Well congrats, you must be more mature/stronger than I was at the time I started. I was 21 when I started running the leagues 3 years ago and went from a little bit of money I had to the temptation of having 15K at my fingertips at the same time I was introduced to poker. Should I have not done it? Obviously. Do I wish I hadn't done it? Obviously. But that's not the argument anymore. Point is I'm still sticking through my mistake and paying people back and have got out off the FF world and poker world altogether, every last team I own/commish.Now as for this guy, I don't know if you guys will be as lucky as the owners from my leagues that have me out here making things (yes even Tolly) right without having to hunt him down.

I'm probably out more than anyone else on this deal since I won two of his leagues, but I'm not sure how just plain harassing him with flaming e-mails and the like gets us anywhere. Put that energy to better use.

I don't expect the law will have much in the way of good news for us on this, but I'm going to find out. Assuming that avenue is closed and we aren't eventually repaid I think that phone calls to:

a) his boss

b) Micrel's HR department (they seem to be really concerned with ethics, and obeying the law if you go the their HR site).

c) his father, mother and/or wife

are probably about as good as we can do in terms of making sure there are consequences for him.

And for godsake don't do anything stupid and get yourselves in trouble too - don't even threaten to do anything illegal.

If someone from each league could post the total amounts owed as well as the amounts being held as a deposit for future years we can tally everything in one place so we at least have an accurate total.

In Field of Green II there's $1580 owed ($1740 less the $160 he took down) and an additional $1800 in deposits.

In Presidential Suite II there's $1740 owed and an additional $1500 in deposits.

That's $6620 just in two leagues. Looks like it might be more like $20k total?

We could always move start another MFL league with a fresh start in 2011 and find a new owner to replace the commish. I'm not all that excited about being the commish, but would do it on an interim basis. I've saved off all the rosters to a Word Doc just in case he decides to lock us out totally.

I also saved the future draft picks, league and scoring setups, and constitution. I would also be in favor of renaming the league. Presidential II is about the most stupid name for a fantasy football site that I've ever heard.

Why would this thread be shut down? I wonder if Joe would consider a permaban on these guys to keep them from posting about new leagues in the Find A League Forum?

Because this isn't the 1st thread like this that has shown up in the SP. And every other time, these threads get cleaned up and any personal info that is posted is removed. I'm offering a little friendly advice to use the time now to set something up to help you guys work together later. Do what you want with it.

Maybe everyone effected by this should post their emails so that we can coordinate a plan? I think we should take giancamo's advice. Suggestions?
