Week 13 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

With Colston out, had to decide between Wilford and Kennison (who started for me the past four weeks) to fill in. Picked Wilford and missed the playoffs because of it. :X

And WTF with the Chiefs? 4 offensive TDs and none to LJ?!?! What are the odds?

I have suffered James' lack of production all year. I also traded T.J. Housh for Travis Henry and Joe Horn and started both of them. Oh yeah, I sat down Reggie Bush for Henry. So T.J + Bush would have been ~75 points (my normal starters) and Henry + Horn gave me ~ 12

 
for the second time this season, i played the guy who had the Bears D/ST. the first time i played him was the Chi/Ari game. lost by 2. then yesterdays game. i was clinging to faint playoff hopes (14 week regular season). instead i lose by 4 (josh browns 50 yarder didnt help either)

 
I got eliminated from making the playoffs this week 131-89. The guy that beat me brought a magazine to the draft and shot darts until it was his turn to pick. Meanwhile, I have the most up to date FBG's VBD cheatsheet and I'm concentrating on every pick. He ends up with Palmer, S-Jax, KJ, Fitzgerald, Housh, A. Johnson and Gates - AND HE WASN'T EVEN FRIGGIN' PAYING ATTENTION.

I spent hours researching who should sit out of Coles, R. Wiiliams, or Evans since I knew I had to win. In the end - it didn't matter since all 3 sucked.

Anybody that doesn't think a large part of fantasy football is luck, is the one getting the good luck. This is by far the worst year I've had in 10 yrs of fantasy. :thumbdown:

Had a decent team scrapping for a playoff with guys like Romo, Coles, Willie P, etc. I also have Josh Brown who outscored every other position by at least 10 pts. Not Good.

I've got another one too, in a different league. I started Chris Henry (goose egg) and sat Chambers (120+ RecYds). Ouch. But to tell the truth I was trying to tank that game for the preferred playoff spot anyway. I hope I pick the right starters when the playoffs start this week. Which means I'm probably going to avoid Henry and Winslow and possibly end up back here venting again.
 
I need 30 pts from S. Smith 2- nite. However, DWill would have started for me in place of Maroney had I known Foster was out. GD!!! I could win easily...instead I will miss the playoffs barring a miracle. Pissed off.

 
I needed Smith to outscore Key & LJSmith by 19 to win a bye. Obv wasnt expecting much but before that last Key TD I was down 10 and had some hope :cry:

 
Saturday night :banned: , came back in the early AM to send in my lineup. As a Bears homer I put in Rex and took out Romo :wall: :bag: :wall: Wife woke me up early sunday to go shopping and did not get back in time to check what I had submitted. :rant:

Just lost by 6 :hot: , Romo outscored Rex by 9 :X . :wall: :wall: Win would have put me in 2nd. With the loss I drop to 6th :angry: and need alot of help to get back in the money.

 
Eagles defense Fantasy football wise and in real life... suck monkey balls. Can't even score an AVERAGE point total to give me a win and a regular season championship. I wonder who the Eagles are going to draft in the first round... hopefully soemone who can GET TO THE %$#@#$ Quarterback! because they are a bunch of pansies NOW! My 2 year old nephew could do better.

 
The trio of Anquan Boldin, Greg Jennings and LJ Smith got me 4 points.

Lost by one. Second one-pt loss of the season. Have now played in the league's top-4 highest scoring games of the season. Record in those 4 games.....1-3.

 
League 1: Needed 30 out of Westbrook and Smith to clinch the Division, take 10% of the pot and #2 seed whcih comes with a first round BYE:

They SCORED 29 Yes Frigging 29. I missed out by 2 freaking yards. Now I am the number 5 seed and I get to face off against LT.

Second League: Need one win to clinch a playoff spot. Week 12 Joseph Addai destroyed me with 61 points lost by 4. Week 13 Harrison goes off for 48 and i lose by 2 oh yeah Kennison was on my bench. Now I get to go home :(

I am ready to JUMP!

AT LEAST LET US KNOW WHOS OUT, OR PLAYING BY KICKOFF!!!! I had D'angelo Williams set to go all week, I needed to set lineup by Sunday kickoff, had to take him out for lack of definite news, played Kevin Jones, cost me the week and points....sucks!!!!! :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

 
In my PPR dynasty league, I needed to win this week to win my division. All three of my WRs were stopped at the 1 yard line. Holt tackled at the one, targeted twice - FG; DJax tackled at 1 - TD Shaun Alexander; DBranch reverse tackled at 1 - FG!

Of course, I lose by less than three points (we use decimals).
