Just three touches the past three weeks. What has changed?
TJ Yeldon in a boot
I honestly thought you were insane when you posted this but then I did the research and saw where there is basically nobody else that is remotely healthy in that backfield. Add in the short week and I think you at least get a starter for the short term and he should get a decent amount of carries. I am absolutely bare bones now at RB and will keep an eye on this.

DGB. I realize it hasn't happened yet for this guy, but Justin Hunter is out for the year, Kendall Wright still isn't back, and the next 3 games are Jac/Oak/Jac. Carolina was just a bad matchup and hard to judge current standing based on that game.
Is DGB still too raw? Is Harry Douglass the sneaky deep league pickup then?
Harry Douglas has received a ton of snaps and targets this year and has done next to nothing with them. He makes Davante Adams look efficient.

DGB is the play IMO.

Agree. Both have low floors, but DGB has a slightly better ceiling in week 10, imo.

I'm 5-5. 12 Team PPR Redraft League.

I have Luck/Hasselback and Eli/Nassib (we start a QB and his back backup in case the started gets hurty/pulled during the game).

With Luck out for awhile and Eli on a bye this week, would you recommend I drop Luck/Hasselback or start Hasselback week 11? We can only maintain 4 QBs (2 starters and their respective backups).

On the Waiver Wire:

Romo

Cousins

Mariota

Flacco

Of those four, which one would you recommend, if any and who had the best SOS the rest of the season?

Thanks,

HH

My league at WR has DGB, Crowder, Moncrief and Shorts

Thinking Moncrief is best for me, followed by DGB but a goose egg this week even though he had a bunch of snaps is concerning

My thought as well. He may be taken before I get to him. If so, how would guys rank these guys?

Is Amendola worth a #1 waiver?
He would be for me if he were actually available in any of my leagues. Not sure about y'all, but in my leagues, finding any WR who might be more than a mere low-end WR3/4 at this time of year is extremely rare.
Its a redraft league
Yes. Amendolais worth a 1 waiver wire claim.

Sad that I am going to have to snatch up a waivered Russell Wilson. I am the kiss of death to a starting qb. Drafted Romo. Traded or picked up Tyrod Taylor, Foles and Bradford. Traded away two healthy but terrible qbs in Stafford and Alex Smith.

Been rolling with Brandon McManus, think it's time for a change.

Cairo Santos looks like the best Plan B at this point.
Well he's had two monster games, which in our format accounted for 48 points. He's had 46 in the other seven. If you're looking for boom/bust, go for it.

Most weeks Santos = Bailey. Reliable IRL but lack of FGAs holds him back.

Those two are on my wire along with Catanzarro. I'm gonna hold another week & see how things shake out with Osweiller.

Hasselbeck as a one week starter for those in need of one (Ben, Brees, maybe Bradford or Peyton owners).

Like the matchup vs Atl. Expect Atl to score enough to keep Hassel passing late into the game. Decent weapons, indoors. For me (I own Ben and Brees) I am leaning toward him for this week vs Sanchez at home vs TB - although its real close. I guess in my mind the game script favors Hassel over Sanchez as I dont know that Philly will still be throwing late into the game. if they are it likely wont be because TB is lighting it up, but rather because Philly hasnt scored enough to pull away.

The RB free agency cupboard is bare as. My RB corps is so depleted I am debating between Kyle Juszczyk and Jamize Olawale (or perhaps both). Heck, I can't even pronounce their names, but they may be my Week 11 PPR starters. :wall:

Probably better to work a trade before your deadline if you need help instead of working the waiver wire, which is probably picked clean.

Had to start James White this past week because I lost Forte and Lewis in consecutive weeks. Praying that Forte is back this Sunday, but just in case I'm putting in a claim for Shoelace and hoping that Yeldon sits.

Otherwise, I may target Crowder, although I don't think he has a ton of value in non-PPR leagues.

We're in the same boat. My post on the first page listed Rod Smith, Glenn Winston, Trey Williams, Spencer Ware, etc. I may throw Jonathan Grimes into consideration as well. Blue just looks awful, and Grimes is already getting all the passing game work. They just didn't trail at all last night, but at some point you have to wonder if Grimes starts getting more work... even at his current workload, he's mostly helpful in PPR with the receptions and 3rd down draws and the like.

