Week 10 Waiver Wire (1 Viewer)

Any Kelce owners without a backup find any value on waivers for a 1 week loaned TE?

Looking like my best option is Charles Clay. But guessing there may be some other gems i don’t know about.
Not clear whether Clay is playing. If he does, I'll pick him up. Otherwise may make a play for Vernon Davis as Reed looks like he's out.

I’m going with Fiedorowitz and literally hoping for 6 points. Hoping Savage just dumps to his safety and would be thrilled with 4 for 50.

Forte knee swelling...no practice. McGuire has had only one good game all year; the game we thought he would do well (Powell out) he stunk it up with limited touches with Forte getting the lion's share.  Dare we try him again or pass?

I currently have Clay in there but if he cannot play this week I like Ebron vs CLE or Celek vs NYG as dart throws
I find it funny that Celek is a mortal lock this week.

For deep leagues, SF is hurting at WR with Garcon on the IR and now Trent Taylor out indefinitely. I'd be taking a look at Goodwin, Robinson, and Bourne (depending on how deep your league is). Matchup vs the Giants on tap this week, so some real sleeper potential exists here.
I'm assuming Goodwin will draw Jenkins. Robinson will get to pick on Apple who is playing like garbage.

I still don't think McGuire is very good but the fact the Forte is dealing with swelling in his surgically repaired knee is definitely concerning. This could be a Jamaal Charles type situation. McGuire outs snapped Powell for the first time this season vs. BUF last week, I think McGuire is a good stash right now.

T. Williams Dallas- in listening to some podcasts last night I heard 2 things of interest that could raise his value. Dez could actually have the dreaded high ankle sprain and one of the FBG law guys speculates that Zeke will start his suspension this week.

Not sure how accurate these are but Williams should have big value if both are out and having Dak throwing to him.

I'd think Williams would do better with a hobbled but active Dez occupying the no 1 corner

Davis Webb in dynasty leagues. He's going to get PT this season, maybe soon.

I like Webb as a prospect & when healthy, the Giants have an outstanding receiving corps.

There's no guarantee they'll take a QB with their 1st round pick. If Webb shows well, he could be their starter next season.

I love Webb's upside.

These sound like reasons NOT to play Williams imo.

McGuire got all the garbage time carries which was basically the entire 4th quarter when the Jets had a huge lead on Buffalo. I wouldn't read anything into it.

Agreed.  From a Cowboys fans perspective, Williams has been given many opportunities to seize a bigger role in the past and never capitalized on it.  He's the Cowboys no. 2 WR because of blocking ability and veteran presence more so than receiving talent.  He's a body catcher that's not going to win challenged balls or beat coverage on his own, more attention from the defense is a bad thing for him.  I'd personally rather take a flier on Brice Butler from a fantasy perspective.

With the Austin Seferian-Jenkins experiment at an end for me, and with Kittle being out this weekend (and Garcon out), Garrett Celek is my dart throw for the week.  Not sure there's much upside, but with TB's TE Def being above average and the Giants TE Def being part of their overall suckage this year, the floor can't be any lower than what I was already getting.

30-40 yards and a TD would be a cherry on top!

Agree with you both -- I think Dez may end up playing, but not confident he won't be more of a decoy, and while Williams is coming out of a big game, with Zeke gone I see Beasley being a big beneficiary out of the slot and in RZ. Considering Beasley as a one-week filler over Williams and other guys mentioned above like Goodwin, Humphries, etc.

Thoughts?

Just picked up Corey Clement. The way the Eagles offense has been clicking they spread it around. Clement has been able to find some touches and looks to have a Sproles light type of role right now. I don't think you can roll him out every week but against weaker opponents where the Eagles may get up big, he could get a decent line.

The guy had 3 TDs in a game and they weren't fluky plays. He needs to be owned.

Agree on Beasley > Williams.  Last week seems very anomalous with Williams.

I picked up NYG Gallman , I need a RB and He is is my last chance at a semi starting RB I see .
No offense but that’s kind of gross.

If I had to pick a lineup from our WW:

QB - Cutler

WR - Humphries, Aldrick Robinson, T Williams

RB - McGuire, CJ Prosise

FL - Charles

TE - Fiedorowicz

K - Lambo

D - NYG or TB

Welcome to Week 10
