Why in smaller leagues, I'd think in larger leagues he'd be a better pickup since the RB pool is smaller in larger leagues.Another vote for McClain.Smaller leagues - Rudi Johnson

Well, if you are in a league where Rudi Johnson is available. I have 7 teams and he's available in 2-3 of them. Why in smaller leagues, I'd think in larger leagues he'd be a better pickup since the RB pool is smaller in larger leagues.Another vote for McClain.Smaller leagues - Rudi Johnson
Brandon Lloyd always had the talent to be a #1. The problem was mental. Now that he's back with his college coach (Ron Turner, Bears offensive coordinator), I though that this might work out well. All in all, a VERY nice trade for the Bears to go from Berrian (way to expensive, heavily overpayed by Minny) to Lloyd. I don't know how consistent he will be, but as long as Orton is locking on and trusting him he should do really well.Le'Ron McClain?I honestly can't get a bead on how the Ravens RB situation is going to shake out, but productive backs are hard to come by on the wire so why not?Edited to add:Brandon Lloyd As a 49ers fan the mere thought of the makes me what to![]()
Denver defense? Only if you don't lose points for yards against and points against. I believe they lost points in one of my leagues.Denver defense should be available.
Slaton looked decent? If 116 yards on 18 carries (6.4 ypc) and a touch is how you define decent, you must have had LT and Priest on your fantasy teams for the last six years or so.Chris Henry with Palmer and Co. maybe getting back on track?
Slaton looked decent (in the box score from here).
Rudi for sure.
All three are rostered in my 12 team, but may not be in other leagues.
I'm not sure any of them will be worth picking up.Unfortunately we won't hear anything about the QB situation in New England, especially with their bye week coming up, but it's possible that Cassell isn't the guy for the rest of the season. Not sure if that means OConnell or Gutierrez or someone from left field like Simms or Culpepper, but it's something to keep an eye on.
Haha, that was just the word I used. I assume he looked very good, but didn't get to see the game. I hate coming on here and saying, "This guy is GREAT! or This guy is AWFUL!" after one week. How did he look? Is he the starter from here on out? Is he a homerun threat? I don't know much about him other than what I read on here.Slaton looked decent? I think he was stuffed on some short yardage plays. I didn't see the game but followed on NFL.COM.Slaton looked decent? Very nice, still don't think those chicken legs hold up but nice. Showed decent power, excellent vision...
QB Sage Rosenfels
Here are Schaub's season stats: 42-70 for 390 yds, 1 TD and 5 INT for a 50.3 QB rating. Oh, the Texans are 0-3. With the way Sage played last year, I think it's just a matter of time.
Wow, the kid looks good.

Good stuff. Certainly could be coming. And when you think that Sage threw 15 TDs in 5 games, you have to like the upside as a potential waiver QB.QB Sage RosenfelsHere are Schaub's season stats: 42-70 for 390 yds, 1 TD and 5 INT for a 50.3 QB rating. i was at the game today and was very impressed with slayton. he doesn't seem to be as small up close as i thought he would.& McClain in 08He looked fantastic today against a stout Tennessee defense. He was the lone bright spot on offense for the Texans. He's the best running back I've seen in a Texans uni since Domanick Davis er Williams.
He does look good - doesn't go down easy, fast, makes quick reads. All against the Tenn defense, so this is promising. Would any of you homers be surprised if he carries the workload the rest of the way? Is he big enough? What was his track record at WVU?Wow, the kid looks good.
I always liked Sage. Seems like he's never been giving a good shot to win a starting job on a decent team.NatronIsMean said:Good stuff. Certainly could be coming. Maybe trading Schaub away wasn't such a bad idea after all...FFFanatic71 said:QB Sage RosenfelsHere are Schaub's season stats: 42-70 for 390 yds, 1 TD and 5 INT for a 50.3 QB rating. Oh, the Texans are 0-3. With the way Sage played last year, I think it's just a matter of time.

As had been anticipated earlier in the week, the National Football League formally announced on Thursday that Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Jerramy Stevens has been suspended for two games for violating the league's substance abuse policy. Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Jerramy Stevens is expected to be suspended for the first two games of the 2008 regular season as punishment for a DUI arrest and conviction during the 2007 season.5-ish Finkle said:Jerramy Stevens. May be able to get a couple sem-productive games out of him until his next inevitable suspension.
(What was this two game suspension he just served for anyway?)
