I need advice on these guys: Young,Watson,Wright,Rhodes who to keep for down the road. I have A. Peterson,S. jackson,Benson. my whole roster in Sig.

My Wr's are Wayne, Plax,S. Holmes, S. Moss, Henry,Northcutt who I picked up while dropping welker(darn) this week.

Curry is on the wire, and I'm just evaluating everything. I'm 6-0 after this week!

Should I try to move Young for T. Henry, and his owner also has C. Taylor, Lewis.

You have a good team. I have no idea when Young will get his chance or what the carries will look like. I think I might try to move him for Lewis (especially since you have wright). I see it as trying to make do until SJax comes back and you will have both he and Peterson in the backfield. This trade would let you play matchups with Lewis and Benson. I might drop Northcutt for Curry. With Plax and Wayne, you are wanting just one other to step up.Curry is serviceable and I would like him more than Northcutt. Henry should help you down the stretch,t oo.

Looking at my roster I have 3 starters including 2 running backs with a week 8 bye (Larry Johnson, Edgerrin James and Dwayne Bowe)

I'm trying to solve this problem by getting one of his RB's with a diff bye.

I'm definately a little skeptical because of RJ coming of an injury that even limited him this week. He says he doesn't want to trade Bush, Jordan, or Moss.

What do you think of the deal? I really want to try to upgrade my WR's but not sure how to implement a deal.

I know this may only slightly, if at all, upgrade my WR's but I don't see how I can get Moss also and I really see Welker as having a Huge week one week and an off week the next being the slot receiver, but I like Kevin Jones' potential a lot more than Green's.

I'm leaning heavily towards making this trade. It would give me a keeper in Marshall and another in possibly Witten. It would give me a solid 3rd WR. Also, Witten is scoring most consistent points than Owens and is Romo's safety net. My only qualms with the trade are that Owens could absolutely explode. However, here's how I see it:

I love Bowe over Leonard. Stallworth scares me in that he has been hurt almost every year and seems to bounce from team to team. Bowe looks to be a star in the making and should be a good keeper.In the first offer, if you take the 2nd, I would pass given the youth that Bowe brings. If you can keep TO (or Harrison) and Bowe, it seems to be a good balance of youth and production. Since Witten is considered a WR, his value is mitigated a little. He is valuable when you can start him at TE versus a team starting Chris Baker, etc.

At this point, I would not give James for Rudi, or even the counter. The counter has a lot of risk for my taste. Plaxico is playing so well, might as well ride the streak out. Personally, I do not like the second offer much either. You are giving the two most productive players.Ideas as to what I would do:

Offer Santana and Curry for Welker and Eric Johnson (to cover your bye at TE). This would allow you to start Plax and Welker that week. Your team is so deep that you can afford to try to acquire quality in exchange for quantity.

Offer Campbell (since you have three good QBs) or Hasselbeck and a WR like Santana or Curry for a WR upgrade. There should be plenty of teams starved at QB that you could get a decent receiver in the deal.

If nothing pans out, you can still start:

Roethlisberger

Addai, AGreen, Bennett

Plax, Curry or Santana

This is not too bad. You do have a good team so you can afford to trade some depth away for talent upgrades.

I'm trying to improve my #2 WR or my #2 RB. People are down on Benson but I think I value him more then most as I think he will continue to get better during the season. Benson gets 20 carries a game and Peterson is no threat to steal carries. Thomas Jones outside last week was been awful (and hence the reason I didn't start him last week). Green has been injured and has looked even less impressive then Jones and Benson. I like Galloway but he is probably more suited to be a #3 WR instead of the #2 that he has been. Holmes has been good but I think with Hines returning he will see his production drop. S Moss has been a huge disappointment obviously, but he has zero trade value and I'm not willing to release him because he would get picked up immediately. R White is nothing but a fill in.

What do you think I should focus on more: upgrading my #2 WR or #2 RB? Or should I sit and see what happens with Galloway/Holmes and Benson/Jones/Green?

