Week 15 2025 who should I start thread **OFFICIALLY UNOFFICIAL** (2 Viewers)

Win and I’m in the playoffs and lose and I’m out. 3rd highest point total but highest points against (by over a 100 points) so find myself 7-7. Simple decision- Baker or Darnold?

Both questions are for the same team.

4pts passing TD
Nix vs GB or Mariota @ NYG?

.5 PPR
Already starting Nico + AJB. WDIS as my WR3?
Diggs vs Buff
Sutton vs GB
M. Wilson @ Hou (assuming MHJ is out)

TE : T.Warren with no Daniel JOnes but good Matchup or Fanning?
leaning torwards Fannin right now. This week's match should be neck and neck.

TE : T.Warren with no Daniel JOnes but good Matchup or Fanning?
leaning torwards Fannin right now. This week's match should be neck and neck.
I am also debating Fannin @ CHI, which looks to be a pretty good matchup too

I'd say Fannin > Warren given all the uncertainty with the Colts offense

I’m going to need a few home runs if I have any shot of winning this week. First order of business is 2 RBs. PPR with bonus points of TDs longer than 40 and 50.

Monangai vs. CLE
Hampton @ KC
Jeanty @ Philly

Then I’ll need a flex option I don’t choose at RB vs.

Vele vs. Carolina
Warren @ Seattle (Starting Kittle at TE)

1 PPR for WR/RB, 1.5 PPR for TE

Debating if I should keep my current lineup, which is:

RB2 Javonte Williams vs MIN
WR3 Christian Watson @ DEN
TE Jake Ferguson vs MIN
FLEX TreVeyon Henderson vs BUF

I have some tempting TEP bench options though that maybe should replace Ferguson and/or move into the flex over one of the RBs?

Harold Fannin @ CHI
Kyle Pitts @ TB
Isaiah Likely @ CIN (dream TE matchup)

I also have two very tempting WR kick returners since return yards count the same as rushing/receiving yards, making them absolutely elite options if they're returning kicks and recording even modest production in the receiving game, perhaps creating additional flex competition:

Chimere Dike @ SF
Rashid Shaheed vs IND

However, TEN was stuck taking touchbacks on all but one kickoff last week, and it's hard to get a read on SEA's return game

But I'm also scared of Surtain covering Watson

PPR League. A Mike Evans question.

Activated off of IR and looks like he'll be playing tmrw night. Who knows how much, but Baker has been struggling and I'd think he'd be welcomed back with some targets, maybe in the endzone.

Understanding the options below, do you sit Evans for any of them?

* D. Vele vs CAR -- CAR not bad on pass D. Vele been getting some targets. Game indoors.

* A. Pierce @SEA -- Terrible matchup, in Seattle, looks like some weather, and it's possible P. Rivers starts. Ooof.

* RBs C. Rodriguez/K. Monangai/B. Corum -- A bunch of TD dependent RBs although each of them have been finding the endzone and success.

Start or sit Evans?

Thanks

Any love for the IDP guys in here? Have a DB dilemma ...

TK 1pt per, 3pts for 10+
AS .50
PD 1pt
INT 4pt
FF 3Pt
FR 4pt
Sacks 3pt

MY options:

Kyle Hamilton @ CIN
Nick Emannawori v IND
Tre'von Moehrig @ NO

No worries if this is out of your guys wheelhouse .. Just hard to find opinions on IDP starts around here

I'll @Hot Sauce Guy ... maybe he has some thoughts.

Thanks bros

Playoffs time! TE Question (Full PPR)

B. Strange (Jax) v NYJ
or
H. Henry (NE) v BUF

Dak vs Minnesota or Dart vs Washington? 6 points per passing TD.

Funnily enough, @Golden Gopher asked the same question. Answer for you both: I'd be rolling with Dart, especially if Lamb is out.

Henry will be more "necessary" ... IMO. Both good options, i just think there should be more points in the NE/BUF game.

Curious though, you recommend Dart over Dak, that's pretty bold, no? I have the Dak/Ceedee stack, so yea, if Ceedee is OUT it might make sense. But Dak has been lights out all year, even without Ceedee.

Playoffs baby!

Do I bench Caleb vs the browns and start Bryce vs the saints and nix vs the packers? I think so but really not convinced.

Do I dare start Evans (falcons) over Rome (Cle) or Ricky pearsall (titans)?

Different league, I think I start Evans over Alec Pierce vs sea and Teslaa (rams). ETA - just added flourney in waivers. Start him against Minnesota if Lamb is out?

