Week 12 2025 who should I start thread **OFFICIALLY UNOFFICIAL** (8 Viewers)

Ugly-Gross TE start help needed here fellas. Lost Kraft in a deep roster dynasty, not much to choose from.

TEP

Brock Wright v NYG
David Njoku @ LV (Likely OUT, but maybe)

I'm patiently waiting, and hoping that Waller comes back and is useful at some point.

FA's available you ask? Sure. But I'd have to make a tough drop, but here they are:

Taysom Hill v ATL (Taysom has a sweet tooth for ATL)
Darnell Washington @ CHI
Jackson Hawes @ HOU (I have Josh Allen)

Thanks. I realize this is NOT easy to help with, but any thoughts are appreciated.
LOL uhhhhhhhhh...

No earthly idea but, did you see this CRUSH ALL ENEMIES...

Washington>Puny TEs

yea .. that ones tough. I DID see him crush all enemies. That would mean i need to drop someone for Washington. And it might have to be Dulchich or Brock.

ROS? You think Darnell "crusher of bodies" is better than ... lets say Dulcich?

Standard Scorring + PPR

Question # 1
QB = Dart or Brisset

RB x2 = Henry, Judkins, Javonte Williams, Aaron Jones, Travis Etienne

TE = Warren or Kittle

Flex = any player from above not selected

Question # 2 (same scoring structure as above) The options SUCK.

Pick 2: Singletary, Warren (If active), Pollard, Spears

Thank You
I like Dart at QB. Just trust him more than Brissett.

At RB, I think Henry and Etienne are your guys there. Great matchups for both.

At TE, I think Kittle is an auto start with Purdy back.

Question on flex, is it a Superflex, if so, I'd start Brissett, if not, I'd start Javonte just barely edging out Warren.

Warren is an autostart if active. I'd say: Warren>Singletary>Pollard>Spears
Standard scoring non-PPR league:

Henderson vs CIN - we all know what he has done lately; we don’t know what the split will be with Stevenson; plus a great matchup

Marks vs BUF - Another juicy matchup and has taken over the backfield

Marks is probably the less risky pick, but the upside is with Henderson.

Daniel Jones vs KC - A tough defense but could be a shootout.
Jacoby Brissett vs JAC - regression coming after a record-setting game but has been on fantasy fire.

Thoughts?
Even with Stevenson back, I'm not sitting Henderson against the worst run D in the league.

I like Jones over Brissett. Regression has come for a lot better guys than him, and Jags aren't likely gonna be up 20+ all day like SF was.
PPR league. Wondering if I have any alternatives to D. Schultz tonight who have locked down TEs. Think this game could be a slugfest too. Other options:

* J. Coker at SF -- TMac should get his and Legette banged up. SF was just roasted by the likes of M. Wilson and Brisset.

* G. Dortch vs JAX -- Went 6/61/1 last week alongside M. Wilson and T. McBride. Brissett is slinging it and the JAX secondary is a pass funnel. Demercado is out and Bam Knight still a little banged up.

* Hollywood Brown vs INDY -- THis is only if Worthy is out. Should be a high scorer.

* D. Hopkins vs NYJ -- Get right spot for BALT and Bateman is trending out. Not getting many targets but...well...this is a hail mary.

Stick with Schultz?

Also, I'm an underdog this week so willing to take chances.

Thanks
I'd stick with Schultz over those guys. None of them inspire any trust.
Here's one:
PPR:
Need a final flex:

T.Pollard vs Sea

E.Wilson vs Minn(pending J.Jacobs status)

D.Mooney @ NO( no London)
I'd go Wilson if Jacobs is out, and I'm expecting he will be.
Low-scoring league for QB's... 3 pts/TD pass, 6 pts/TD rush/rec, 1 pt/20 yds passing, 1 pt/10 yds rush/rec (no PPR).

Dak vs PHI
OR
Dart @ DET (if he plays)

Same league...
Iosivas vs NE
OR
Doubs vs MIN
I'd go Dak over Dart in his 1st game back. Dallas will move the ball against Philly.

