The good news for Chargers backers is that at least we know they can stop them. It's just a question of whether it will be upheld. I was half expecting the Hester TD catch to be ruled incomplete somehow.

The last two years in a row I spent a relatively high draft pick on Gates, and I used to curse and ask the same question all of the time. This year I avoided it. I'm convinced there is no such thing as an "elite" tight end. Even the very best have far too many games with very few receptions.
