I think the video (mainly the title) gives the guy a bad rap. I have to assume it was his kid who was kicked at and looked like maybe a swing of the stick as well.

Yeah, I hink he wanted a four minute penalty as opposed to the normal two.

Stupid parents...kicking is a match penalty....5 minutes and player ejected. Giving her 4 minutes get them off light and the penalties can be canceled out by 2 goals max. A match caries an automatic major (5min) and the full 5 minutes must be served regardless of how many goals are scored. Not to mention the player being ejected and subsequent disciplinary hearing.

But the real stupid thing here is that the ref had a call...regardless of what the final assessment was, the ref's arm immediately goes up and he stops play. I can see Paul's freak out should the ref let play continue, but that's not the case.
