wannabee Strategy Thread (5 Viewers)

Hi Jeff,

I am currently 1-6 in this league and would like any advice you might offer up. It is a 12 team keeper league (3 total, one per posiiton) with 4 pt passing and 6 pt rushing TD's, 1pt/10yds rushing/receiving and 1pt/20 yards passing. Top 8 teams make the playoffs. I am currently 11th.

My Roster:

QB - Vince Young, Warner

RB - LT, LJ, Brandon Jacobs, DeShaun Foster, Kenton Keith

WR - Fitzgerald, Lee Evans, Santana Moss, Brandon Marshall, Roddy White

TE - Todd Heap, Tony Scheffler

PK - Stephen Gostkowski

Def - Giants

Roster size is limited to 5 RB's and 5 WR's.

I do have a few trade offers on the table:

LJ, Marshall for Steve Smith and D. Williams.

and

LJ, VY, Foster for Romo, Jamal Lewis, Jason Wright.

Do I need to play every fantasy game like it is a playoff game? What other advice do you have for me? In the power rankings, I am middle of the pack and have hit on some very matchups so far.

Hey Greg,It stinks having a good team and losing games. The only holes on your team I can see are WR2/3 and QB. What are your chances, in your opinion, of catching the 8th place team? I assume that team has 3 wins at most. If that is the case, I would try to win and sneak into the playoffs and hope for the best.I do not like either offer for you even though I think you need a QB. One QB I would try to target (on the cheap) is Griese. The two QBs I would target that are bigger names are Roethlisberber and Eli. Also, Anderson would be another cheap QB to target. I say cheap because an Addai owner would love Keith. The teams to target would be an owner with two good QBs, and the starter is past the bye week. No one can keep two QBs anyway. With your team, you have a great chance at the playoffs with decent QB play.Jeff

The good news is you have a good team. The guy that jumps out to me is White. I just do not think he is worth that price. I might look to move he and Brown and Evans for the best WR you can afford given cap space. Most likely, Garrard is not worth much next season as the Jags will look to upgrade the position. Given how cheap Maroney and Lynch are, you have to keep them and I would keep SJax and the WRs given how young they are. So, the guys that look like they are expendable, imo:White (especially since some will see him as cheap)RBrownEvansGarrardGiven the depth of your team, I might even see if you can move these players for a top develpomental pic since those RBs are only $5. The good news is you have a great team stacked full of good players.
Thanks for the good advice. I probably forgot to mention the most important thing... I can pull back 1 player from the draft for every one of the guys I have dropped when those players are selected. It works like an expansion draft. So I'd lose at most half of these players listed previously. This might change your thoughts about making a 3 for 1 deal now.And the plot thickens... I could get Larry Johnson for Ronnie Brown, LenDale White, Larry Fitzgerald and Lee Evans. Given that I can only protect one of these guys (Larry Fitzgerald) does this trade make sense? Remember I could technically keep half these guys by pulling back players after others have been drafted. I already have the top developmental pick for next year via one of my earlier trades so I can't take any more of those.Or do I just ride it out for this year because I'm giving up too much value and with my depth I should win the league this year? Thanks for your help.
I like it for you, but you will need a wr for the rest of this season. This trade will leave you thin at receiver. How does getting LJ affect your cap? I do like you getting the best player, LJ, in a deal. Getting LJ in a non-PPR league is a great deal.

LJ would cost $15 so it would be fine with my cap. I could also get Randy Moss ($14) for the same players (Brown, White, Evans and Fitz). I know that would be a lot for Randy but he's putting up monster points in my league right now and I can't see him slowing down given how New England is clicking.Do you like the Moss deal too? More or less than for LJ?

That is close, but I think I like LJ better. Hard for me to believe Brady/Moss will be able to keep this up

Well the deal turned out to be Brown, White and Fitz for LJ. I got to keep Evans because I was worried about being too thin at WR. I think it's a good deal for us both as we had differing needs. Thanks for all of your help!

Okay I'm 4-3 but my team is struggling and I have the third lowest starting scoring points in the league (although 3rd highest overall). I want to improve my #2 RB as I have Parker and a bunch of #3's and I cannot make accurate decisions on who to start each week. My efficiency is a horrible 68% (in last place by more then 15%). I am called the drunk monkey because of this.

