Week 3 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

McCoy said after the game that it's a high ankle sprain
Another lie from him, just like him rolling on the ground acting like he was hurt. If it was high ankle he could not do most of what he did after the injury, just wants to make himself look tougher than he is.

I read that the Philadelphia enquirer misquoted him and he just said ankle sprain.
At least one article that initially said "high ankle sprain" later changed it to "right ankle sprain."

Gronk "unlikely to play"

Reggie Bush "not expected to play"

Fiztz, A Johnson, B Marshall playing

ESPN 2 injuries are scrolling across the bottom of scree

There is no thread on Daryl Richardson's status here. (fail)

Then I just read this:

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch cautions to "keep an eye on" Daryl Richardson (foot) in Sunday's Week 3 game against the Cowboys.
Per beat writer Jim Thomas, Richardson "did very little" in practice on Friday. He also had his foot in a walking boot Wednesday. Sunday could be an opportunity for Isaiah Pead to close the gap on Richardson in the St. Louis backfield. Richardson is merely just a weak flex option against Dallas this week. He hasn't impressed as a runner, though he has made plays as a receiver.

He was in a walking boot? How did I miss this? Seriously considering subbing in Trent for Daryl with this tidbit.

I just started on on this...definitely worried about it.

Steve Smith down and being attended to on the field.

ETA: Walking off under his own power, albeit gingerly

Andre Johnson came out earlier, something with his leg. Hasn't returned for the end of half 2 minute drive.

"Steve Smith exited Sunday's game against the Giants with a left hip injury, but returned shortly thereafter.

After being down for a few minutes, Smith walked off the field without much of a limp. Trainers put padding on his hip, and he reentered after a few plays."

Not having Richardson is going to kill me. Was there any advance notice of this?
There was something on rotoworld about his status posted about an hour prior to kickoff
not playing?

That was enough of a red flag for me

Finley has been ruled out for the rest of the game.
This guy is S-O-F-T. A giant big mouth with no body to back it up.
He took a hard shot to his head.
Ya, I saw it. Doesn't matter. It is always something with Finley.
Please. He got right up to run off the field but was so punch drunk he started to collapse and couldn't help but go down. had ne never tried to get up then sure, i'm with you. When your bell is rung not much you can do.

I'm far from a Finley fan, but it's always humorous when guys on a fantasy football message board call NFL players soft.