I'd go Doubs easily. I just don't think Iosivas is any good. I think its just as if not more likely the increased volume from Chase out, goes to Brown or the TEs.
One more. Half PPR and typical scoring otherwise (6 pts/TD and 1 pt/10 yds rec). Pick 2 of 3....

Pittman @ KC
McMillan @ SF
DK @ CHI

McMillan has been hot lately and I expect CAR to have to continue to throw some to keep up. I would usually go with Pittman as well, but DK's matchup looks way better on paper.
I'd sit Metcalf. He's got either a banged up Rodgers or Rudolph at QB, and the Bears D is healthy now. I'd argue its a much harder matchup than SF.
Defense question:

* BALT vs NYJ -- Balt D improving but in no way dominant. T. Taylor starting. That may be an improvement. No G. Wilson so I'd think scoring could be tough to come by.

or

* LV vs CLE -- LV D is by no means a good D, but they're at home and facing a CLE offense starting S. Sanders. Could be a classic trap D selection...or a bonanza.

Which?

Thanks
I lean the Ravens here, just because they are an actually solid defense, where the Raiders its all matchup. That's more likely to backfire, though I have both in my top-5 this week.
Standard Scoring non-ppr league:

I need to start 2 of these players:

Chase Brown vs NE - Has done very well recently with limited touches; may be involved more this week with JC out of the lineup
Travis Etienne vs ARI - Assuming he plays; he gave way to an equal share to Tuten before he was dinged up; then carried the load to a 2-td performance. Has been fairly consistent this year but no one feels good about it; I've left him on my bench several times when he has scored meaningful points.
Olave vs ATL - Target and yardage have been there so he has a decent floor; It's only when he scores a TD that he is valuable in a non-ppr;

Thoughts?
Non-PPR, I sit Olave. Too big of a workload for the other 2.
One more:
FFPC scoring:
Which QB:

J. Dart @ Det

S. Darnold @ Tenn
I lean Darnold here. Probably won't be a monster game, but a scenario exists where they want to get his confidence up after 2 turnover filled weeks. Dart feels riskier, until we know how much he'll run.
PPR Which Def

Balt vs NYJ
GB vs Min
Ravens, better matchup, and probably just better fantasy defense. GB kinda sucks as a fantasy defense, as has blown multiple good matchups.
Final Flex thoughts appreciated bros.

.5ppr

Michael Pittman @ KC
David Montgomery v NYG

Pittman has been great, I'm a little worried about the match up - although the Colts ARE coming off of their bye.
Monty has been underwhelming as of late, but the Lions need him to be more involved - plus its a great match up, and the Lions are typically dominant after a loss.

Thoughts?
I'm thinking this could be a Monty week. Lions should win big, so I'm thinking they pass to lead, and run to win, that's a Monty script if there ever was one.

Yikes, I guess I'd go with Wright, just off the idea that maybe he's wide open on PA.

He's definitely not worse than Dulcich and, he may have earned some more looks.

Ok. Lets assume Bucky is out ...

Christian Watson v GB
Sean Tucker @ LAR
Hmmmmmm... Wanna say Tucker but the matchup gives me pause.

Wanna say Watson but, five targets/game seems to be his ceiling in this offense. Which, I find completely bizarre

I lean Watson but, feel I may be biased as I roster him in League Uno.

If Irving is out, the smart move is probably to bank on the potential volume

Tucker>Watson

It's a tough one. Running well against Buffalo has been relatively easy this year. It also makes it tougher to translate to other games.

I’m on the fringe of making the playoffs and my projection this week is even. So every decision is crucial. I need a flex from these two. Full 1pt PPR…
Sean Tucker at Rams. No Bucky Irving. So, I know he’s gonna get the ball. Stout Rams defense. Could be rough.

