Since there isn't one...

I can't believe that Javon Walker has the cajones to claim that he still deserves his contract after tonight. There is one big play WR in Denver and it ain't you buddy. Finally you start and what is there to show for it? 2 receptions for 20 yards! Never again will you see my lineup. Sadly, it will be in the third place game.

 
Gonna lose the playoffs due to bad weather.

dammt should have woke up earlier and put kitna and calvin in, probably get the same points :(

 
I'm on the wrong end of this Stecker coming out party. Luckily I've got Brady to counter the affect. I'm not out of it, but I'll need some love from Westy, Witten, and a strong 2nd half from Fitz and Braylon.

 
I lost my Detroit Directv local Fox and CBS feeds about 45 minutes ago. It's not a satellite reception issue. After about 15 minutes they put a "No need to call us" message on the screen.

Are all the local cities out or just my city's feed?

 
Brady owner in one non$ league...going to lose after a year of domination, but not just QB, my WR's (no Moss for me) let me down the last couple of weeks

but my real vent:

EXCEPT FOR THE ONE LEAGUE WHERE I OWN NICK BARNETT, I PLAYED AGAINST HIM IN EVERY *#&* LEAGUE THIS WEEK! 13 tackles and 2 sacks :confused:

And my opponent started Tampa defense. 36.11 pts. Most points by any defense this year.

Me thinks its time for me to find something else to do with my weekends. STICK A FORK IN ME!! I"M DONE!!!!!

This is the first time in a decade that I have not at least broke even. FFL is starting to cost me now.

 
last week my guys went off--too bad it was a meaningless game for me since I'd clinched a playoff spot. This week they've done squat, I'm going to be eliminated, and I've got that miserable feeling that I know I have to wait until the beginning of September to try this all over again... :goodposting:

Played the Vikings D instead of TB

Galloway and Welker? non-existent

Addai - nothing

Romo - horrid

I average about 120 points a week, right now I'm sittin' at 37. Consolation game, here I come.

 
As the topic says, the waivers closed at the start of last week's games... fine, I never complain about the rules.

Does anyone else have this rule in their league, where you can't pick anyone up until the off-season.

Mind you, this is a dynasty league.

I am in the consolation round and the toilet bowl winner receives an extra first round rookie pick at the 1/2 turn.

I also have no QB to start since Jason Campbell and Matt Schaub are hurt and Aaron Rodgers won't see the field.

 
With Watson out I picked up Alex Smith because he has been getting looks and Atlanta is horrible against TEs. What does he get me but 0 points! Nice job Tampa. I cant wait until they are knocked out in the 1st Round of the playoffs. Kinda like me! LOL!

 
i'm thinking: 22 carries, 365 yards, 3 td, 3 receptions, 70 yards, 1 td, 3 returns, 101 yards, 1 td. vikings win 34-28 in overtime.

... all that and i'll win by 1 point.

 
Romo is killing my perfect season. 13 - 0 in a competitive money league, and I am about to lose thanks to the Romo/T.O. combo playing so terribly today.

Good news is that several other Stud QBs didnt have great weeks.BradyAndersonPalmer - decent game
 
Had a big day from the Tampa D to get ahead of my opponent (who is now done), so Romo/TO tanking is more of an academic curiosity. But it is weird.

Do we have the same team? :thumbup: (Same frustration with Chad, Vikings over TB, Galloway, Addai, and even Gates dropped a TD)
 
what an absolutely mind-boggling day of FF. Some of the best players this season are just totally laying eggs. It ALMOST makes me feel better as I watch my season go down the toilet...

 
Owned my league for basically the whole season. Went 11-2 had the highest score by some 300 points and had a first round bye in playoffs last week.

Semi-finals week....all my studs lay a huge egg (or are in the process of laying one)

Brady, Westbrook, TO, Winslow, even fricken' Josh Brown! The only players that had a decent week are Jamal Lewis and Brandon Marshall. There goes $500 bones.

 
This has to be the worst week that I have ever had in 10 years of playing FF.

Romo - currently 3 pts

S Young - 3 pts......thanks Shanahan.

R White - 1 pt........thanks.

Gates - 1 pt.......thanks for another egg.

While Romo is laying an egg, all his yardage is going to Witten, who I am playing against.....he has 21 pts so far. I had 3 WRs that were gametime decisions, as well as Gates....my backup was O Daniels, and he played Thurs. Playing against Tomlinson, who had 26 in one half.

I had a great team that scored between 111 - 167 for 14 straight weeks........only have 71 when it matters the most.

 
My opponent has Hasselbeck, Chad, Gates, Rudi, so I think, I'm fine. Then Romo and Owens decide to take the week off.

 
I had the pleasure of starting Brady, Galloway, Owens, and Pitt D (minus 11 points in my league today). Had my worst performance of the year by far. What a way to go out this season.

I was worried about having to put Fargas and Stecker in my lineup today and they were my two best players. Go figure.

 
as of right now in my yahoo money league (semifinal):

romo = -9.92 points

addai = 8.35 points

dallas clark = 0.95 points

still up by 6 points heading into monday night's game. he has adrian peterson (min) vs. bears. it's been a fun season. goodbye money.

p.s. thanks jessica simpson, for making romo do things that hurt his thumb.

I came back to get a response and what?Why the hell is this in the venting thread now? It is a question.Why the hell would I vent when I am going to win without a QB? The mod that did this = ::eat my #### when their is #### on it::Get it over with, ban me dooshbags...
 
I'm numb right now.

Had Romo and Owens left, also playing against Dallas D/ST. A score and any completion from Romo to Owens would've sealed it.

As a football fan, Westbrook's lay-down makes sense and was 100% the right thing to do....

Doesn't change the fact that he just DESTROYED me. :goodposting:

The Good News: My kicker, Jason Hanson, scored 7 points.

The Bad News: My kicker, Jason Hanson, outscored all 3 of my WR's (TO, Welker, Bryant Johnson), my TE (Gates), my QB (Romo), and my Def (Denver).

My team, which averages almost 135/week, has all of 26 pts with only Adrian Peterson and Jacobs left. I'm only down 50 and he only has Cooley left, so I guess anything is possible, but.........

4 teams out of 6 leagues in the playoffs, both teams that started last week lost (with similar performances) and both teams lost this week (other team had Garcia, Galloway, Winslow, McGahee, TO, LT, Ryan Grant, among others)

Last week I beat the 13-0 team and this week I'm pretty much shut out. I need 39 points and have Berrian tomorrow night, I don't think so.
