I think I'm going Arizona, the Cowboys haven't really showed me anything and the Eagles can be turnover machines and Arizona is usually good at capitalizing on these turnovers..

Arizona has a nice schedule after Philly. Philly will put up yards and points so if you get big penalties for those it may hurt you this week. Sacks and turnovers could be big. Should even out this week but after that:4 Mia5 @StL6 Buf7 @MinNot too bad from what we've seen so far.

Yup. I'm actually putting a decent-size bid on them as I think they can be a D to ride out the rest of the season. Based on what they did to Pats IMO they are matchup proof.

Nice. Turns out I wouldn't have had to bid either, no other claims, but I was sure my buddy I was watching Pats/AZ with would make a clai,; turns out be was too busy dropping $50 on Andre Brown. To those debating on Cards, if they are out there go get them and don't look back. I've seen both games and this defense is a top 3 nfl D. Even though their division is improved its not exactly full of offensive powerhouses. Lock em in every week and be happy the practice of streaming Ds allowed the Cards to fall in your lap.

I should have stuck with the Bills last week, but went with Washington who were doing fine until they lost 2 of their best D players.

I kept the Bills rostered for this week and that's who I'm rolling with. Weeden had a good week last week, but Cincy got zero pressure on him. I expect the Bills DL to get close to him and cause some INTs and fumbles

I ended up getting the Cardinals on my waiver wire claim, but I'm having second thoughts. Someone dropped the Cowboys and the Bills are also still available.

Same with me. But, for me, it was the Eagles and Patriots that were dropped (and the Cowboys are still sitting out there, too).I'm thinking strongly about switching to the Eagles for this week and then trying to grab the Pats who have a very good schedule following this week. Or, maybe just jumping straight to the Pats.ETA: I would still probably stick with the Cardinals if I were you. I'm still not sold on the Cowboys, but I guess I'd consider the Bills.

Had Buffalo for the Swamp debacle ... held 'em for week 2 (at home), paid off nicely. As much as I loathe riding a road defense, I'm gonna ask Weedon/TRich/Little/MoMass to beat me. Like my chances.

Very torn between Buffalo and Arizona. As far as Miami is concerned, I think they're a better real football defense than fantasy defense. They haven't done much thus far with sacks or picks, but are a tough, tough defense.One thing to monitor with Buffalo is Jairus Wright's status. Sounds like he'll be a game time decision, and he's a huge ball-hawk in that secondary. That might be something that tips me towards Arizona.

One guy in here mentioned starting the Saints defense against the Chiefs. I'm starting to think that might be a sneaky defense especially in a non yardage / pts allowed league.

I already picked up the cardinals defense but what do you guys think about starting the Saints D over the Cards D in a non yardage/pts allowed league format? I just believe the Saints in their backyard will blow the chiefs out, forcing them to pass, therefore creating turnovers. Yeah maybe I'm over thinking it. LOL.

Agreed. I could never find a way to start the Saint's D against anyone.

Look, I know, I know, I've seen every play of preseason and games 1 and 2, plus a few days of training camp live, but this is looking like a get-better game for the Saints' D.The Bills' D gave up 48 to the JETS for cryin' out loud and came back to put up 20 FF vs KC points in my league. The Falcons' DST pulled in 3 sacks, a DFR, and 2 INT's.

So your willing to say that the Saints can get better after getting blown up two weeks in a row, but the Bills can't get better after all there pieces start playing together better?

Actually I felt somewhat badly after posting this because (like me) a lot of folks come here looking for an idea what others are doing... and I truly would not want anyone to follow me over the cliff.However: I do play the defense of the week. So far I've done ok, the Seahawks did well week 1, the Bengals did well week 2, 8 and 10 points.I have been looking at the options mentioned here, and I've come back to the Saints.- Your point about the Bills is good, they did come back last week, so yes it can be done and they could do it again this week. I'm tempted on that one but I wonder if the Cleveland offense didn't look just a little better vs Cincy last week, I felt lucky to get what I did (CIN got their TD on a kick return).- My point was about KC's offense (& defense), they are the ones who have given up two straight excellent performances by opposing defenses. That seems like as good of a match-up or better than Cleveland. Admittedly the Saints' D has been fundamentally terrible in a number of ways. Home game in the Dome, in a game the Saints desperately need, maybe they get better (for what it's worth they've played two very mobile QBs and Cassell ain't that) - or the Bills on the road vs an improving Browns team. - The Philly defense (vs ARI) & the Cleveland defense (vs BUF) are pretty good too and they could do some damage as well. I hate it when I peg a defense correctly and then their offense just up and turns the ball over for a quick scoop/pick-6.Maybe if the Bills and Cards are unavailable, consider the Saints.Proceed at your own caution, I'm a risk taker in FF, sometimes these things pay off, sometimes they blow up.

Their schedule is amazing all the way up to Green Bay in Week 9. Love it.

Zona is looking great, although I remain somewhat worried by their putrid offense. Seems a bit risky to start a D whose offense can't eat up the clock. But perhaps the Cards will get better on that side of the ball.
