Week 14 - Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

I'm starting before the games start.

Forced to play both KJones and Tater because I'm unsure about which Panther to play.

What a way to start the playoffs against the LT2 owner...

On Thursday I had Winslow (1 pt) and he had FWP (26 pts).

Plus I have to sit Colston not knowing if he'll play.

fn Drew-Jones-Fawcett-Major etc - Colt D you blow so bad it's sickening. I think most of the people on this board could start at RB and rack up yds against you.

whoo hooo, Henry with a whopping 8 carries at the half, thank you Fischer.

And thank you Kitna for getting progressively worse and worse each week as I start you. Now completely sucking vs one of the worst pass Ds around. You da man.

POSs.

In a league where I need to win this week (and I went against Willie Parker) my bench is blowing up. First Chris Henry and now Michael Lewis with the 84 yard interception return for TD. :wall: :wall:

i am on bye in all 6 of my leagues...anyone do anything special for the top 2 teams that are on bye to keep us occupied for the week? seems theres so much for the nonplayoff teams but nothing for us...

It seems as though there are fewer calls on offensive linemen than in years past. Anyone else notice this? I have seen replays where the lineman is beaten, has his arm across the chest of the rusher as the defender goes by him, pulls him down and nothing is called.

251 rushing yds in one half !!!!!!@ Are you f-ing kidding me !!!!@

Yes, I know the Colts have spent most of their payroll on offense, but something tells me this philosophy of Dungy to use anorexic players on defense isn't such a good philosophy. Any team that wants to run the ball can. Hell, if the Colts want to go cheap on defense, the least they could do is get a few average players who can stop the run. Some average heavier defensive players would do better than what they've got.

I drank the kool aid and played Fason, guess we all don't know anything until after it happens, especially as far as back up sleepers are concered. Not 1 Minn beat writer or insider knew Pinner would be significantly involved today??

this is really the first week I deviated from starting the obvious choice. Benching Fred Taylor. Oops. I hope Devery Henderson isn't a 3 for 40yd mistake.

Tom Brady suzxazz and so do all the so called sharks that said "how could you possibly start Garcia over Brady"

I started Thomas Jones over MJD........ :bag: I started Vick over Eli Manning :bag: same fargin league I am playing against FWP :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:
:wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:
On the bright side my opponent has almost 150 points with half his team still to play. He is going to post the highest 1 week score of the year by alot. Probable it wouldn't have mattered anyway - just have my big money league left.Must defend the crown there!

League one -

Had to replace Chester Taylor with Joseph Addai, who did squat while Pinner racked up 100+ yards and 3 scores. Also have to start gimpy McGahee... a healthy Taylor and McGahee could've been huge this week, and now I'm staring a first round loss right in the face.

League two -

After winning the scoring title and division in the regular season, losing Ronnie Brown hurt and watching Sammy Morris come up huge sucks. My team hasn't done much today, led by Brady's 75 yards against the Dolphins. Facing Parker, Betts, and Baltimore hasn't helped either... so, I'm facing a 2nd straight division championship and 1st round playoff loss.

And League three -

What can go wrong when you have a first round bye? I traded away my depth to get Chester Taylor for his awesome playoff scheudule. A serious looking inury to Kevin Jones looks like the icing on the cake.

I hate this game right now.

How many teams did Vick sink this weekend? Sign in here.
Its not over yet but any time you only get 6 points from the qb position the odds are against you. Maybe I can survive the Vick disaster.
Oh, that wasn't me..It was my oponent that had Vick today.....Thats ok, I have been doing everything I can to lose for several weeks now, and I think it's finally gonna catch up with me this week....So I believe that my oponent will survive his 10 pts from Vick...So, I started Addai AGAIN over Dunn....and the COLTS get clobbered...traded for Steve Smith? WHY.. I should have known that he would be outscored by my bench players.... Bryant, S Holmes.... :wall:  :hey: :wall:

We were all just plan out lied to by Minnesota. The matchup was perfect for Minn RB to crank out pts. Anyone owning Taylor would be starting his backup if they had him. Fason ran 75 yrds last week in replacement of Taylor when he got hurt. Fason was posted everywhere as getting his first start an hour before gametime when Taylor said he couldn't go. Your typical, starter goes down, backup comes in. Happens alot. Priest Holmes goes down, the LJ came... Mcgahee goes down, Anthony thomas is the starter, Taylor goes down, minn says fason gets first start. Then out of the blue... Pinner gets all start?? Just looks like a flat out lie from Minn at this point, unless Fason got hurt or something signing the national anthem...This "game" has enough issues with luck to then have to add teams plain lying to the mix... one would think Vegas would be alittle peeved to. They complain about the pseudo injury reports already...

Playoffs start next week and here I am already with my division clinched putting up 100+

and next week ill put up like 50 and lose

/cry

how does a team with Romo, LJ, Alexander, Gore, Holt and Coles as a starting lineup not make it past the 1st round og the playoffs...??

Unless Romo and Holt have huuuuuuggggge games it will happen!!!!

Un-f-ing-believable!

It is a good thing I had a 14 point lead, with 4 mins to go in the DEN-SD game. My opponent had LT, and now my lead is down to 1!

If I win, the regular season champ prize is mine. Lose and its gone.

Cutler is on my bench, and he might get cut for this on GP....

CHUCK

No bye's for first place in my main league. Went 12-1 during the season playing the 8th seed.

Partial keeper league so I have LT and LJ. Didn't start Holmes on Thurs hoping to hear more about Colston but started Moulds instead.

Opponent...starters are #3 WR Bryant Johnson and #2 RB JJones. First play from scrimmage in each of their games they put up 15 point plays.

Currently down 10.5 with Jones still running and only have Wilkins left tomorrow. Let's hope for a fumble and a benching for Mr Jones.

YAY nothing better then watching my team ( missed playoffs ) score 100+ points again ( past 4 of 5 weeks now ) while the team ahead of me ( won the wildcard ) was 8-5 with the 2nd FEWEST POINTS FOR....

even worse is my score would have beat anyone i was up against.

This was my team

Palmer

Parker & Freddy T: McGahee, Turner, Lundi, Foster

Chad & Glenn: Edwards, Henderson

Heap: Daniels

Kaeding

Miami D

ended up 5-8

I have Jones-Drew and Brees on the team that has a bye this week. The one that is in the first playoff round I have Javon Walker and Romo. :wall:

Started season 4-2

Finished season 5-7 and missed the playoffs.

Now I'm playing in Toilet Bowl and the losing team gets renamed by the league, sounds like fun for me.

My starters: Brady/Barber/C.Taylor/Holt/S.Smith/LJ Smith

I can't beleive that this roster is going to finish the season 6-9 and be renamed. Just goes to show you that anything can and will happen in FF.

I HATE DREW BREES!!!

Had a 50 point lead heading into tonights game, he had Brees and Bush. Now Im done for the year. :wall: :wall: :wall:

Long time until baseball starts up again :kicksrock:

I listened to all the geniuses who rated Marion Barber ahead of Fred Taylor, Maurice Jone-Drew, and Julius ones, sitting the latter 3 in favor of a guy who "gained" -1 yard rushing for the night.

I listened to the geniuses who said Willis McGahee was too risky a start, and the ones who rated Owen Daniels far ahead of Vernon Davis.

The season's over for me.

Once again, I finish the season with a ton of points (2nd most) and will miss the play-offs by 1 crapping loss.....I always play against the team that happens to blow up the week I play them - my opponent this week had Brees.....sigh

Had to choose 2 QBs to start out of Peyton, Romo, and Hass and, of course, the one on my bench (Hass) would have given me my play-off spot....... :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:
