Week 11 waiver wire pickups (1 Viewer)

I'd like to say Anderson but I'm not sure what he's worth with Ball back and Hillman.
Ball is not back and was not doing a thing before he left. Hillman showed enough to make him more of a nice complimentary back with good third down skills. Believe me you and the Denver brass and Manning know enough about RB effectiveness to see that Anderson IS there best first couple down option. Toot toot ride that train.

Anderson has been their best runner for a while now and he's been buried on the depth chart. not sure the Denver backfield is anything other than a crapshoot at this point.

Damien Williams looked real good running and receiving the ball. The best natural runner on the Dolphins. Daniel Thomas fumbled again, and Lamar Miller is nursing a sore shoulder. It's a long shot.

Say what?

What kind of guppy leagues are you in? Rodgers went in the 2nd round of the draft in both leagues I am in.

Is it because they don't like Green Bay or something?

:fishing:

I'll mention some of the Drops as well as Adds:

Rivera will be dropped by anyone who paid attention, including me. I think Chase Ford may end up the play here since there is no proof Rudolph is ready. But I can get Ford after waivers.

Sanu may be dropped. I own him and think so highly of him I will probably keep him for one more week.

Brian Hoyer will be dropped in most 2QB leagues.

Kenny Britt will be dropped, by me and by many others. The Rams are tanking.

Malcolm Floyd had been dropped in my league and I picked him up and held thru the bye.

Greg Jennings is a team's #1WR and is widely available. I just used a Yahoo! "trick" to pick him up against a non-started player (James Starks, who will be massively dropped).

Could you elaborate on why you would drop Rivera right now? Garbage points look the same on my league's score sheet as points scored on the opening drive of the game. Guy is getting 8 targets a game for the past month and scoring every week. For dynasty, he is young, and has built some great rapport with his young potential franchise QB. Cannot see a world in which I would drop him, unless maybe TEs and WRs are lumped into the same category. If you really didnt believe there was anything there, I'd trade him before I dropped him. He has nice value right now.

I cannot imagine dropping Sanu either.

Chuck, he did nothing until the end of the game, meaning the Raiders either were not thinking of him or he could not get open as a "focus" of an opposing defense. I like him real-world but not fantasy. Oh, and, my league is crap for trades. But you are probably right and he won't be Dropped, so my bad.

some of us are too cheap to pony up for the FBG subscription so we only know Rodgers as that doofus from the State Farm commercials.

While this may be true, I still don't see why it makes him a drop. A TE that produced TE1 three weeks in a row is an add regardless of how he's doing it. Especially when the Raiders play full halves of garbage time.

He did look good, but the Dolphins have a tough next 4 games, and they just lost OT Branden Albert for the season. I'd prioritize a few others ahead of him.

Kyle Rudolph for sure. If he is ready to go wk 11 he should be a TE1. Coming from a Vernon Davis owner here :wall:

I kind of like Jarvis Landry for this reason. Tough run schedule with no real punch in the running game as it is. 10 targets Sunday.

Not a week winner pickup but may help as a WR3 for PPR with a few byes left on the schedule.

Firstly, remember he did that against the Raiders. Doug Martin made a career out of that, a 1 game career that is;)

I like Anderson, but it seems the Broncos have a fever and the only thing curing it is more Ball.

And it took them until week 10 and injuries to Hillman, Ball (and rumors that Thompson has a mild knee issue) for them to figure it out, why exactly?

It was a great performance and I will be making a waiver claim but you can't ignore that it was against the Raiders and I would not start him with confidence when Ball returns healthy. Regardless of how poorly Ball performed before getting hurt.

Actually, even if you arbitrary removed the two best games from each of the top 10 RB's in 2012, Martin was still a top 10 RB.

This of course makes great sense, which is why nobody will count Lynch's TD's from yesterday when evaluating his total season performance.

...right?

or the Raiders just suck and no one ever gets open until teams quit trying after being up more than 20, which is often.

TE Kyle Rudolph for sure. I'll be picking him up over Ball/Anderson as I'm very TE-needy

RB Tre Mason if he's still out there

RB Charles Sims if still out there

WR John Brown just keeps producing. Drew Stanton has 3 TD's this year, and all 3 have been to Brown.

TE Marcedes Lewis wasn't bad before he got injured. Could be a nice big body target and check-down for Bortles in PPR leagues

WR: I like the Brown kid in Arizona, he may should be valuable to Stanton's check-down tree. Hes available in both my leagues. 10 and 12 team

RB: Im taking the approach that I dont need to worry about over stocking RBs. I feel there is a huge tier of borderline roster RBs, and its big enough to go light on depth RBs. Basically, just wait a week and another roster-able RB with upside will be available.

Landry is the real deal in PPR

Jordan Matthews seems to have a whole lot more chemistry with Sanchez than Cooper does. If he's available in your league, now would be the time to snag him.

Call me crazy, but I have a hunch that Martin isn't a great rb. Lol.

It was a joke, let it go. Or should be start discussing how bad the colts o-line is.

I drafted him in two leagues as my sleeper, but dropped him after a few weeks. Not sure how much tonight is an anomaly. The fact that it's happening in a game where Maclin has been invisible suggests that it may be. After all, it's not like you can count on Maclin going 3/38 every week. I suspect that they may have just seen a match-up they felt they could exploit.

On the other hand, I'd say this clearly suggests he has supplanted Cooper, and WR2 on a high-powered offense is nothing to sneeze at.
