Lost ARod and Antonio Brown and playing against Gurly and Freeman

Starting Gillislee over K.Williams lol

Funny. I’m debating this too. I feel like gilly is almost a certain lock for a few goal line rushes and a TD.

I just picked up Kwill’s backup. He averaged 4.5 per carry after KWill went down with the quad. If KWill is out, I’ve got a starter.

Gillislee seems pretty desperate though it could pay off.

i tend to go for the higher floor in situations like this, and “Glee’s” floor would seem to be 0 points.

Im a bit too risk averse for that.

Oh wow. Never even considered penny. Dudes big and they play the G men. I like it. May start him over keelan

I was playing with the idea of picking up a number of mediocre maybe backs or receiving backs - but Penny seemed like the safest play. I’m guaranteed touches & he’s a bruiser. Imo he’d get 15+ touches including GL carries.

I’m pretty desperate at RB and even I couldn’t trust putting Gillislee in my lineup. Chance of a zero is way too high.  Although it would be fitting for him to start and end the season with 3 TDs

what is gillislees' role? lewis basically took his job... wouldnt burkhead being out lead to more james white?
Who knows with the Pats.  The past few weeks hasn't it been James White starting the game and getting the first 2 or 3 carries?

I think Lewis sees about 3-4 more touches as well as white..... but if Gillislee is active I see him being the goal line back....

I am sterting Dion Lewis and was thinking that if I couple Lewis with Gillislee I'm guaranteed the goal line work for NE, which is typically a lock for at least 1 TD per game, especially against BUF.

Hopefully some beat writers weigh in

You'd have to be pretty desperate or have some nads to start Gillislee.  Not saying it's impossible for it to work out, but hard to see him getting a lot of action.

Penny vs. the Giants or Bibbs vs. the Broncos?
That’s the choice I’m going to have to make as well. Giants are a softer match up, and Penny is more likely to see 15 touches. Diggs will still likely just be a receding back. I can’t see him being featurd  as a between the tackles runner.

May this point it’s all unknown because:

1. Perine’s injury being called “minor”, removal “precautionary”.

2. KWill not declared out yet.

Isn't this crazy, some of the names we're kicking around for RB2 or flex???  I agree with you, though Alfred Morris underwhelmed for me against the Giants a couple weeks ago.  I would rather be golfing than screwing around with this week's flex options!   ;)

For me it’s RB2

i lost Cook, Montgomery early & ive been scrambling with RB2s all year while running out a WR at Flex every week.

Somehow by hook or by crook ive managed to make the LCG, vanquishing the two guys who’ve beaten me in my previous 3 LCG appearances.

if I finally win one with Penny & Blake Bortles it’ll almost make sense.

The only reason I'm trotting out Gillislee this week... provided he's active, of course... is potential upside.  Almost anyone else has a higher floor.  But when you're in the league championship game against the owner of Kareem Hunt, Kenyan Drake, Alvin Kamara and Rob Gronkowski... and you've got very little... I'll take the upside of a guy who is rested, desperate to contribute, playing his former team (one that has a history of choking when playoffs are in sight) and on a potent offense.

So I'm starting him at RB2 over the likes of Bilal Powell, Elijhaa Penny, Wayne Gallman and Tion Green.  It's not like there's much else out there on the wire in a 16-team league... and I like Gillislee a lot more than James White, who only seems to get action when the Pats are playing from behind.

He's still might not even dress. BB could be more concerned with replacing Rex on ST than offense. Bolden might end up taking Rex's carries and some no name ST hawk is activated to replace Rex on ST.

Never underestimate how much emphasis BB puts on ST.

Revenge is a dish best served . . . . .

with backup players!       ;)

Bolden's only offensive work outside of a special teams role this season was in the dying seconds to kill the clock during their blowout win against the Broncos in Week 10.  I have to imagine he'd have been utilized somewhat more in that capacity if BB had any interest in using him outside of his dedicated special teams workhorse role.

I suspect Bolden's special teams snaps will see a similar spike to what they were in Weeks 3-6 when Rex was previously on the shelf with Lewis taking on the rest.  Whether BB is comfortable leaning so heavily on Lewis and keeping Gillislee as a healthy scratch with a playoff spot already locked up and Burkhead already beat up... well, I have my doubts on that front.  He clearly doesn't want to lean on James White as a rusher (no rushes in 2 weeks and nursing a bum ankle) and if Lewis got hurt that just leaves Bolden and fullback Develin (who has only seen the ball in passing situations).

He's gone into many games with Bolden as the number two. I'm not saying it's likely MG is inactive, I'm simply saying there is a real possibility so if anyone is starting him keep an eye on inactive list and have a Plan B.

Reports are that James white will sit and gilly will have an expanded role...... i am now Planning on starting gilly over Bibbs, penny, and keelan cole in my flex. Seems to be a no brainer. The bills revenge narrative only makes it juicier.

Yep literally the same boat.  Starting over Bibbs, Penny and Cohen.

Let’s do this fellas. Gilly coming full circle. Week 1 hero and now the potential for championship week hero.

For those still thinking Penny, KWIlliams is now going to play and DJ Foster will take the passing down work.  Penny will get some carries but to truly be helpful, he'd need Williams to aggravate an injury... which is actually possible since he has two.

Perine being active means I’m benching Bibbs and putting Gillislee in the lineup.  Oof.   Starting Gilly at RB2 over Bibbs, Miller, Ajayi, M Davis

:(

And to think I beat a team with both Bell and Gurley last week to make it to the finals!

This will be like Jonas Gray vs the Colts!  If we all believe in him like we believe in Santa Claus, it will come true!  Come on team FBG, let's do it!

Gilly Time!  We need everyone to get him in their lineups!  Wooooooo

Ended up benching gilly for cole but glad it worked out for the people that started him. Good luck to all!
