb, LB Angerer, Harrison, Boley, DB Winfield. I know most are not starters but would like to add depth for playoffs. Seymour is an easy drop but what about Ingram, Heyward-Bey and 1 of my kickers? Would you drop any of them for the players that are available? My thoughts on who to target are in order, Ford, Bullard, Winfield, Angerer, Harrison, Boley, Chandler, Denarius Moore, Simpson, Gaffney, Cribbs, Fasano, Kolb, Matt Moore
You have a very good squad and luck sometimes happens. I think the first thing is to find the guys you want to hang onto, and trade the rest (of the stars) for upgrades. I would keep Stafford and Newton at QB, and use Kolb as trade bait. At RB, I would look to move Bradshaw and Wells. At WR, I would keep Smith, VJax and Nicks, putting Roddy on the block. Definitely keep the two best young TEs.This leaves Kolb, Bradshaw, Wells, and Roddy White to offer for a stud. I would then look at the rosters and try to spot a team with just one star (McCoy, Rice, Foster, etc) and offer them multiple starters for the stud. I would add Mendenhall if need be, but only if you get a great return for him. One of the best YOUNG up and coming RBs valued less than the studs But, I would freely give the other four listed.I need help...I'm seriously considering taking a break from FF considering how frustrating this season has been (and pretty much every season). Through some solid planning and trading execution coming into this year my dynasty team I thought was the greatest the world had ever seen. It's a dynasty PPR 12 team. Start QB/WR/WR/RB/RB/TE/FLEX/FLEX/K/DEF. The flex=wr/rb/teQB - Matt Stafford, Cam Newton, Kevin KolbRB - DMC, Ahmad Bradshaw, Rashard Mendenhall, Beanie Wells, Michael Bush, Ben TateWR - Steve Smith, Roddy White, Hakeem Nicks, Vincent Jackson, Lance Moore, Mark ClaytonTE - Jimmy Graham, Jermichael Finley, Ben WatsonK - Mason CrosbyDEF - DEF by committeeBelieve it or not I had Andre Johnson but was so frustrated with the injuries I moved him for Steve Smith and Draft picks. If you were picking this team you would need most all your picks in the first 4 rounds! After losing to a very so/so team this week full of wavier wire LUCK I'm going to be 5-4 and hoping to make the playoffs. Every week I have 3-4 excellent players on my bench and I'm hoping to find a way to do a 3 for 1 or 2 for 1 for one of the top 3 guys out there. McCoy, RRice, Foster, ADP, Forte....something like that. Because of my frustration I'm worried that I'm going to give up a huge deal to someone for one of these elite guys and end up making their team WAY better and only getting a modest bump in production from the one elite guys I get back. I'm not sure my exact question because I know what I want to do (2/3 for 1 upgrade) I just am just hoping to get a little insight on what you think a team like this should do.![]()

easily drop Bryant for either Janikowski or Hanson I would drop DHB/Edwards for Decker and L Robinson (while Austin out)Drop Baldwin for Helu (Helu is the WASH starter for now)Of the others, like Thomas now getting healthy. Ballard is playing very well. Decker, Helu, Robinson in that order if you have to order themI'm thinking about making a decent amount of moves. I'm thinking about unloading these guys1) Jon Baldwin - 3rd receiver and it looks like Breaston is stepping up2) DHB - Not a part of the offense it seems3) Braylon Edwards - Not being integrated as well as I hoped since Crabtree emerged4) Bengals D - Tough matchup next week5) Matt Bryant - Others available6) Daniel Thomas - Injuries and the emergence of Bush7) Jake Ballard- Might be upgradesThese guys are availableKicker - Janikowski, Jason HansonDefense - Jets, Bills, Bears, GiantsRB - Delone Carter, Donald Brown, Addai, Helu, RingerWR - Decker, Doucet, Gaffney, Breaston, Santonio Holmes, Laurent Robinson, Jacoby FordTE - Dustin Keller, Scott Chandler, Winslow, CelekLet me know which guys you think I should drop/pick up. Rivers this team is pretty much out of it at 1-8 and needs a lot of players so thinking he might trade Rivers for some younger players and I also have to 1st round picks next year. Thanks for all your help.Congrats on the great start. This team also has Cam Newton if I am reading right. I would offer Fitz, Sproles (or Ingram) Marshall for Cam, Charles and see if you can swing it. If not, add Carter or Gonzo (ask for Ballard back if so) ... Getting Charles for next year would be great. I like Cam best of the three QBs, and Vick/Brady about same.Another approach:Fitz/Sproles/Marshall for Cam (or other), Mike WilliamsGood luck10 team 10 player keeper league. standard scoring No PPR & every TD is 6 pts. 1 QB, 2RB's, 3 WR's, 1 Flex( RB, WR or TE)My team (9-0)QB's F. I was thinking something like Sporles and either Marshall or Nelson and Gonzalez for either QB, M. Williams and Ballard. Or would you just stay with what I have and continue playing Fitzpatrick as my QB.
