Week 10 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

I got up the nerve to bench him this week for C. Henry (not that it was a huge difference). I can't see Moss starting on my team anymore unless something major happens. It's sad that such a talent is useless on that team.
i did the exact same thing... it may not have helped but it didn't hurt

If this is the thread for those who lose because of one FREAKIN' yard, then allow me to vent

It's hard to take a loss when you score 140 points (2nd most in the league) and lose. :wall:

If the Giants gained just one more yard, I win my game by 0.8 points. The Bears allowed 249 total yards which gave my opponent 3.0 points. If they allowed one more yard, it's only 1.0 points. One freaking yard?? I would've won 140.8 to 140. Unbelievable. I honestly thoght I had that game, even with the Bears TD on that FG return. Well, you win some and you lose some due to shear luck. Unfortunately I was on the losing end this time. Let this be known to the football gods that the next close game goes my way.

Playing a guy who hasn't scored more than 81 points all year, and he hung 109 on me, mainly due to Chad Johnson picking this week to wake up.

Out of Larry Johnson, Tory Holt, TJ Housh, Anquan Boldin & Todd Heap I had 1 TD and a total of 41 points. I lost by 8. (Minnesota's Defense didn't help much with that 1 point effort).

One of the worst injury days for me in a long time. Tiki is dinged up now, Gonzo will probably miss 2-3 weeks, Heap limped off the field (I'm hoping nothing bad there!), and worst of all Portis may not see the field the rest of the year. On top of it all, I've had to work around Hasselbeck's injury earlier this year.

I've been trying to trade most of these guys for the last couple of weeks too.

:tfp:

It's still early yet, but all I need out of Gradkowski and Delhomme tonight is 5 points. I figured that would be a cinch. 0 from both so far. Ints all over the place. :hot:

Last week I lost on Josh Brown's meaningless 21 yard FG kick with less than 2 minutes left. This week I lost by 3 passing yards (Thanks a lot Jake Delhomme). I've lost the last two games by a combined score of less than 1 point.

I hate FF football :hot:

Jaguars defense versus the Houston Texans....Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I can't believe I've started the Jags DST against HOU twice this year thinking I've got a great matchup.

I went up against Chad Johnson and LT and lost 170.60 to 161.17. Had the second highest point total (and could have won if Galloway was shut out last night)

I have the highest points for and the highest points against. This week playing the guy in first place who incidentally has the easiest schedual and lose by 2 points.

started bulger, portis, reggie brown - 11 total points

used to own rudi and portis but traded rudi for ronnie brown - seemingly good pickup since i also received reggie wayne and jeremy shockey by packaging gates with rudi.

now portis is out, likely for the season and im barely hanging on to the last playoff spot with a 4-6 record.

im on a four game losing streak

gotta turn it around!!

wow i feel much better after having vented on this thread.

I'm just one point shy of the highest points in the league, yet I'm 5-5 having again lost to the highest points (I was tied for second) this week. It's getting quite annoying. I've had the worst luck with our schedule.

I normally just complain here and don't read others' posts. However, that DOES suck.

I lost this week scoring 2nd highest points (129) vs. a team w/Tomlinson. I have 3rd most points in my league and I'm not in the playoffs as it stands right now.

However, I feel better after reading some of these REALLY painful posts

LT KILLED me this week in one of my leagues. Of course, had I started Rivers over Manning and McAllister over Ahman Green I could have won. :wall:

And my other league...another week, another loss...
