I believe all fields are covered until game time. Only bad weather during the game should be a concern. Unless of course you have bad tarps or someone forgets to turns on the heaters.

I've heard that Pittsburgh and Buffalo could be really nasty, not only with snow/freezing rain but with wind. Philly just might have occasional freezing rain but I don't think they will have a wind problem. I'm 20 minutes north of Philly, and we got a dusting of snow last night on the ground, but it is barely raining right now if at all, not much wind.

Live 5 miles north of Philly stadium, a little breezy, was freezing rain a little bit ago, nothing currently.

Pitt: Windy with evening rain...then a mix of rain and snow overnight. Low near 35F. Winds SW at 20 to 30 mph.

Benching Ward at flex in favor of Edge. Might pick up Cinci D actually.

Philly Seattle game:

Here in Philly there is already snow on the ground.

There is supposed to be sleet and rain, and a temp in the high 30's.

Also, the field at the Linc was just resodded last week.

Lets hope it holds up!

Snow has mostly melted in Chicago, but a cold rain has been coming down steadily all morning and shows no sign of letting up.

From 43 hours ago in the Pittsburgh Gazette:

Steelers Chairman Dan Rooney said the sod at Heinz Field is in "outstanding" condition for the game against the Cincinnati Bengals, and the team will take extra precautions to prevent some of the problems that existed in Monday night's soggy situation against the Miami Dolphins.
I'm questioning if I should start Roethlisberger over Schaub? I dunno, despite this state I'm still worried about field condition during the game and rain.
