Week 2 "out of left field" surprise (1 Viewer)

shouldn't this thread be titled. "guys that I have to start this weekend and hope I catch lightning in a bottle with". Seriously...let's up the objectivity quotient a tad.
Well, sure. What else would you expect? However, I'm still feeling pretty good about Seneca Wallace at WR. That's has to be the deepest into left field as you can get for a fantasy starter. I've actually got other (and probably better) options to start this week (Fred Taylor or Randy McMichael at my last flex position), but I'm sticking with Wallace because it will make it more fun watching the game today rooting for him to do well. I gave up on caring about the wins and loses in fantasy a few years ago. Now its just more fun to watch my players on Sunday. If I win, great. If not, that's okay too. I have way more fun with it now.

Also from Seattle, WR Seneca Wallace.

:fingerscrossed:
So I missed the game today. Wallace got hurt in pregame. F me. I later read this note on the Tacoma News Tribune...
Seneca Wallace strained a calf muscle in pregame warmups, after they had turned in their inactive list. Both Holmgren and Matt Hasselebeck said that Seneca figured prominently in the game plan, and Seneca was going to get a lot of time at split end, and so it severely affected their play-calling. No timetable on Seneca's return yet. Holmgren said they have to go out and sign a couple of receivers tomorrow or Tuesday.
I'm wondering if a team has every been snake bit this badly at a singular position.Branch

Engram

Burleson

Payne

Wallace

Holy ####.

Leon Washington replaces a nicked Thomas Jones and posts respectable rushing (80) /receiving (50) numbers with a score.
or...the "I drafted this ####bag and he's rotting at the end of my bench I hope the starter gets hurt so he's worth something" thread
Love your contribution and insight. Snippy because you can't predict the future with 100% accuracy?
No, but the thread lost its purpose when everyone started posting the players that they were forced into playing from their benches.

Must be your imagination. I thought most people understood the "who comes out of left field to make you wish you played him" concept.
