Weather for sunday's games (1 Viewer)

Green Bay is going to be pretty good 35 degrees 0-10% chance of rain.
I wonder how the players from the desert will fare in GB with those conditions ...
Conditions? That is wonderful weather for GB this time of year. Mid-week they were saying cold rain which would have downgraded leinart and favre, i encouraged about it only being 35 high of 45.
I think I read where the average temp in GB for this time of year is high in 45-50 and low around freezing. In Arizona, where it is warm and they play in a dome, it is in the high 70s for game time . For reference, it will be a wind chill of 43 and low winds. I just see it as one more thing for a young team. It could be nothing.

I think I red the ave temp was around 42 or something as well. Playing in the cold shouldnt be a problem for young players, these guy have played in cold before so thats not really relevant.

maybe, but I still think it affects Leinart and company to some degree, but not as much as it would a month from now

Philadelphia (vs Jax ) is supposed to have gusts of wind in the 25-50mph zone :o
Hopefully, that'll slow McNabb up a little :football: .
Jimi Hendrix died from vomitting in his sleep and choking on it.Is anyone else worried about the strong winds in Philly?
I live about 40 miles west of the city and it's amazingly windy here. And keep in mind that the Linc tends to be a windy place even on relatively calm days. Gives Akers fits sometimes as he's said in the past. So for Akers on a day like today.... :loco: As far as McNabb is concerned, he has a strong arm and has been productive in windy situations before. Remember a few years back during the NFC championship vs ATL right after a snowstorm, it was windy like this AND bitter cold and he was still dominant. I would start McNabb with confidence.

Copied from the NYG / Meadowlands thread:

Wind affects two things - long kicks and long passes.Downgrade Plax, uptick possession recievers (Toomer, Shockey).Throw the kickers at the wall (the wind will blow them out the window).

Another weather resource: Weather Center
I have several weather sites bookmarked for FFL but this is the best one I've seen yet. Thanks.Edit: usually I don't let the weather have too great an impact on my line-up decisions. This time, though, there's ample reason to expect the weather could have an impact in the northeast today: CNN story.

I am in Harrisburg, PA about 80 miles from Philly and it is terrible! I think it is terrible everywhere in NOrtheast. The wind is shaking my house! Haven't seen consistent winds like this in a long, long, time. I think there is actually reason to worry about performances today!

Unreal I got McNabb, Brown, and Williams starting and not many other options. Oh well. Ill just pray that it doesnt affect them. I dont think I can dare sit McNabb for Rivers.

Can any Philly Homers tell us if the winds at the stadium will be a cross wind or will it be blowing from end zone to end zone?

My buddy is at the game and I just called him to check on weather because I own Stall. He is in the parking lot and the wind is really coming! I barely heard him on his cell and he said the wind was coming sideways. I am benching Stall and starting Gabriel in safe dome.