This is the exact position I'm in. About 90% of the players mentioned in this thread are owned in my league (other than the QBs).

Blue is indeed awful. Very poor vision, slow feet, runs with a lot less power than his frame would suggest. I've paid attention to Grimes ever since he was on the Jets (It's Grime Time!) and at this point I'm really confused as to why he hasn't gotten more work in Foster's absence. He's actually quite athletic and can actually pick up yards after contact. Out of all the aforementioned RBs, I think he stands to gain the most even if there isn't an injury to the "starter".

It's his fourth stint with the Texans. While Foster has obviously been the guy for some time, clearly neither the former or current staff thinks that Grimes is good.

That said, if Alfred (don't call me Vida) Blue and Chris Polk are the only obstacles to meaningful playing time, that's not so bad of a situation. And he seems adept in the passing game - last night may have been an anomaly for the team, which may likely need to continue throwing the ball a lot more going forward.

I've been doing the same and I'm worried as well. But with the news that Peyton has been injured and that Osweiller has been named the starter, I think we're looking at more FG attempts on an offense that will likely stall at midfield often.

I'm holding pat for another week to see what this offense looks like with Oz.

I fully agree. A lot of people don't know how good Norman is. He shuts people down!
Do you like DGB, Moncreif or Crowder more as a pickup this week? DGB is so raw I feel like value he has is more in dynasty... I've been on and off his train a few times this yearDGB and Crowder are names thrown around here for the picked over WW crowd and in my league there's Moncrief... Trying to prioritize them

Yeah, me too --I'm hoping it will be the same setup (offense can move but stalls a good bit) - but this time with a green, but agile QB vs ailing Peyton --

I am also among the RB deperate this week. I am gonna go for Draughn and hope he can get me 8 pts with some receptions mixed in.

Any Broncos 2nd string WRs that might have a rapport with Osweiler ? Latimer ? He had 6 targets against the Chiefs
Latimer definitely had rapport with Osweiler in the preseason - but I wouldn't read too much into his 6 targets this past week. That was essentially junk time and I suspect the coaching staff was just getting him reps. Wasn't Emmanuel Sanders also a bit banged up?

I'm RB desperate, too. I must choose to either pick up (and start) a likely turd or pick up (and start) my RB1's handcuff. At this point, the insurance is probably worth more than a few measly points I'd expect from these turds on my WW.

http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_29122121/emmanuel-sanders-limited-against-chiefs-suffered-hard-hitsBroncos receiver Emmanuel Sanders did enough to convince trainers he could play, but maybe he shouldn't have. Sanders was visibly hobbled and limited by his ankle injury for much of the game against the Chiefs on Sunday. He was targeted four times, including on Peyton Manning's second interception, and had no catches. On his last target, Sanders was hit hard by two Chiefs' defenders before being removed from the game with a concussion.

Speaking of handcuffs, I am seriously considering starting Rawls as they play 49ers at home and he may get more carries than usual. Risky proposition though. My only other choices are pick up Draughn or start White.

Both Michael Floyd & John Brown dealing w/ hammy issues (Brown has posted 0's the last 2 Cards games), is someone like Jaron Brown worthy of a precious roster spot? That Cards passing offense shows zero signs of being slowed by anyone other than their own defense scoring to put games out of reach early.

Ajayi is someone I am targeting. Fresh legs and flasing huge playmaking abilities. He would probably need a Miller injury to be more than a flex start, but I have to think he sees 8-10 touches per game.

David Cobb might be another rb to target. Andrews was fairly pathetic last week......he should see some carries this week, and perhaps he flashes.....worth a shot.

These are the FA RBs available in my league, and how I rank them:

Ajayi

Tevin

Hyde

Ellington

Lacy

Todman

Ware

Guys I'm not interested in:

Denard

Rashad

McFustercluck

I have to drop Edelman, and the available WRs are all mediocre. I think it makes sense to grab an RB lottery ticket instead.