TE- Warren vs Sea or Likely vs Cin

Flex- TE loser from above, Monangai vs CLE, CRod vs NYG, Pierce vs Sea, Odunze vs CLE

Ugh that Jones injury killed me

PPR league, I have Rice and Adams as starting WRs. I have two flex positions. Need to fill them

Jefferson at DAL
Diggs vs BUF
McLaurin at NYG
Gainwell vs MIA
I like Terry with Mariota back unde center in a plus matchup.

I can't believe I am saying this but, I'm tempted to say Gainwell. I just don't like his inconsistent touch ceiling.

JJ is tempting based on rep and a good matchup but, don't love anything else about him.

Diggs has very inconsistent usage but, if there's a game where he is going to pop, this is it.

McLaurin>Diggs>JJ>Gainwell

Need 1 WR in a non-ppr pls:

Egbuka vs Falcons
JMeyers vs NYJ
WRobinsin vs Commanders

TIA
I really like what Jakobi is doing in Jacksonville. He looks like their #1 WR.

Egbuka has been fading and I don't trust him.

Wan'Dale gets mad volume, I like him next but, it's not PPR so, he's probably closer to Egbuka than Jakobi.

Meyers>Wan'Dale>Egbuka

PPR RB decision. Current thinking is to go with a Jaylen in the Dolphins/Stealers MNF game dependent on Achane and match status, but any reason to start any of these ahead of them:

Corum v Lions
Montgomery @ Rams
Singletary v Commies
Charbonnet v Colts
If Achane is out, no.

If Achane plays... Really there is no way to parse between them so, I'd pick the guy on the team that looks most likely to win big.

Maybe Singletary gets decent volume...?

Charbonnet>Corum>Montgomery>Singletary

I can’t believe I’m asking this but:

Mahomes vs. Chargers
Dart vs. Commanders
I'd wait until we know the status of all three KC OL who missed last week.

If they're out, I think I'd go with Dart. That Chargers D is strong.

I might go with Dart regardless TBH. He's rushed for at least TD in 5 of his last six and six of eight starts. He has multiple TDs in seven of eight games

Dart>Mahomes

Need 2 WRs in PPR:

Evans
Reed
Boutte
Vele

Can also pick up Coker

TIA
Really? No matchups?

Evans seems like a good option. He probably wouldn't be playing if he wasn't ready and it's a must win for the Bucs. The matchup is good (I can't say for sure because it wasn't included) too.

Coker is also an interesting option but, he'll probably have to be efficient on low volume. Teams like to run on the...is it the Saints? I think so but, it could be someone else.

Reed has a low target ceiling. And a tough matchup.

Boutte has a nose for the end zone and a low floor.

I think the Saints offense runs through Olave & Neal. Not sure how much can be counted on from Vele any given week and, it's still a rookie QB.

Really tough call but, I think

Evans>Boutte>Coker>Vele>Reed

Win and I’m in the playoffs and lose and I’m out. 3rd highest point total but highest points against (by over a 100 points) so find myself 7-7. Simple decision- Baker or Darnold?
Probably Darnold because he's on a much higher scoring offense and, I don't expect much from the Colts. It could be a KWIII & Charbs day but, I think I back the players on the team I think will score more points.

Maybe getting Evans back tips the scales for Baker and, it's a fine matchup but, the Bucs really look like they've lost their mojo. And, I think this could be a run heavy game plan just as it might be with Seattle.

Darnold>Baker

M. Wilson @ Hou (assuming MHJ is out)
I might go with Mariota here. Nix is playing smart, winning football but, he's not playing great fantasy football. And, he's got a tough matchup.

Mariota seems good for 220-2 with 30-40 rush yards. Seems like safe money.

Mariota>Nix

If MHJ is out I roll Wilson against anyone. Too much volume.

If MHJ plays... I think I lean Diggs and hope he brings something special against the Bills.

leaning torwards Fannin right now. This week's match should be neck and neck.
Yeah, I agree. We don't even know who the starting QB is for the Colts. Maybe Rivers can do something? I actually believe in his upside (Antonio Gates does too) but, I don't know if I would want to bank on it five years removed from his last snap.

Fannin>Warren

Vele vs. Carolina

I like Monangai but, he doesn't seem like a home run player. Solid with a good chance at a TD but, not very involved in the pass game. His plus is the Browns got positively rolled on the ground by Pollard. Is that defense fading? There is an opportunity but, it's a risk.

No Jeanty. The Raiders best bet on offense is to kneel every down and hope the Eagles take pity on them. Maybe with Pickett under cent... No. Then again he is the only one without competition for touches... Ugh

Hampton is in a time share but, he was averaging 6 targets per game in the three games prior to getting hurt. But, he only played 31% of the snaps last week (Vidal saw 69%).

In a vacuum I would probably start Monangai at home in a game I think the Bears. And that may be the best choice regardless.

But, with a need for a monster game I can see going with Jeanty just based on volume. He would be my last option if everything is equal.

