Week 4 2025 who should I start thread **OFFICIALLY UNOFFICIAL** (5 Viewers)

Chose 1 WR for 1/2 PPR.
Deebo
Juedy
M. Golden
J. Jennings
K. Coleman
Matchups please, bruh. Off the top of my head I don't know who or where Deebo or Jennings is playing or if Jeudy is at home or on the road.

I like Deebo here in general. He got three carries and three targets in a blowout win, apparently he will return the occasional kickoff which, is great if your league gives any ST TDs to the player, and McLaurin is hobbling. I consider it a neutral road matchup that the Commanders should probably win.

I can see an argument for Coleman but, it's hard to trust what the Bills will do with their WRs in general and it's tough to know what will happen when the Bills blow out an opponent. When they boat raced the Jets, Coleman saw three targets.

It gets iffy after that. Jeudy is the WR1 in Cle but 7 low quality targets doesn't excite anyone even if the opponent will roll up points on them.

The Cowboys D seems to cure all QB ills but, I'm not sure you want to gamble on something so unknown as the Packers passing game. I go with him for the upside but the downside seems huge, just like Coleman.

Not much interest in the Jennings coming off injury, Purdy coming off injury combo

Deebo>Coleman>Golden
Sorry about that! Have updated and also here.
Chose 1 WR for 1/2 PPR.
Deebo @ Atl
Juedy @ Detroit
M. Golden @ Dallas
J. Jennings vs Jax
K. Coleman vs New Orleans

Deebo

Standard scoring, 6pts all tds

Mayfield vs Eagles
or
Jones @ Rams

I lean Jones currently but not a great matchup for either

Starting Walker and Chase because I have to, final 2 flex spots, need 2 from the following

Judkins @ Lions - brutal matchup but looks to be getting the volume
T.McMillan @ Patriots - assuming he plays
D.Smith @ Bucs - so hard to predict what he might do in a given game, no consistency
BTJ @ Niners - put up with him for the first 3 weeks, just not on the same page as Lawrence
Godwin vs Eagles - assuming he logs full practice, probably too soon but my WRs are devolving into a wasteland before my eyes so i'm tempted

Close but I'd go Baker cause he's at home.

Judkins + Tet at flex cause I know they will get volume over the rest.

Thanks for the original replies to my initial question. I'm removing Chase Brown and Higgins as I now need to see some sort of spark before re-inserting them back into my lineup.

So here is my updated WDIS question. Standard scoring non-ppr league. I need to start 3 of these players:

Etienne vs SF - 7th ranked defense against the run; may have trouble finding lanes
Warren vs Min - 18th against the run but shutdown Brown last week to the tune of 3 yards
Deebo vs ATL - On the turf; If Scary Terry is out, this moves him up the rankings
Hill vs NYJ - I'm guessing sauce will follow him around? Jets defense is 25th against the pass this year

As always, thanks in advance!

Etienne
Deebo
Hill

I have Hurts and Mahommes at QB in a start 1 QB league. So far I have followed the experts rankings and started Hurts 1st 2 weeks and Mahommes last week. I am 0 for 3 in choosing the correct 1 costing me 2 wins.

Should I start Mahommes at home versus Baltimore or Hurts at Tampa Bay?

Thanks!

You start Hurts every week.

Which quarterback?

P.Mahomes vs Balt(signs of life, albeit against The Giants)

J. Love @ Dall.(matchup against the worst defense so far)

PPR:

Kyle Pitts v WAS
Oronde Gadsen @ NYG

Have Pitts in but, I think we may have seen everything he has to offer and it ain't much.
Gotta go Pitts
Penix and company need a rebound game
Chargers will be methodical and Herbert will spread the wealth against The G-Men

I'm happy to start because my teams suck.

Daniel Jones @ LAR
Bo Nix v CIN

I know Jones is an early MVP candidate (can't believe I said that with a straight face) but It's gotta be Bo, right?

