Was Brian Calhoun's 2007 Knee Injury a New Injury? (1 Viewer)

Was the knee that ended Calhoun's 2007 season a continuation of the injury he had in 2006? Or an unrelated/new injury?

Thanks for any info on this!

I know this is a month old but I came across your post.http://blog.mlive.com/lionsinsider/2007/10...sters_on_a.html

"UPDATE: Calhoun will not have any further surgery. Instead, he'll just continue rehab on his knee and he should be 100 percent by the start of the off-season workouts."

Thanks for the info. Good to know it wasn't a re-injury

Thanks TMan. I'm not sure if it's better or worse that it was the same injury, but appreciate the info.Hmmm...looking around again, CBS said in January:

Lions second-year RB Brian Calhoun tore an ACL for the second consecutive season in 2007. He injured his knee in Week 4 and was placed on Injured Reserve. Before he did, he had seven carries for 35 yards (5.0 avg.) with five catches for another 35 yards (7.0 avg.). He has 109 total yards in two NFL seasons.(Updated 01/18/2008).
Knee - Questionable for the start of 2008 training camp.
Anyone got the definitive scoop on this?
