Some numbers to consider.
Through 2 home games this year:
Washington's stadium crew has seen 208 tackle opportunities (rush attempts + completions + sacks). They have handed out 140 solo tackles and 121 assisted tackles for a total of 261 combined tackles. So, they have awarded 1.25 tackles per opportunity and register 1 assist for every 1.2 solo tackles.
Buffalo's stadium crew has seen 209 tackle opportunities. They have handed out 193 solo tackles and 107 assists for a total of 300 combined tackles. So, they have awarded 1.44 tackles per opportunity and register 1 assist for every 1.8 solo tackles.
In contrast, Philadelphia's stadium crew has seen 226 tackle opportunities. They have handed out 183 solo tackles and 33 assists for a total of 216 combined tackles. So, they are awarding just .96 tackles per opportunity and score 1 assist for every 5.5 solo tackles.
There are definitely some big differences in how tackles are awarded by stadium that is worth paying attention to in IDP leagues.
Based on these numbers, it looks like Buffalo's crew is more likely to hand out a solo plus assist on any given play, which makes them very friendly to IDPs. Washington's crew is more likely to hand out multiple assists on a given play, which gets more players involved but doesn't inflate the fantasy points as much. Philadelphia's crew is much more likely to award a single solo tackle with no asists on any given play, which will likely limit the upside of IDPs who play there despite the fact they may also see more plays due to the fast-paced Chip Kelly offense.
