Week 4 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

"Michael Vick has a rib cartilage injury," Reid said at his press conference today. "There are no broken bones, but he does have a rib cartilage injury. It's up high in the second and third ribs. LeSean McCoy has a rib fracture and they're doing some further tests on that but right now he has one rib fracture."

Reid couldn't confirm a time frame for Vick's return, other than, "We'll just see how he feels."

Reid also confirmed that receiver Riley Cooper and cornerback Asante Samuel suffered concussions, but he didn't seem to expect either player to miss much time.

Ahmad Bradshaw was seen in the Giants' locker room Monday "limping badly" after playing through an ankle sprain in Week 4.

Bradshaw was in and out of the lineup in the second half Sunday night. He did close out the contest, but this is a reminder that Bradshaw isn't an especially good bet to hold up for 16 games. He's probably headed for some practice time off this week. The Giants face the run-tough Texans in Week 5.

McFadden says hamstring 'all right': Raiders RB Darren McFadden said his right hamstring, which he injured in the fourth quarter Sunday in Week 4 against Houston, was doing “all right” Monday, but he was walking with an obvious limp in the locker room. When he pulled a hamstring in training camp, he missed two preseason games.

Cutler is practicing.

For what its worth, he usually speaks to the media on Wednesdays but will not be speaking today.

ETD: Bears officially list QB Jay Cutler as limited in practice today.

Lovie Smith says that Jay Cutler still has to be cleared by an independent doctor before he is allowed to play Sunday
