Week 13 - Bragging Thread (1 Viewer)

I have been drafting Thomas Jones to early in FF drafts since 2004. He has been one of my favorite players, I have been waiting for this season for a long time.

warner 24 pts

CJ3 27 pts

TJ 30 pts

Fitz 19.5 pts

White 12.5 pts

Witten 18.5 pts

Miami D (meh) 12 pts

Carpenter 12 pts

155.5 pts. i like that output going into the playoffs.

The Broncos essentially locked up a playoff spot today with their win against the AMAZING BRETTS and SD's loss.

I also locked up a first round bye on one of my money leagues, and am now 4 for 4 in all of my leagues for the playoffs (including a first-place seed in another money league without byes).

It's been a great weekend!

YES!!!!!!!!

My streak of making the playoffs in every league I've ever joined continues (5th year running, and have won three of the 5. trying to make it 4 of 5 this year.). Thank you to ADP and C Taylor for the studly performances last night driving Chitown's D down to 0 pts.

Drew

CJ3

TJones

Fitz

Balt D (again)

9 TDs from these starters gives me a second playoff spot- $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Rare when I post in this thread...

McNabb

Westy

D. Williams

T. Jones

M. Colston (No TD? ;) )

L. Fitz

Also ran O. Daniels, TB D/ST, and Gould -- at least they all had positive points...

160 points-plus; league record high (4 year history)!

ETA: 11-2 Regular Season Record, already had the "One Seed" hogtied prior to this week...

Slaton's huge 4th quarter gave me a huge come-from-behind win in the Gladiator league I am in, giving me an outside shot of still making the playoffs if I can go 3-0 next week (we play three games a week) and get a bit of help. My team has scored the 3rd most points, but I have had some bad luck. My starting lineup is:

Cutler

Slaton

J. Stewart (was Graham before he got hurt)

Owens

Colston

Calvin Johnson

DeSean Jackson (as the flex)

Gonzalez

Prater or Kasay

NE or Car defense

Also, in the family league I play in, I clinched first place for the regular season tonight. I will be the number 1 seed when the playoffs start week 15. It being only an eight-team league, my starting lineup is:

Cutler

McNabb (we start two QBs)

D. Williams

Chris Johnson

Bush, S. Jackson or Jones-Drew

R. Moss

Jennings

Marshall

Cooley or O. Daniels

Kaeding

This is my 3rd season playing FFB. My record has been as follows:

2006: 4-10

2007: 6-8

Right now I'm 8-4-1 and I locked up my division tonight even though I lost. I have a 1.5 game lead and it's only 1 regular season game left to play.

5 leagues. High Scoring team in all 5.

Locked into playoffs as a division winner or top seed in all.

2 teams still have this week to finish regular season.

16 team, 16 team, 14 team, 14 team, 12 team.

Though my worst record (8-5) is in my main league.

Down 92-0 after Thanksgiving games, stormed back to win 125-103 and lock up the division.

Oh, and my sig.

Congrats on the subscriber contest. I thought I had the right strategy this year, but bit it hard during the bye weeks. As for me, in only my second year as a fantasy owner I have won my division, won highest-points total for the year, won 4 weekly high-points totals and secured the #1 seed and a bye for the playoffs. Plus got a shout-out from Lammey on the Audible this week. Life is good.

Made the playoffs for the 5th year...out of 5 years playing. Very pleased for this year since my draft turned out horrible, but the season was salvaged with some good WW pickups. Also pleased because the consensus after the draft was that it was the most balanced draft in recent memory; No 2 or 3 teams having lousy drafts that we knew would boost the others' win totals. Making the playoffs amongst a stronger group of teams feels more satisfying.