I know I need a kicker but I'm going to wait in the hope I can complete a trade and not have to release somebody or get a different kicker. I also know about Hilliard and Galloway but I wanted to make sure nobody else got Hilliard so I picked him up.

This is a 12 team league that starts 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, RB/WR, TE, K, and D

10 rushing/receiving yards =1 pt (25 yards for passing)

TD=6 pt (4 pt for passing)

bonuses for 300 yards passing, 100 rushing/receiving

1 pt per 3 receptions

My team: (Player, total points, bye week)

Hasselbeck, Matt SEA QB 98 8

Roethlisberger, Ben PIT QB 93 6

Benson, Cedric CHI RB 56 9

Graham, Earnest TBB RB 60 10

Green, Ahman HOU RB (P *) 35 10

Jones, Thomas NYJ RB 58 10

Parker, Willie PIT RB 79 6

Edwards, Braylon CLE WR 106 7

Galloway, Joey TBB WR (*) 69 10

Hilliard, Ike TBB WR 58 10

Holmes, Santonio PIT WR 65 6

Moss, Santana WAS WR (P) 20 4

White, Roddy ATL WR 77 8

Gates, Antonio SDC TE 109 7

Scheffler, Tony DEN TE 18 6

Folk, Nick DAL PK 66 8

Titans, Tennessee TEN Def 79 4

I just received this trade offer...

I get:

Betts, Ladell WAS RB

Portis, Clinton WAS RB

Curtis, Kevin PHI WR

Shockey, Jeremy NYG TE

I give:

Benson, Cedric CHI RB

White, Roddy ATL WR

Gates, Antonio SDC TE

Taking your advice, I put out some trade offers for the QB's that you targeted. The Anderson owner (who just happens to own Addai) countered with Donovan McNabb. So the deal on the table is the following:Warner and Kenton KeithforMcNabb and Adrian Peterson (no, not THAT one. The other one) Do I take it and run? Another QB owner did not want to part with Eli, but mentioned trading Marshawn Lynch for Brandon Jacobs. Again, is this another deal to take? Thanks for all your advice.

This is a tough decision. I am not as high on Portis as most others. He has not looked good. Yes, he has some TDs, but he looks tentative and does not have the explosion that I am used to seeing. If you do this deal, I would wait a week since Portis plays the Patriots and Benson plays the Lions. I think I would pass on the deal, but it is close. You will see more and more Portis owners dumping him in the coming weeks because of how he looks and his low yardage totals.

Hey Gregg,I would take the McNabb deal just to upgrade your starters. I would still prefer VY long term (keeper), but McNabb is a better option this year. Yes, I think Keith might get his opportunity this year, but you are stacked at RB and he would not start anyway. On the Lynch/Jacobs deal, I would take Lynch ... easily. Admittedly, I was not high on him coming into the NFL, but he has played very well and been consistent. Lynch is a very solid RB3. Jacobs seems to be nicked a lot and shares carries.Jeff

Hi Jeff - tough decision this week - 16 team dynasty - start 3 WR

Performance/Bonus type scoring

Length of Receiving TD 0-39 6.00

Length of Receiving TD 40-110 8.00

Receiving Yards 1-99 0.10 points each

Receiving Yards 100-199 12.00 points for 100, and then 0.10 point for every 1 thereafter

Receiving Yards 200-299 24.00 points for 200, and then 0.10 point for every 1 thereafter

Receiving Yards 300-999 36.00 points for 300, and then 0.10 point for every 1 thereafter

Receptions 1-99 1.00 point each

Fumbles Lost (to Opponent) 1-99 -2.00 points

Davis, Andre' HOU WR at Chargers !

Jennings, Greg GBP WR at Broncos

Marshall, Brandon DEN WR vs Packers

Robinson, Koren GBP WR at Broncos

Walter, Kevin HOU WR at Chargers

Williams, Roydell TEN WR vs Raiders

I am definately in the running so far as a wildcard but could possibly go in as a division leader (tied) So I can't afford to lose.

