At this moment, I have high week in all 3 of my leagues. However, in all 3 of them, the teams I'm playing are 2nd in points with good shots at overcoming me.A pretty good chance that I could go 0-3 and have 2nd highest points in ALL 3 of my cash leagues. sigh...Can't account for Injuries...Played Ryan Grant over LeSean McCoy (PPR league), and Owen Daniels over Jermaine Gresham. Should have gone with my Gut on the TE instead of rankings.Still could win based on Rivers tomorrow night...
This game might go down as the Jake Locker Bowl by season's end.I've been saying for the past year, the 49ers are a QB away from being a pretty good team. Alex Smith is not going to cut it, and if him submarining the team this season is what it takes for the 49ers to figure that out, I guess it's worth it in the long run.
lol me too with Freeman left on the bench and not much left on waivers. Vick may be availableTchula said:my two qb's are Kolb and Stafford. bye bye season

I am on the verge of boycotting 49er games until they relieve Alex Smith of his duties. I've never considered Hasselbeck to be an elite QB but the more I watched the game, the more he looked like a stud compared to Smith.I've been saying for the past year, the 49ers are a QB away from being a pretty good team. Rules are rules, stupid or not. It was the correct call. The Megatron travesty cost me 9 points in a game that I'm trailing by 16, with a QB and D to go. Very possible that the BS call will end up costing me the game...![]()
As bad as Smith looked today, Crabtree was by far the worst player on that offense. He was responsible for both the early interceptions and he just flat out dogged out there. He is soft right now and looks more like a figure skater than a pro football player; that is being unkind to figure skaters, I know.As for Locker, I'm up in Seattle and a Husky ticket holder and I'm not sure it's happening for Jake. Right now he is a much better runner than he is a passer and his accuracy is far from where it will need to be at the next level. If he went to a team where he needed to start right away instead of sitting and learning for a few years (a la Rodgers) you may be looking at the next Alex Smith, or worse, David Carr. He wouldn't meet those expectations. Not sure what the answer is for the 9'ers, but I don't think it's Locker. I also don't believe that they'll finish in a position to take him should his value stay high. This game might go down as the Jake Locker Bowl by season's end.I've been saying for the past year, the 49ers are a QB away from being a pretty good team. Disagree, but not worth arguing about here - there are plenty of other threads for that, lol...Rules are rules, stupid or not. I probably in the same boat. The Megatron travesty cost me 9 points in a game that I'm trailing by 16, with a QB and D to go. Very possible that the BS call will end up costing me the game...![]()
:XSpiller and KolbAnd anyone who sat Foster, I still think it was the right move if you had more established backs.
I'm just saying nobody knew he was going to be Fantasy Jesus this week. Next week if you sit him, you're dumb.Lots of folks trying to look smug about having Foster, or cutting their wrists over sitting him, but it's week 1.
Shayn is that you?But seriously one of my opponents had nicks and foster on the bench as well, but also had Peyton and CJ2K in so of course im losing by 60 pts atm.Had both Foster and Nicks on the bench...
I watched the whole Dolphins @ Bills game and I can give you the word on Spiller. The Bills offense stunk up the joint. Other than one specific drive which featured a heavy dose of Fred Jackson, the entire Bills offense was completely anemic and frequently went 3 and out. I don't know if this is something that can be corrected by a proper application of coaching and boot in the ###, or if it something that is more fundamentally wrong with the entire team in general at this point, but I'd be pretty leary of owning any of the Bills skill position players outside of Fred Jackson at this point in time. That being said, I wasn't too pleased with my boys today. They let the Bills hang around all game long with only a one score lead. When the other team is that bad you have to take advantage of the opportunities that they are giving to you and put the game out of reach. Also start Turner vs Pit (took a gamble and lost hard and Spiller (3.6 points wtf happened I really didnt see any highlights)
I'm getting so sick of some of these rules. When I look at what the Saints did to Favre in the NFCC with no call and then some of the really BS roughing the passer calls made on sunday it just seems backwards. Some hands to the face calls were a joke and then you can't launch yourself to make a tackle. This is getting to be BS and it's really slowing down the game.Rules are rules, stupid or not. That Calvin Johnson call was the worst call I ever saw! The guy had 2 feet and a thigh down in the endzone, not to mention I didnt see the game, but it looked like it was ruled a TD initially then overturned? If that was the case definately wasnt enough evidence to overturn it. Moving the ball to one hand isnt a sign that he didnt have control if anything it reaffirms he had it the whole time then the ground causes a fumble. Retarted.I'm getting so sick of some of these rules.
