Week 12 Waiver Wire (1 Viewer)

Shallow dynasty owners that might have given up on Dion Lewis, now might be a good time to pick him back up.

Going to be a busy week on waiver wire.

Bryce Brown

Bilal Powell

Justin Blackmon

Chad Henne (don't know how useful with Bye Weeks done]

Hillman/Ball (Wouldn't be surprised to see Moreno re-enter the picture if McGahee's out long term & would allow everyone to remain in their current roles)

why is bilal powell an option? greene actually looked decent today and both powells tds came on third down in passing downs

What happened to McCoy?
Concussion

others...

Danario - obviously

Mark Ingram - he's looked good for the 3rd straight week now. tho sproles looms (not a threat to runs tho)

Russell Wilson - don't forget about him after the bye

Henne - now the starter and add in last week...

Edelman

Hilton

Blackmon - drafted him, watched him, & he's looked nothing like he did last week; competing with LRob & Shorts on a pass-poor team?

1a. Alexander - good luck

Broyles

1?. Hillman - McGahee out 6-8, the job is all Hillman's?

1?. Ball - ... or is it???

Ingram

Bryce Brown - he's looked great as a pro, but is McCoy really going to be out?

Parmele - spam sandwich, enjoy

Hoomanawanui

Moeaki

Allen

Possibly known names available on WW:

Rudolph

Myers

Finley

Lewis

Keller

Prater

DST:

Titans @ Jax - maybe not if Henne starts?

Browns DST vs PIT - no Ben and now no Leftwich

(If not past deadline) Trade for: Hernandez (too late), Lloyd

[Edited]

[Assuming DX is too expensive or gone here but if he's not do whatever it takes to get him...]

Bryce Brown if McCoy will miss games should be the top claim, he's the real deal. I think Hillman and Ball will split touches pretty evenly if McGahee is out.

1. Cecil Shorts (most consistent WR on the Jags/Henne's looking decent, at least better than Rivers/Jags got a good ROS schedule for WRs)

2. TY Hilton (really coming on, with or without Avery. Got a plus matchup next week for WRs and no bad matchups ROS)

3. Justin Blackmon (Shorts without the track record yet - tho he doubled Shorts' targets in this one)

4. Danario Alexander (would rank him higher, but don't trust Rivers, or Alexander's knees)

5. Julian Edelman (more of a speculative add, to see if his role continues to expand with Gronk out)

1. Jalen Parmele (plus matchup next week, 3 down back, until MJD comes back. not a high ceiling but high floor)

2. Beanie Wells (got the starters job back next week. thought his matchups were tough, but actually not too bad when you look at the footballandbrackets site)

3. Mark Ingram (past 3 games, best he's looked. even when sproles comes back, expecting him to get bulk of the running plays. high floor guy right now)

4. Ronnie Hillman (wait and see on mcgahee MRI. if mcgahee is out, he might be the top add cuz of denver's plus schedule the rest of the way)

5. Bryce Brown (just for next week, wait and see on mccoy)

True, plus I think Powell got more work than usual due to the short week. Rex probably didn't want to overwork Greene with the Thanksgiving Day game versus the Pats.

I'll take a crack at some TEs if anyone is in need after losing Gronkowski:

Hoomanawanui - he was good in StL (for a bit) and he's looked good catching the ball when given the chance by NE

Moeaki - he's had 3 straight decent weeks, but of course he has zero chance of scoring

Dwayne Allen - yes, still

Marcedes Lewis - if Henne starts, vs HOU he was not unlike 2010 as he got few catches, few yards but 2 TDs

I think this is the week I finally blow my #1 waiver priority. Hillman, Brown, Alexander, Blackmon are all sitting there. Will be a tough call.

Seems like a lot is out there on the waiver wire this week. Here are my priorities this week;

Bryce Brown (McCoy owner)

Wells - fresh legs and decent week 15 matchup home against Lions

Hillman - still waiting on word on McGahee, and fear of time share with Ball tempers enthusiasm

Vereen - didn't see the game, but boxscore shows even split between him and Ridley

Blackmon

T.Y. Hilton

Just for the record, Gabbert did throw to Marcedes. Yesterday, Lewis decided to actually hang onto the ball.

Concussion in the 4th.
As a McCoy owner I dont even know if I want Brown as bad as the offense looks.
Well if you based the potential of an individual fantasy player's point potential on the W/L record of the team or its offensive rankings you would have missed out on a LOT of fantasy studs.Just off the top of my head, RB Jamaal Charles for Kansas City was on a 4-12 teams and the 23rd ranked offense when he got his shot a few years ago and has turned into a fantasy stud. Arian Foster was on a 6-10 team when he got his shot and turned into a fantasy stud. Peyton Hillis with Cleveland has been pointed out many times for his huge single season production on a bad team. Those guys were on bad, baaaaaaaaaad teams but they got a shot and turned into fantasy studs for at least one season and in the case of Foster and Charles it opened they've continued to be fantasy studs.Bryce Brown is on a bad team but he's getting a shot and lately he was starting to flash. Golden opportunity for a young rookie who may have some talent.Oh and I really like Justin Blackmon and he finally blew up yesterday. Obviously we can't expect that sort of production but his talent was always there and he had been getting opportunities but he needed a change at QB before he really had a shot to showcase what he could do. Bryce Brown hasn't even had an opportunity but he should get a golden opportunity so I think he's well-worth taking a shot on.

I will likely have to burn my #1 WW claim also - been sitting on it all year. I have McCoy and McGahee but no idea who will be the best pickup, if either of their backups. Guys like Parmele interesting as well - hard to ignore 24 carries.

Which one Is better to get bryce brown or beanie wells?
I like Beanie but the offense is REALLY bad. The line and qbs are probably the worst in the league. Although the Eagles don't look much better right now. I'd look at their schedules. One thing though, I wouldn't be sure Brown starts for more than a week until there's more news.

Brown > Hillman only because Ball is going to get touches.

Another to consider is Parmele for MJD could be out longer then expectations, Parmele did good against the Texan D.

I rented Ivory for Sunday and will look to drop him for Parmele.

Knowshon Moreno -- cost is 0. (Sure this could change in an hour if the Broncos sign someone off the street)

I feel more comfortable adding him with zero risk than blowing remaining waiver $$ on a guy in Hillman that I simply have zero confidence in running between the tackles

I just get the feeling there's a reason the Broncos kept him around for this very scenario.

1. Jalen Parmele (plus matchup next week, 3 down back, until MJD comes back. not a high ceiling but high floor)
24 carries caught my attention. Any guess as to how much longer MJD is out? They have Tennessee up next who usually gives up a good bit on the ground.

As a McCoy owner, do I pick up Bryce Brown or Ronnie Hillman?

I have the #1 waiver pick.

I will likely need start whoever I pick up this week, as my RB situation is horrible.... McCoy, MJD, F.Jones, Mendy, Dwyer and D.Brown

I also need to win the last two weeks to make the playoffs.

How's about the Browns' DST facing the Steelers with no Ben & now no Lefty?
Steeler fan here. Although Batch won't fare much better than lefty he usually doesn't turn the ball over. I'm pretty sure it will be a very low scoring game but just don't see batch turning the ball over much. Just my 2 cents hope it helps.