As long as I'm asking - who would you take for a number 2 RB Watson vs Steelers or Wynn @ Denver or Ryan or Jackson @Denver (could be why only Ryan is listed on cheetsheets) or Pierre Thomas @ 49ers (my other starter is Reggie Bush @ 49ers) similar scoring except .50 on receptions.

Rushing Yards 1-99 0.10 points each

Rushing Yards 100-199 12.00 points for 100, and then 0.10 point for every 1 thereafter

Rushing Yards 200-999 24.00 points for 200, and then 0.10 point for every 1 thereafter

Length of Rushing TD 0-29 6.00

Length of Rushing TD 30-110 8.00

Fumbles Lost -2 pts

I'm leaning toward B Marshall and Walter and Davis - but I hesitate starting both Houston WR - so maybe I would be better off with Marshall and Davis and Jennings? But then Walter and Davis seem to take turns being the scoring machine.

I am also leaning Bush and Watson???

HELP!

Thanks!

Hey,I think you have to go with Marshall and the two Texans. I would avoid the Packers this week unless you see Champ Bailey and/or Dre Bly are out. The one thing to consider and watch whether Andre Johnson comes back this week. I read where he wants to try to be back, but the Texans want to take things slow.Good luck.Jeff

Thanks for all the advice, Jeff. I've got four 3-4 teams in front of me and one 2-5 team, so with a little luck, I think I can overcome this start and make the playoffs. From there, with my lineup and playoff matchups, I have to like my chances. Thanks again.

I like Watson if Rudi does not play. If Rudi plays, I would look to whichever RB starts in GB. Denver is not good against the run. But, Watson impressed me last week. And, that offense will get Watson some scoring chances.

Jeff, What about S. Jackson this week and his chances? My other backs are AP, Benson, and Lewis with AP being my obvious rb1 this week. Thanks again.

Would you trade Boldin for Maroney, this is a 10 team 7 player keeper league.

I like that deal for you ok, but would love you getting Willis for a deal like:JLewis/Boldin for Willis/Warner (you might need a QB)

Hey Jeff, this season has very interesting. The stud RB theory fell flat on its face so far. So many studs have been dogs. Having said that, what are your thought on Shaun Alexander? Will he turn it around? Is the cast limiting him or is he worn out? I have been offered Kevin Jones for him, should I jump on it or be patient with Alexander? this is a redraft league. the actual trade would be kev.jones and chris henry(wr) for rhodes and alexander. Hey Jeff, this season has very interesting. The stud RB theory fell flat on its face so far. So many studs have been dogs. Having said that, what are your thought on Shaun Alexander? I like that deal. Admittedly, I am a fan of KJ mroe than Alexander. Alexander has not looked explosive at all this season and owners have to hope for TDs because that guy is not racking up the 100 yard games we are used to seeing. Chris Henry may never start with your great WRs, but he is good insurance in case of injury. I am on that expects Chris Henry to explode when he comes back.

The only tough matchups for KJ are GB and Minny. The next three games for KJ are very easy matchups. Chicago and Denver are creampuffs against the run. The one other thing KJ gets is receiving yardage when it is tough to run.

I have to sit 1 of these guys, and can't bring myself to make the hard choice. Do I sit Portis or Harrison, in favor of better matchups/hot hands?

I can start 5 of:

C.Portis at NE

D.Wynn at DEN

P.Burress v. MIA

M.Harrison at CAR

RoyWilliams at CHI

H.Miller at CIN

The 4 players in bold have good-to-great matchups this week. But can I really sit CP or Marvin?

Scoring is TD-only, so it's a crap-shoot sometimes.

What say ye, o wise sage?

thanks. I think you HAVE to start Miller, Roy, and Play (as long as Plax plays .. he is questionable as of now). Harrison may not play. If he does, I still prefer Wynn just because I do not expect the Colts to play him much. They will save him for next week as much as possible. I guess Portis has been gold for you this season with TDs. I would start Portis if Plax or Wynn is out due to injury, but I agree with your choices, even though predicting who will score in a given week is not easy. I do think Portis and the Skins offense will find it difficult running on the Patriots. At most, I see the Skins scoring 13 or 14 points. Wynn is the only player I would think about benching. Denver is a great matchup, but hard to tell how the Packers will use all of the RBs.