I haven't made any trades since my coup earlier when I got B Edwards (after week 1). People in my league are reluctant to trade with me because I almost always end up getting the best of the deal.

I think I should look to move Young and Jones, but its tough since there value is at its lowest right now...I wouldnt mind getting rid of Young asap though because that situation is so sketchy and its a dynasty and he's at best a 1 year fix. Jones though could be a Top 15 back pretty easily.

Should I look to ship Moss or Ward for a high draft pick, or look to shore up my IDPs for a championship run?

I would worry more about RB2/3 than WR in a non-ppr league. Your WRs are good enough. I might look to pull off a 2-for-1 deal with the RBs, like TJones and Ahman for a RB upgrade

Hey, I am not great with IDPs, but will give it a go. First of all, I would hold Selvin and KJ for a little while. Selvin's value will take off soon enough and I would move him the week of the Henry suspension announcement. KJ is a stud, but injury-prone. You will have to give it a week or two to get good value from him. On the WRs, I think you have to keep Santana for now atleast until he does something. Ward might be in the same boat. You might have to give both of them this week to prove something so they would be attractive to other owners. But, with the age of Holt and TO, getting younger at WR is not a bad idea. Santana is still pretty young, just has not played well. I will ask someone I trust to answer the IDP side, so stay tuned.

Just my gut, as an Edwards dynasty owner, I think Losman starts again later this season. But, I do think it is Edwards' job long term and Losman will get an opportunity somewhere else in the future. If Rattay, Kerry Collins, and Vinny have opportunities, so should Losman.

I would worry more about RB2/3 than WR in a non-ppr league. Your WRs are good enough. I might look to pull off a 2-for-1 deal with the RBs, like TJones and Ahman for a RB upgrade

some suggestions would be Alexander, Rudi, MJ-Drew, Willis, or even Edge James. All of these guys might be undervalued enough to target. Look for a team that needs RB depth.

Hey, I am not great with IDPs, but will give it a go. First of all, I would hold Selvin and KJ for a little while. Selvin's value will take off soon enough and I would move him the week of the Henry suspension announcement. KJ is a stud, but injury-prone. You will have to give it a week or two to get good value from him. On the WRs, I think you have to keep Santana for now atleast until he does something. Ward might be in the same boat. You might have to give both of them this week to prove something so they would be attractive to other owners. But, with the age of Holt and TO, getting younger at WR is not a bad idea. Santana is still pretty young, just has not played well. I will ask someone I trust to answer the IDP side, so stay tuned.

I'll help with the IDP question. I think you should hold for now. You are pretty solid with your IDPs, plus, if something happens that you really need one, you have plenty to offer. But right now, you look solid for this year. DiGiorgio could put up top 10 LB numbers playing for Buffalo this year. He has little if any long term value, but this year he has a ton of value. Your other LBs are all solid. The only concerns you may have is the injury history of Sanders and Abraham. One good thing about IDPs is sometimes they come out of nowhere all through the year so there is a good chance you can get one off of waivers. Your overall IDP depth is solid. I would definitely hold the WRs. I may trade Selvin for an elite IDP, but not until he starts. I would also hold KJ.

Thanks. No way on deal number two. On deal one, I would probably not do it unless you can swap Williams for one of his top RBs, then start Jennings at WR. But, if you were looking at how to tweak that deal, I would look at something like:KJ and Cotchery or Marshall. I like Calvin, but am afraid he will not be too startable this season. KJ offer the most upside of those RBs. You could use a RB, but I would want a good deal. I just do not think Calvin helps you much over Jennings. That is why I would look at Cotch or Marshall.

I would lean towards Watson, just not to get in the middle of the NE guessing game. But, if you feel Maroney will be out, Faulk is a decent option. I say Watson because Rudi is to be limited or out. Double check both Cincy and NE news before making a move.

