***Washington at Buffalo*** (-7) (45.5) Game Thread (1 Viewer)

This is finally starting to looke like that 3rd pre-season game where the offense was just able to complete passes at will. Looking so much more in rhythym than any other point this year...

Halftime hits and I go outside to mow the lawn.  Everyone in the neighborhood is out.  Mowing the lawn, walking the dogs, just enjoying the day, full of cheer.  It's depressingly adorable how much of our fragile rust belt psyche is driven by these multi-millionaire football mercenaries.

I'm embarrassed to admit how much a difference Sunday's result makes on my Mondays and Tuesdays.  Nearly everyone who works in my office is the type who uses the term "sportsball" and they can't possibly understand this.  I'm sure they would view it as totally irrational, which I guess it kind of is.

The refs not giving Buffalo any of these PI calls is getting old. Especially after that whole “3 penalties to nullify the INT” from earlier that went against the Bills.

I'm not sure that the Bills have blitzed a single time.  I'm sure they probably have and I just missed it, but it seems like they're just rushing 4 and playing good coverage.  Would be nice to see the pass rush get home more but obviously no complaints.

Washington screwed on that third down call.  Heinicke shouldn't be down until he's touched; it's not when the knee hits when he's diving headfirst, unless he's giving himself up....which he wasn't.

You sure? (I'm not.)

It wasn't long ago they put in that rule where you were basically down when you dove (gave yourself up). I honestly don't know what the rule is this year.

Giants fan friend says Daniel Jones was called down on a similar play last week.  Maybe it's a rule change this year that I wasn't aware of.

Nice grab by Thomas. (Trying to think of a witty comment about letting a guy like him leave your organization... Stay tuned...)

If Tyree Jackson plays as well as he did early in the preseason before getting hurt, that could be two that the Bills had and let go.  Tyree would be worse since he played his college ball here.

He's lightning-quick to the wrong spot.
He routinely beat the pants off of Williams but it was like Allen just seemed to start operating under the assumption that Young would come free in the outside and just stepped up in anticipation of it happening.