Hey Jeff-

Another solid week in the books and I am preparing for Week 8!

My SAINTS won and the LSU game was AWESOME!

I hope that your teams are doing well!

Here we go...Both leagues offer 1 PPR, 1 PPC, 6 PTS TD, 1 PT 20 YDS, RETURN YDS

TEAM A

QB (1)

Griese v DET

Anderson @ STL

I like both of these guys. I am worried about starting Griese and also having to play Berrian b/c I have no other WR options due to the bye week.

RB(2)

Reggie Bush @ SF

Kenny Watson v PIT

KJones @ CHI

Maroney v WA

I am leaning towards Bush and KJones right now. Jones faces the Bears defense and they have not been doing too well against the run. Maroney, I don't trust yet. Reggie has a nice match up. I am torn between Watson & Jones, I am more concerned with the Steelers Run D...thoughts???

WR(3)

Reggie Wayne @ CAR

Housh v PIT

Berrian v DET

No questions here-Crayton is on a bye.

======================

TEAM B

RB(2)

KJones @ CHI (Faces a Bears D that gives up yards..but will Martz utilize him?)

Thenry v GB (Will he play?)--Packers run D has looked solid.

Mlynch @ NYJ (Solid matchup)

S Jackson v CLE ( Good matchup-Do I trust him this week?)

KWatson v PIT (Amazing last week! Can he repeat vs the Steelers?)

WR(3)

Welker v WAS (NEW Automatic?)

RWayne @ CAR (Automatic)

KCurtis @ MIN (Minny D is pretty good-McNabb makes this a tricky pick-he is the #1 option-after WESTY)

Calvin Johnson @ CHI (Who can stop this Rookie?)

Devin Hester v DET (I don't think I have room for him this week...)

FLEX RB/WR (1)

This is one of my toughest decisions for the week. I have some pretty nice RB matchups. I can only choose 2 to start at RB, I am leaning towards Lynch & Jackson. I am thinking about going with Calvin Johnson as one of my WR's, so I was going to leave KJones on the bench.

I have Welker-Wayne and CJohnson slotted to go at WR until I get your feedback.

So.....who gets the FLEX SPOT? I think a RB? Kenny Watson? Devin Hester? KJones?

EXTRA MISC QUESTION...

Chris Henry will join the Bengals Ocho Cinco & Housh week 10, he is available would you consider dropping Hester or maybe Travis Henry (Who I believe will not be able to play in a couple of weeks) for Henry???

THANKS AGAIN!!!!

Which def do you like this Cle or TB
Even though I think Gray will play better, I would take the TB defense. There is a real chance MJD does not play. Maybe it is memoriaes from the Vermeil era, but I expect the Rams to rebound a little this week and play better with Jackson and Bulger healthy.

Go with Anderson coming off of a bye week. Since Lewis is not healthy, the Browns should pass more

Bush and KJ easy. I am glad you nabbed Watson last week. I had a feeling about him.

WR(3)

Reggie Wayne @ CAR

Housh v PIT

Berrian v DET

No questions here-Crayton is on a bye.

S Jackson v CLE ( Good matchup-Do I trust him this week?)

KWatson v PIT (Amazing last week! Can he repeat vs the Steelers?)

There are only three legit options: KJ, Lynch, and SJax. I have faith in KJ the most and would probably go with SJax just to try to get a huge game from your stud. Lynch should get 100 total yards and a 50% chance at a TD. I would start SJax if you think you are the underdog and Lynch if you just need a solid game from RB2.

Welker, Wayne and Curtis. Minny defense is great against the run and poor against the pass.

FLEX RB/WR (1)

I have Welker-Wayne and CJohnson slotted to go at WR until I get your feedback.

So.....who gets the FLEX SPOT? I think a RB? Kenny Watson? Devin Hester? KJones? The other RB, SJax or Lynch. I do not think you can rely on Calvin each and every game like you can a RB that gets 20 carries.

EXTRA MISC QUESTION...

