I'm not feeling as good as I was early in the week about Seattle right now. Picked them up early for next weeks matchup against AZ figuring they have been playing well at home and would be usable this week against NYG, but after today.... hmm

Detroit is at Buffalo next. Dallas is the week after. Right now I like them in the following order but it will change as the week goes on and more information is available.TB vs CAR - if Moore and their RBs are out then they are easily the best matchup. 48 yards passing? seriously?

CHI vs MIN - AP is very scary though so it isn't a guaranteed safe play but Bears are money, fantasy-wise.

STL vs SF - just playing at a very high level and I think the rookie will make mistakes. STL defense is just way better than Broncos.

SEA @ ARI - Arizona is not the giants and the seahawks are better than the vikings defense. Vikings did decent with 6 sacks, if the two returns for TDs didn't happen then I think Anderson would have thrown a couple interceptions or got sacked some more

ARI vs SEA - If whitehurst plays again then without a doubt it's a solid start despite them giving up 533 yards and 27 pts to Minnesota, yikes. How they still put up points despite that is crazzy. I doubt he goes off for 400+ yards like Favre does and the defense is pretty opportunistic despite being terrible at points allowed and yards allowed.

DET @ BUF - A better play than they were week 9, Bears did decent against them and so did the chiefs so it's a good matchup. They are really at the same level as SEA and ARI for me this week because they keep giving up a lot of points and yards and yards. Fitzpatrick hasn't really been that awful though. I think the last two defenses were just good. I think Fitzpatrick plays well this week against Detroit.

MIN @ CHI - I'm about to drop Minnesota after their game against Arizona. I expected them to do better but 6 sacks was pretty decent. Minnesota is hungry so they could pull off an upset. Chicago is extremely generous but so was Arizona so I'm a little hesitant about the upside here. Chicago just plays better against division rivals, especially at home. I think the Vikings will get sacks but I don't think there will be a ridiculous amount of turnovers.

Honestly, it's pretty much the same advice every week. Just start every team going up against CAR, ARI, CHI, and SEA (in that order) as long as they aren't the bottom teams like Texans, Bills, Broncos, and Jags. And possibly the Patriots too since they keep doing poorly despite having suck favorable matchups. Those teams are just head and shoulders worse than the rest. Otherwise the next tier of bad offenses would be CLE, MIN, SF, JAC, and BUF.

Carolina and to a lesser extent Buffalo, Minnesota, and Dallas seem to me to be the teams this year that warrant a spot start from whoever their weekly opponent is. Carolina is just woefully inept and has no offensive identity resulting in very low offensive output which keeps the opposing defense fresh and off the field. Buffalo, Minnesota, and Dallas are all teams that feel like turnover machines who might turn the ball over on any given play resulting in a great deal of defensive scoring opportunities.

At this point I would stick with Arizona for the rest of the season and not risk dropping them or leaving them on the WW. Tampa should be a nice play but Arizona has one of the best defensive schedules for the rest of the season.

Not a bad schedule indeed and 5 of the final 7 are at home. They currently rank 8th in my scoring system (CBS). Will probably be in the playoff hunt as well.

1. Tampa

2. Arizona

3. Indianapolis

Indy is home vs. Cincy. Cincy is coming off a short week, Ocho is bickering about his role, and Benson and the ground game has not been nearly as good this year as last. If Manning and Co. can get up by 2 scores quickly at home (which will probably happen), Freeney and Mathis should wreak havoc on Carson Palmer and put up a solid sack total, intercept at least one pass, and there is always the potential of a strip sack when Freeney and Mathis are on the field.

What's everybody think about the St. Louis/San Fran game? I'm torn. Both teams have been giving up big points to defenses this year.

How about KC: @DEN, ARI, @SEA next 3 weeks?
Well I was just talking about this week, and KC I'm assuming is owned in most leagues. But as for them, I don't like the @Den matchup this week as Denver can score at home and probably will score a lot. Not like Orton throws a lot of INTs or fumbles a lot, and they barely run the ball enough to expect a fumble there. But there next two matchups (ARI and SEA) are pretty sweet so you'd have to almost be picking them up now with the intention of using them in the future.Tampa, Arizona, and Indy should all be much better plays this week.

I have grabbed StL in any league I don't have Pitt... like SF to give more pts as usual...

I actually like SF defense this week ahead of S.L. The Rams defense has not done well on the road and now they have to play a team coming off a bye week. Niners D has been decent of late and we know they're talented.

I'm starting S.F over Pitt this week. Risky, I know...........benching Pitt is HARD. My league awards fairly heavy for sacks, INT's, and offers points for low point totals allowed. Brady doesn't throw many INT's, doesn't get sacked often, and I expect him to put at least 14 points on the board (which...at 14+...no bonus points are allowed in my league).

Brady has a very sore foot which, at the least, should make him more immobile. I think Pitt is a good play. In my league with my D on bye I picked up Arizona but, with Hasselbeck playing now, I'm looking at Indy on the WW and am thinking about changing horses. How much should AZ be downgraded because Hass is playing? He threw no picks vs AZ in week 7 in Seattle but did get sacked 5 times.

So how are they downgraded then?

I'm wavering on trusting Tampa DST this week (hate counting on DST's that give up so many yds & scores), but Carolina is just so god-awful offensively they just have to be started.