I think you have to use KJ for one of the backs. Lynch or Henry is a close one. But, I would definitely consider Watson over either. Rudi is doubtful last I saw. I like Henry, but the Pitt defense is stout, especially if they do not have to worry about Walker. Lynch against the Balt defense is a tough matchup. Watson, with the weak Jet defense, is a good matchup.

To be honest, Santana will never start for you, imo, and WRs can be had if need be. You never know when you might need the extra QB

I like Kitna, but see Kevin Jones coming back as a sign of more conservative play calling. As bad as it is for Kitna, it has been worse for Roy Williams owners. I think that the Lions will throw it 30 times or less going forward. But, maybe this will keep Kitna healthy.On Campbell, they are a conservative offense.Kitna is the better option going forward, but there will be games like this. I do see Kitna finishing as a top 10 QB, just not top 5 like many thought early on.

My question is: who should I keep and look to trade right now? I'm thinking that 2 for 1 deals are the best since I have a lot of depth.

RB: Steven Jackson $12, Lawrence Maroney $7, Ronnie Brown $13, Marshawn Lynch $9, Michael Turner $5, LenDale White $7, Jonathan Stewart $5, Darren McFadden $5

WR: Steve Smith $15, Larry Fitzgerald $10, Roy Williams $11, Calvin Johnson $6, Lee Evans $9

TE: Antonio Gates $12

Kicker and Defense are now irrelevant because they are too expensive to keep. Currently I am thinking of keeping Palmer, SJax, Maroney, Lynch, Turner, White, Steward, McFadden, Steve Smith, Fitzgerald, Roy Williams, Calvin Johnson and Antonio Gates. But that is a total of $133 so I'll have to trim even further. This means the following guys are trade bait:

Ronnie Brown, Lee Evans, Garrard, and 1 other player. But then next year I'll have to trim another $15 off, and another $10 after that. Can you help me with a plan here because I don't want to have a firesale? Maybe I should offer some owners a 3 for 1 deal where I get a much better player?

I know this is a lot of information, but the league just decided to change things and it affects my team dramatically. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

The good news is you have a good team. The guy that jumps out to me is White. I just do not think he is worth that price. I might look to move he and Brown and Evans for the best WR you can afford given cap space. Most likely, Garrard is not worth much next season as the Jags will look to upgrade the position. Given how cheap Maroney and Lynch are, you have to keep them and I would keep SJax and the WRs given how young they are. So, the guys that look like they are expendable, imo:White (especially since some will see him as cheap)RBrownEvansGarrardGiven the depth of your team, I might even see if you can move these players for a top develpomental pic since those RBs are only $5. The good news is you have a great team stacked full of good players.

in a redraft, I love it for you. The reasoning is that braylon gets TDs and Maroney should be back at full strength in a couple of weeks. SA has not looked good to me and I thnk I would risk it on Maroney. Edwards seems to score TDs fairly easily. Also, Marvin is not healthy. It was obvious last night.

Hey, I would pass. I mean this literally. Peterson has as much value to many as LT. Your WRs are good enough that you do not need Fitz. In PPR, I am one that thinks Fitz is overrated anyway. WRs like Welker and Coles are much cheaper and outproducing Fitz by a ton. Hope this helps.

Arrington, Reggie Williams and BMW. I have given up on all three. Mewelde would be fourth.

Thanks for the good advice. I probably forgot to mention the most important thing... I can pull back 1 player from the draft for every one of the guys I have dropped when those players are selected. It works like an expansion draft. So I'd lose at most half of these players listed previously. This might change your thoughts about making a 3 for 1 deal now.And the plot thickens... I could get Larry Johnson for Ronnie Brown, LenDale White, Larry Fitzgerald and Lee Evans. Given that I can only protect one of these guys (Larry Fitzgerald) does this trade make sense? Remember I could technically keep half these guys by pulling back players after others have been drafted. I already have the top developmental pick for next year via one of my earlier trades so I can't take any more of those.Or do I just ride it out for this year because I'm giving up too much value and with my depth I should win the league this year?