Chris Henry will join the Bengals Ocho Cinco & Housh week 10, he is available would you consider dropping Hester or maybe Travis Henry (Who I believe will not be able to play in a couple of weeks) for Henry???

Drop hester for Henry. I LOVE Chris Henry going forward. He will surprise everyone, imo. I remember him dominating preseason. good luck

THANKS AGAIN!!!!

Hey Jeff

Quick Defense question.

I have the Steelers, they have been solid for me. They play the Bengals this week, I know that this may be a high scoring game.

Do I stick with Pitt and wait for a couple of INT's, Sacks or maybe a fumble?

Or do I go with one of these options available on the wire........

Tampa Bay vs the Jags

Denver v Green Bay

Saints @ SF

Cleveland v St Louis

Buffalo v Jets

Just looking for a little reassurance or a different direction for this week.

Kicker Question

Mason Crosby or David Akers?

Thanks

Pitt and Akers. The GB game could be in bad weather

Hey Jeff....

So far so good....couple of close games that will have me pacing until the end of MNF.

I have a TE issue. I have relied on Owen Daniels and he has done well, 31-392, no TD's but w/ PPC and 1PT per 20 yds-I have had no complaints.

Today he went 4-35, last week 2-20, week before that 5-79.

The 5-79 was with Schaub at QB. That has changed over the past 2 weks and today he went out and who knows when he will be back.

I am considering letting Owens go for Jeff King (CAR)

He is 18-189-1, almost half of what Daniels has put up....but he is on the rise. Vinny went to him 3 times today and then Carr came in and for another 7 catches. 10-82

Should I grab Jeff King? He seems to be bouncing back nicely after adjusting to the loss of Delhomme.

I will need to either drop Owens to pick him up or go ahead and say bye bye to one of my many running backs.

First on my list is Travis Henry b/c I believe that between his latest injuries and pending suspension it makes sense, plus I have a nice group of other options to keep....

MLynch--KJones--SJackson--Kenny Watson

or should I drop T Henry for Selvin Young???

I can also consider releasing one of my extra WR's like Kevin Curtis, that would still leave me with

Reggie Wayne--Patrick Crayton--Wes Welker--Calvin Johnson--Chris Henry.

Anyway the short and sweet of it is that I am worried about my TE options.

I also need to decide what to do with or about Travis Henry.

As usual Jeff, I am always a very thankful girl for our time and opinions. :D

I know it early but in my yahoo league ww are open all the time. Need a qb week 9 Griese on bye.

which qb do you like so far week 9

Cambell @ NYJ

Huard vs GB

Warner @ TB

Campbell. I expect him to bounce back from the NE game. The other two have tough matchups, with Huard my next choice.

I would keep Daniels for one more week, then address the issue when he is on bye. I would drop Curtis for Selvin because Chris Henry will be available to cover Welker's bye week. At least your beloved Saints played well yesterday .... for a change :justkidding:

Jeff, How are you? I have my roster in Sig and need to see about any changes you might suggest. I have a kicker and a Te that can be dropped.

Some players on wire are: Campbell,Schaub,Huard, Garrard,Lemon,Losman. Is Kitna and Warner(inj history) Ok? Wonder about my qb depth with Kitna getting knocked around at times.

Bennet,Dayne, echemandu,: any of these worth a pick up.

I feel like Henry, Stokley, and Branch should be able to play some weeks going foward.

thanks !!!!!

Hey BigHead,

I would consider dropping the Titans, Bironas, and Daniels for Schaub, Bennett, and Echemandu. You could use the QB and RB depth.

I do expect Kitna to improve, but having Schaub for when AJ comes back may help a little. Also, Bennett and "Joe" could be starting soon.

Jeff

I like that deal for you ok, but would love you getting Willis for a deal like:JLewis/Boldin for Willis/Warner (you might need a QB)
He countered with Jones and his 2008 1st round pick for Boldin and my 2008 2nd round pick or do you like the Maroney trade better he is thinking that one over still. If it helps I am 6-2 with a 2 game lead and he is 2-6 and in last place.

Jeff,

I'm 5-3 in my redraft league. We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, RB/WR, TE, K, and a D.

The scoring is 1 pt per 10 rushing/receiving (25 passing), TD=6 (passing=4), 3 pt bonus for 100 rushing/receiving (300 passing), and 1 pt per 3 receptions.

My team and their point totals:

Hasselbeck, Matt SEA QB 98

Roethlisberger, Ben PIT QB 108

Benson, Cedric CHI RB 62

Graham, Earnest TBB RB 67

Green, Ahman HOU RB (P *) 35

Jones, Thomas NYJ RB 69

Parker, Willie PIT RB 100

Edwards, Braylon CLE WR 134

Galloway, Joey TBB WR (*) 91

Hilliard, Ike TBB WR 61

Holmes, Santonio PIT WR 75

Moss, Santana WAS WR 26

White, Roddy ATL WR 77

Gates, Antonio SDC TE 134

Folk, Nick DAL PK 66

Titans, Tennessee TEN Def 99

I am dropping Hilliard for either Grant, Leon Washington, Joe Echemandu.

The Frank Gore owner is 3-4 and told me he wants to trade him "for 2 RB's -- one I can start every week and one that is a decent flex-type play"

Here is his team:

Brees, Drew NOS QB 82

Favre, Brett GBP QB 94

Davenport, Najeh PIT RB 44

Gore, Frank SFO RB (P *) 70

Keith, Kenton IND RB 59

Taylor, Chester MIN RB (P *) 22

Wynn, DeShawn GBP RB (P) 47

Bowe, Dwayne KCC WR 76

Davis, Andre' HOU WR 56

Fitzgerald, Larry ARI WR 81

Harrison, Marvin IND WR (Q *) 34

McDonald, Shaun DET WR 61

Davis, Vernon SFO TE 32

King, Jeff CAR TE 43

Crosby, Mason GBP PK 43

Eagles, Philadelphia PHI Def 67

Ravens, Baltimore BAL Def 80

First, do you think I should go after Gore? And if so which two RB's should I offer him? I'm disappointed in Benson, but his schedule is a lot better than Thomas Jones (except in playoffs were both suck). A Green can't get healthy and I'm concerned about Pittman and Bennett stealing carries from Graham.

I owuld do it for a chance at a top three pick. The pick by itself is worth much more than Boldin, imo

I owuld look to trade Ahman and Thomas Jones for Gore and Davenport (to get Parker's handcuff). You would still start Parker, Gore and Benson most weeks. I like it for you. Gore is nicked right now so you might see if you can get Michael Robinson. I read where the coaches are wanting him to get more work. Ahman has a bum knee so you are really only trading TJones for Gore which is a decent move for you.On your waiver move, I like Grant the best (obviously) and "joe" next just because of Ahman's knee.

Hey Jeff-Pulled off a win in both leagues! Thank you for your support!

And yes, I am thrilled with my SAINTS! We looked like we are supposed to this past Sunday.

Thanks to our sorry little division, we are still in the hunt!

I want to get an early start on my week 9 options. I am facing the number 1 team in both leagues this week.

TEAM A

Anderson v SEA is my QB

RB (2)

Reggie Bush v JAX (A bit dinged up)

Kevin Jones v DEN

K Watson @ BUF (concussion—stick w/him or drop him for R Grant (GB) ?)

Maroney @ IND

*(Are they going to try running the ball this week?) – Will Brady get the goal line carries?

WR (3) Berrian is on his BYE WEEK

Reggie Wayne v NE

Housh @ BUF

Crayton @ PHI

TE

Gonzo v GB or Heath Miller v BAL

* I need a BIG GAME TE---I am facing Antonio Gates this week!

K

I have Mason Crosby @ KC – Do you like him?

Should I consider letting him go for Janikowski v HOU or Hanson v DEN?

TEAM B

QB

Tony Romo (Yippee!)

RB (2)

M Lynch v CIN

K Jones v DEN

K Watson @ BUF (concussion)

T Henry @ DET (Will he even play, if he gets healthy?)

* Should I drop Henry b/c of the pending suspension & grab up Selvin Young now?

