Week 10 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

Yup, me too. Roddy White is broken. What is the f'n deal. Keep thinking it will work itself out, but screw it, apparently the last few years were a figment of my imagination?

Team showed up too, and unfortunately lost by 8 pts. Someone has to take the blame, and why not the 1st round value "can't miss" PPR WR that put up 10 pts for me (again).

 
A few weeks ago i traded gronkowski (i have jimmy graham) and decker (tebow throwing like poop and not towards decker at time) for hillis (was coming back) and julio jones (also returning) and today i played against them and obviously lost because of their points and my 0s.

So after my initial struggles, I still somehow managed to have a chance at winning my matchup, thanks to Arian Foster and Reggie Bush.All I needed was for Nick Folk to hit a 24-yard field goal. :mellow: :cry:
 
Oh - and another vent - why is it that really good teams have bad weeks the week before or after they play me. I can't catch a break - bad teams this year seem to put up their best scores of the year against me while good teams never stumble against me. Seems like I have to submit a perfect lineup every week to even have a chance...still sitting at 6-4 in both leagues but my SoS is ridiculous.

 
In my other league, faced the Bears defense after dominating this guy, now I'm up 18 he has Rodgers and I have Finley...oh the joys of FF!

 
ADP scores 18 in ppr tonight and season's over. I hate Shanahan and Hillis. Every matchup I've lost this year has been by less than 10 pts. 3 I lost by less than 5. 2 I've lost by fractions of pts. Oh and I hate my job and my wife is a bee. Thought I'd throw that out there since I was already venting. Good luck to the rest of you this season.

 
Is it possible to love and hate Randall Cobb tonight? If the TD he gave away are the only points GB gives I'll be one person who does! :angry:

 
I don't even know where to start I'm so mad. 14 team PPR

Big game, if I win I make the playoffs for sure and go a long way in securing a week 14 bye.

Michael Bush spots me 32 on Thursday night BUT THEN

-Josh Cribbs fumble

-George Wilson beasting as usual but then out with a stinger at halftime

-Roddy White being Roddy White this year. Thanks also for the dropped TD near the end of the Saints game.

-Anquan Boldin being garbage in Seattle. Thank god I didn't see all the incompletions at the end or I would have lost my mind.

On the other side of the ball thanks to...

-Larry Fitgerald's circus catch off a deflection near the end of the Cardinals game

-Patrick Willis' 6 points in 5 minutes at the end of the Giants game.

But despite all this I LOSE BY ONLY TWO POINTS

BECAUSE...AND THIS IS WHERE MY HEAD BLOWS OFF...

In my league everyone gets awarded +3 points for fumble recoveries. Which is fine for defensive players I think but I don't think it's fair for offensive players. Case in point, BECAUSE CAM NEWTON RECOVERED HIS OWN FUMBLE HE GOT +3 POINTS IN MY LEAGUE. If he'd lost it it would have been -3 points. A 6 point swing because he recovered his own fumble.

SO BECAUSE OF CAM NEWTON'S STUPID RECOVERED FUMBLE I LOSE BY TWO INSTEAD OF WINNING BY ONE.

-0n a week where M Bush went for 32

-Newton, Steve Smith and Legarette Blount all sucked for him. Very rare for Cam to suck fantasy-wise. I gotta hit that.

Injuries have been terrible all year too. Britt, then Best, dealing with Daniel Thomas all year, now George Wilson's stinger...hopefully he plays this week.