Looks like London has been ruled out so, Pitts is probably the right play at TE. Ferguson is a fine fallback if you want to wait and see if CeeDee is out (we should get a practice report before kickoff, he was limited yesterday IIRC) as are Fannin and Likely. But, Pitts is in line for the biggest target share ATM.

Pitts>Ferguson (if CeeDee out)>Likely>Fannin
=========================================

Dike will probably see a lot of kickoff returns. Not sure how the IND offense will look. If Shaheed returns punts he should have plenty of opportunities too.

Shaheed (if he returns punts)

Monongai is probably the only one I would consider. Vele is interesting but, I still think that offense runs through Olave, Juwan & Neal.

I like Evans enough in this situation. I think Wirfs is going to play and McMillian is back as well. This looks like a full strength Bucs offense for the first time in two months. I think Evans is worth the risk.

Sorry, I am completely unqualified to answer this question.

But, I try to answer every question so...

Hamilton>Emannawori>Moehrig

Sure, why not?

Team Defense thoughts ...

Dallas v MIN (SNF)
KC v LAC
PIT v MIA (MNF)
It is difficult to trust DAL but, they are playing better overall and it looks like a good matchup.

PIT needs this win to stay ahead of BAL, they're at home and Tua throws picks in bunches and fumbles quite a bit too.

I don't want to predict KC/LAC.

It's close and, a risk but I think

DAL>PIT>KC

H. Henry (NE) v BUF

Dak vs Minnesota or Dart vs Washington? 6 points per passing TD.

Funnily enough, @Golden Gopher asked the same question. Answer for you both: I'd be rolling with Dart, especially if Lamb is out.
I really like Henry's usage over the last 5 games with 32 targets. He's second on the team overall in targets and TD receptions. It's a plus matchup too.

Strange has also become pivotal since coming back with a similar target share (15 in 3 games). He is definitely a good option but, I see this game as more likely to be a rout and possibly ETN/Tuten heavy.

Henry>Strange

Baker at home tomorrow night against the Falcons or Dak at home against the Vikings? 4 points per passing TD
I am coming around on Baker this week. Full strength offense for the first time in months (Wirfs, Evans & McMillian all back), this could be a nice game.

That being said, Dak has been great with and without CeeDee (I think Lamb plays personally but check today's practice report). He has a better floor and as good a ceiling as anyone.

I think they are both good options

Dak>Baker

Playoffs baby!

Do I bench Caleb vs the browns and start Bryce vs the saints and nix vs the packers? I think so but really not convinced.

Do I dare start Evans (falcons) over Rome (Cle) or Ricky pearsall (titans)?

Different league, I think I start Evans over Alec Pierce vs sea and Teslaa (rams). ETA - just added flourney in waivers. Start him against Minnesota if Lamb is out?
:oldunsure:
I'm bearish on Nix. He has 1 total TD or less in 8 of 13 games, including each of his last four. He has put up 4 total TDs twice and three twice and 2 once but, that feels like forever ago. This game may require more passing because the Packers can score but, this also feels like it could be a defensive slug fest.

Caleb hasn't been special for fantasy he has three games with 0 TDs and two with just 1 total TD. But, he also has three games with 3 TDs and five with 2 TDs. He is running well and, he doesn't have a great defense to bail him out. For me he is your best QB this week.

I can see starting Bryce too. My principle concern is the Panthers run all over the Saints. It's close between Nix & Bryce...

Caleb>Bryce>Nix
===================================
I'm fine risking it on Evans. Rome has tapered off a lot since his hot start and Pearsall hasn't done anything all year. Both could be great but, I like Evans and the full strength Bucs O.

Evans>Rome>Pearsall
======================================

I agree with Evans over Pierce & Teslaa and, I can't trust Flourney. But, I have a feeling Rivers may start hot and fade in a couple weeks after his arm gets tired.

Evans>Pierce>Flourney>Teslaa

TE- Warren vs Sea or Likely vs Cin

Flex- TE loser from above, Monangai vs CLE, CRod vs NYG, Pierce vs Sea, Odunze vs CLE

Ugh that Jones injury killed me
Likely for sure. Great matchup and he has been knocking at the door for two weeks now. We don't know what the QB in IND looks like yet and it's a brutal road matchup.

Likely>Warren
================================

I like Monangai as your flex. He's been finding the end zone and getting consistent snaps and touches. It's a productive time share in Chi.

Monangai>Odunze>Warren>CRod

With Lamb questionable and probably not playing - I need a
💪

Evans tonight vs falcons
Jake Ferguson vs Vikings
Coker vs saints
Shaheed vs Colts

If I start Evans and Lamb plays, Lamb is benched.

PPR, TEP.