Steven Jackson is on his bye

WR (3)

Reggie Wayne v NE

Crayton @ PHI

Welker @ IND

Curtis v DAL

Chris Henry @ BUF (He’s BACK!)

Calvin Johnson v DEN –

*I am thinking about letting Johnson go to grab a RB. He hasn’t done that much and my other WR’s are better producers. I could use the help at RB. I can keep T Henry, drop Johnson for Selvin Young or drop Henry for Young and Johnson for R Grant(GB)

What do you think is my best move?

TE

I have Owen Daniels, he left hurt and is unlikely to play this week. Plus without Schaub he gets no love.

My options are…

Jeff King @ TEN (faces a tough D)

Tony Scheffler @ DET

Kyle Brady @ IND ( I am facing Tom Brady @ QB)

Will Heller @ CLE (2 td’s in week 7)

I think that’s it for now. I apologize for being a girl, which makes my questions a little wordier than most. But, I like to be clear and provide you with all the info I have.

Thanks again Jeff!

hey wannabe

I'm looking at next year for my keepers, and am stashing guys away who may make my final list of 9. What do you think of:

Mark Clayton

Ladell Betts

Sammy Morris

Patrick Crayton

Hey, how is it going? Here are my thoughts on those guys. Mark Clayton - been injured all season. I expect 2008 to be better than 2006. He will need to stay healthy. Also, I am uneasy about the QB position in Blatimore next season. McNair might be either gone or phased out.Ladell Betts - I like Betts as a buy low because Portis does not look good to me. He looks slow to the hole and lacks the explosion we all remember. His longest carry for this season, and most of last, is less than 20 yards. I have a feeling Portis could be gone next season. His fantasy stats look better than they are because of the TDs. Sammy Morris - Corey Dillon part two. Morris can be the guy to get 600-800 total yards and + TDs next year. Morris is very underrated, imo.Patrick Crayton - The Romo signing might help, but Crayton is a UFA next season and the Cowboys have not approached him about an extension. Further, I think the Cowboys address the receiver position either through the draft or free agency next season. After being so thin at the position this year, they now realize the spot they are in with TO and Glenn being older. Aslo, an odd thing for Crayton, who I pushed earlier this season, is that he is a possession receiver who has issues with drops. Good luck.

Bush and KJ easy. Look at what Grant did to Denver.

WR (3) Berrian is on his BYE WEEK

Reggie Wayne v NE

Housh @ BUF

Crayton @ PHI

easy decision

TE

Gonzo v GB or Heath Miller v BAL

* I need a BIG GAME TE---I am facing Antonio Gates this week!

Gonzo. Have to go with him off of the bye.

K

I have Mason Crosby @ KC – Do you like him?

Should I consider letting him go for Janikowski v HOU or Hanson v DEN?

I like Hanson going foward.

TEAM B

QB

Tony Romo (Yippee!)

RB (2)

M Lynch v CIN

K Jones v DEN

K Watson @ BUF (concussion)

T Henry @ DET (Will he even play, if he gets healthy?)

* Should I drop Henry b/c of the pending suspension & grab up Selvin Young now?

Steven Jackson is on his bye

Lynch and KJ. I would look at dropping Calvin Johnson from below for Selvin.

Henry is back next week, sadly not this week(week 10). Wayne, Welker, Crayton.

Get Scheffler or King. I lean to Scheffler.

I think that’s it for now. I apologize for being a girl, which makes my questions a little wordier than most. But, I like to be clear and provide you with all the info I have. No apologies needed. I am here to help.

Thanks again Jeff!

I have been being hounded for the last month from this guy trying to get Addai from me.

His current offer is McGahee/TJ for Addai/Steve Smith. I am starting to consider doing this deal, although it probably takes me a step back as far as keepers go. I am 5-3, 2nd in my division and tied for third best record with two other teams. Do I take this deal or is there a counter-offer I should push for?

1/10 rushing, 1/20 passing, 4 pts TD pass, 6 pts all other TD's. Three player, one per position keeper league.

Also, I am considering dropping either Dayne or Morris to pick up Joe Echemandu. Is this a wise move and if so, which do I drop? We have a cap of 6 RB's, so I have to drop an RB to pick one up.
