Hamburger Hill. This movie was released between Platoon and Full Metal Jacket.
I consider it to be AS GOOD as those two. No joke. The difference is no clever dialogue
or big heroics.

It's grit. You get the feeling that this is close to what combat was like.

Hamburger Hill is a good call - a bit overlooked amid its more well known Vietnam movies released in the ‘80s.

ngl - I always think of Hamburger Helper when I hear it mentioned.