Flex spot, Full PPR:
Jameson Williams v CLE
TreVeyon Henderson v CAR
JCM @ ATL

I'm tempted to believe Henderson will see more opportunities this week. He is in my lineup ATM. He won't be full time yet because, I don't believe he has all his protections on lockdown but, with all the fumbling going on with Rhamondre & Gibson they have to give him more opportunities in more obvious running situations and script a few more passes for him, right? And it should be a plus matchup at home too.
I’d go Jones over Nix. Try to block out what he did as a Giant. Lolo. Denver will be running out the clock in the 2nd half. Is cincy gonna score many points with backup QB, dismal OL, invisible Chase brown against the Den D? Jones will be in a competitive game against the rams and will be throwing and running. For the flex, no faith in jcm. Gotta see Henderson have a good game before I’d rely on him. Benching him myself. Williams by default. Lol. I know cle D is tough. Lions can put up point/stats on anyone.

Superflex league. QB passing TDs are 4 pts.

Which QB in the superflex slot?

* M. Marriota @ATL -- Gets the start with Daniels out. Always willing to run. Had a TD and 40 on the ground along with 200+ through the air. Not quite sure about ATL's D. Looked great against TB but then gave up 30 to Carolina? Also, this is a revenge game for Mariota.

or

* CJ Stroud vs TN -- Decent matchup and maybe a get right game for a struggling offense. That said, this offense has been terrible. Stroud really not a threat to run, but could see him throwing a TD or two.

Which?

THanks

D question:

* GB @DAL -- Classic great D vs. great offense although the great offense will be minus CD Lamb. Have 10 sacks on the year.

or

* BUF D vs NO -- And this is the classic mediocre D against a somewhat lousy offense. BUF favored by 16 at home. Rattler has actually done a good job of getting the ball out of his hands and limiting mistakes. BUF D at times has looked vulnerable. Is this a game where BUF looks ahead and let's a lousy team stick around? Or does an indoor team show up in Buffalo and the wheels come off completely?

Which?

Thanks

PPR need 2RB 1TE 1FLX

Warren vs MIN
C Brown @ DEN
Pollard @ HOU
D Adams vs IND
K Allen @ NYG
Warren @ LAR
Ferguson vs GB

.5 PPR. 1 QB 1 WR 1 FLX

Goff vs CLV
Purdy vs JAX
K Allen @ NYG
D Adams vs IND
G Pickens vs GB
Olave @ BUF

Another D question.

* Buffalo vs NO -- Ditto everything I said in the last post.

or

* DET vs CLE -- Flacco has been protecting the ball well. CLE offense is nothing to be terrified about, but their D is so good that opposing teams haven't been able to run away from them and then pin their ears back. That said, the DET D sacked L. Jackson 7 TIMES last week. That's more sacks than BUF D has all year.

Which?

THanks

J. Love @ Dall.(matchup against the worst defense so far)
I really want to say Love here but, I can't. Baltimore puts up mad points and the Chiefs can't run. The Ravens defense is bottom of the NFL ATM, playing the Lions and Bills in the first three weeks can have that effect. They may be better than their numbers but it looks like Nnamdi Madubuike is going to miss this game and probably Kyle Van Noy too.

Love has been okay but, it really looks like the Packers are content to play ball control and defense, they average 26 passes per game.

Love is a fine start, 200+ yards and 1.75 TD with some upside but, Mahomes is the Chiefs offense.

Mahomes>Love

I think they are both good options but I think I lean to Mariota and his mobility. Stroud just looks like he has regressed a bunch. They should beat Tennessee and, they will probably need to do it through the air but, I just don't trust this offense.

Mariota>Stroud

I'll take any defense playing the Saints and never regret that decision.

I bench Brown. I mean, how can you not at this point?

Warren>Pollard>Brown

Flex is Adams or Allen. I kind of like the way Allen is getting such consistent usage and it seems clear that he is the guy Herbert looks for in clutch situations. His GL usage is also great. Adams is a fine choice but, you never know when a 15 target Puca game is going to happen.

Allen>Davante

TE for me is Ferguson and it's not close. His usage is out of this world ATM. You may be chasing but, I don't think so.

Ferguson>Warren
=================================

Goff by a mile. The Niners are banged up all to heck and the Lions put up as many points as anyone. Tough matchup, yadda, yadda, yadda the Lions are for real

Goff>Purdy

Allen & Davante for my WR+Flex.

I'm not a big Pickens fan, he'll play well but, I listen when Tomlin cuts bait on a promising WR. Besides, it's a tough matchup. Olave is great in PPR but his upside seems kinda limited.

Allen>Davante>Olave>Pickens

Same answer.

BUF>DET

6 Point passing TD

Drake Maye home vs Panthers
Dak Prescott home vs Packers
Brock Purdy home vs Jaguars

I'd rather not pick Purdy unless it's a slam dunk that he's the pick - he is currently in an IR spot, so to start him I have to activate him first, which means I would have to drop somebody. Currently leaning to Drake Maye.

I have no problem with Maye or Prescott over Purdy this week. The Jaguars play ugly football and the Niners are a M*A*S*H* unit ATM.

It's tough to figure the GB @ Dal game this week after GB's disappointing outing last week and all the Michah Parsons stuff. For that reason I think I would just go with the better matchup. Nothing wrong with Dak, he'll probably do just fine (250 & 2) but, it's just difficult to savvy.

Maye>Dak>Purdy

XWorthy vs. Baltimore
THenderson vs. Carolina
JCM @ Atlanta

.5PPR .. Please Pick 1?
I am leaning Henderson here with the hope the Pats can control this game enough to give them the option to give him an extended look.

I am not keen on Worthy but, it's a great matchup and Mahomes must be thrilled to have him back

JCM is in a full timeshare and has been dinged up.

It's super close and, I could easily pivot.

Henderson>Worthy>JCM

I don’t feel good about Dak without Ceedee. I would hit the waiver and look for Geno, Jones, Stafford before playing Dak.

Purdy is maybe fine. But first game back. Missing weapons.

Give me Maye.

I’m going Detroit and the sacks. If they can get Lamar that many times, they should get Flacco plenty of times

Top one:
RB: Warren and Pollard

Flex: Adams if he goes

Bottom
QB: Purdy
WR: Adams
Flex: Allen

Coin flip. When I have one of these, I break the tie based on my opponent’s lineup. If the opponent has Sutton, I go Nix. If he has Warren or Pittman, I go Jones.

Before you say "Are you in a negative 2 team league with a buncha 8 y/o's broseph lol" just know . . . it's dynasty.

Which 2 out of this trio:

Jefferson "@" PIT (Ireland)
Chase @ DEN
Judkins @ DET

Depends on your scoring system
Points for sacks,INT's and fumble recoveries I presume
What about for points allowed?
I have Buffalo ranked a whisker ahead of Detroit

Still an edge for Buffalo for me

1/2 PPR small favorite
X Worthy vs Bal
D Mooney vs Was

PPR decent favorite
J Meyers vs Chi
C Olave at Buf

Mooney and Olave have been fed somewhat empty targets. Currently have those 2 in but I am not sure.

Standard Scoring (no ppr)
Start 3 Rb bench one
Jeanty vs Bears
Jacobs @ Cowboys
Judkins @ Lions
Warren vs Vikings in Dublin presuming Warren is healthy enough to play.

Thanks in advance.

Non-ppr

T Higgins @ Den
Harvey vs Cin
Kirk @ Ten
Mooney vs Was
Worthy vs Bal

Need 2

Thx
I want to say Harvey but, I can't trust he's going to get usage unless the Broncos are cruising. That could certainly happen but, that's not a reliable bet IMO. Similar feelings for Tee ATM. Can't trust that Browning will come off his first read to Ja'Marr often enough to get Tee big usage.

I like what Kirk did last week. One data point isn't much to go on but it's a good data point.

Ditto Mooney. They are the potential volume guys.

However, in your situation I would strongly consider Worthy. I don't like the idea of him being a decoy but, Baltimore can put up so many points and the Chiefs struggle to run, you have to imagine Mahomes will be passing a bunch and he has to be looking forward to having Worthy back.

I would flip a coin between Mooney & Kirk and go with

Worthy>Mooney/Kirk