Darnel Mooney at Saints. No Drake London. Complete coin flip with what we get from Cousins. Already had a game earlier this season same scenario. No London, Cousins qb. Mooney had one catch for 11yds. Obviously Sunday is a new day. Supposedly, Mooney is healthier.

Help!!!! Lololo. Thank you!!!!

Trade question. PPR league.

Who would you rather have ROS for playoff run...Chase Brown or Javonte Williams?

In one league, I've been offered Javonte for Brown and in another I'm thinking of offering Javonte for Brown.

* J. Williams -- Getting all the touches in a high powered offense. Schedule after this week: KC, @DET, MN, LAC, @WASH

* C. Brown -- Burrow coming back it would seem for the stretch run. He's been on fire with Perine out, but there's no guarantee that continues. Schedule: @BALT, @BUF, BALT, @MIA, AZ.

My eyes tell me that Brown's schedule is a tad more friendly.

Who would you prefer?

Thanks

Man... I see your dilemma.

Both have big risk. Tucker has four games with 10+ touches. Two amazing, one saved by a TD and 10-51-0 (including a reception for -2 yards).

But, it's hard to say Mooney has been better at any point. He had a monster game last year in OT 9-105-2 on 16 targets but, has a TD in 4 of 24 games over the last two seasons. I question of his realistic upside is much more than 6-7 receptions for 75 yards. Maybe a 20% TD chance.

Not sure Tucker's upside is much better against the Rams. And, I don't love chasing points.

It's full PPR, so Mooney probably has the safer floor.

They both play in the afternoon/evening timeslots so, since it's a must win game for you, I would wait until the early game scores are in and decide if you need more ceiling or floor.

Ceiling
Tucker>Mooney

Floor
Mooney>Tucker

Brown's schedule is more friendly, IMO.

I think it's a good choice to have. I think Brown is the bigger risk because his touch volume has high variance, Perine is unlikely to play week 12 but, he's not on IR. Also, Brown hasn't really found the end zone much. He only 4 TDs, compared to 9 for Javonte and, Chase has a TD in 2 of 10 games, Javonte has scored in 6 of 10 games including TDs in games against PHI, GB & DEN. Javonte also has far more stable touch count and the passing game is absolutely keeping defenses from crowding the box.

I would probably start Chase Brown this week. With Dart out, I don’t think the Lions will have to throw as much.

Even though Mooney seems to be a good situation this week he's done squat all year

FFPC scoring:
Need FOUR of the following:

A. Jones @ GB

J. Warren @ Chi (assuming he plays)

W. Robinson @ Det

X. Worthy vs Ind

D. Mooney @ NO

C. Watson vs Minn

Superflex league. 4 pts per passing TD.

Burrow or Darnold?

* J. Burrow vs NE -- Assuming he starts of course. NE easier thrown on vs. run on. Attack should be pass heavy potentially playing catchup.

or

* S. Darnold @TN -- Good get right spot. May not be much need to throw much here in a potential blowout, but I'd expect high efficiency and a decent floor at minimum with potential for some long/easy TD throws.

Which?

Thanks

PPR league. This is only if K. Walker is ruled out.

* Z. Charbonet @ TN -- Would be a smash spot for sure especially if SEA gets up big. What's his name (Hononi??) would get touches as well, but...

or

* C. Brown vs NE -- Burrow out. Not a good matchup for rushing stats at all, but NE does give up receptions to RBs. Would have to be counting on this and maybe 40 yards rushing ish.

Constantly changing my mind between Jaylen Warren, Sean Tucker and Judkins. .5PPR

Judkins has a great matchup. But the Cleveland O is a dumpster fire, and no involvement in the passing game.

Warren has a nice matchup. But Arthur Smith🤡 keeps pulling him in the red zone for Gainwell.

Tucker has a brutal matchup. But it could be a high scoring game with multiple goal line opportunities.

I'd like to go with Warren but I don't trust Arthur Smith. Warren has been very efficient all year but Arthur Smith has a love affair with Gainwell.

Various Steeler beat writers have been clamoring for Warren to be used more since he's been their best offensive player.
