Tashard Choice (Spiller to get med tests on shoulder and FJax's Week 4 status questionable)

AZ D/ST if it's still on the waiver wire

TY Hilton (4-113-1 on 8 targets today and Collie's return didn't last long)

Armon Binns (only 3 targets today but caught all 3 and scored a TD with @Jax, Mia, @Cle upcoming)

Jerome Simpson (edited to add Simpson -- coming off suspension and the MN offense is looking good plus ok upcoming schedule --@DET, TEN, @WASH)

Who else?

Hawkins if he's still out there. And dare I say Fitzpatrick...
Hawkins didn't make it to this week in my 3 leagues. Same with Fitz. Both are rostered in all my leagues.Choice I think would be a spot start depending on FJax's and Spiller's status. And that may be only as a flex (NE, @SF, @AZ). Still worth keeping an eye on, especially for those hurting at RB. AZ showed that NE can be beat, as did Minn. with SF. Edited to add that the Ravens ran well on NE.

How much was Hilton used? I premptively picked hm up this week then dropped him. Was he used on returns?

Also I'm sure some quality QBs will be on the wire.

Dalton

Ponder

Locker

I know locker was cut on one of my leagues and Ponder and Dalton were available until I grabbed Dalton anticipating big week vs Skins secondary. :backpat:

Brandon Stokley. Getting some soft coverage, and Peyton doesn't look totally dead.

Bilal Powell? Greene looked horrible again.

Grabbed Powell last week and glad I did so because I imagine others will go for him this week. Had more yards on half the carries. Got 12 touches to Greene's 19...a pretty nice spike in touches for Powell. Cmon Rex it's Powell time!!

I think this might be the perfect week to stay away from waivers in order to save up or move up the order.

No Andre Brown, Pitta, or Bennett this week (at least so far).

looks likeim dropping Kevin smith for Bennett this week. Graham has a bye week coming.

Some people may have cut bait on Ryan Williams...
I know an idiot in my league that did, it was me.
Somebody dropped him in my league as well. Is Williams or Wells the Cardinal running back to own going forward?
"Going forward" ain't what it used to be. He got the large half of the split and did considerably more with it plus Beanie is nursing a bad knee. The play Miami next week which should be a tough gig. I would not pull out the stops trying to get him.

Was reading Beanie might have turf toe.....where do you rank Williams with the Miami back ups if Bush is our for awhile?

Wishing that I picked up Powell each of the last 2 weeks when I kept telling myself to.

He's going to be a hot commodity this week for those that have been paying attention to that running game.

Maybe Kevin Kolb vs. Miami for the first set of Bye weeks.

Binns is not the product of Binns or even Cincy, he was the product of two things - 1) Washington defense sucks and 2) Washington defense sucks So next up for the Skins is the Bucs. That means you start looking at who might take on Washington's 3rd or 4th corner. Arrelious Benn? Dallas Clark?
Totally disagree, I've watched him the last two weeks pretty closely and I'm not going to try and predict the amount of targets he will get, but I will say he's a talented WR who is only going to get better as the season goes on. He is the best bet to be a consistent #2 in this offense IMO, with Hawkins running a close second. Binns is the better WR of the two, although Hawkins is more dangerous with the ball in his hands.

I am on the Powell train!
He's not really that good, saw him in the flesh today. He is better though than Greene.
Big Jets fan here! Recommendation: STAY AWAY FROM THE JETS RUNNING GAME! The offense is pretty bad. Not many sustained drives. And more importantly, Powell is not much better than Greene anyway. You are wasting your time.
I agree he's not great but you can still use him as trade bait to greene owner or other rb thin owner. I picked him up knowing that he'd likely never see a start on my team.

Agree here. Players go from unrosterable to rosterable.

The next step is untradeable to tradeable,

followed by unstartable to startable.

If Powell, can be used as a trading chip then so much the better. Depends on cost, roster size, etc.

Who is the better pick up if Bush is down for a while - Miller or Thomas?
Tough call. Thomas fumbled in the third, and got around 4 carries to Miller's 9 the rest of regulation. Miller looked quicker and more agile in my opinion - but Thomas was back when the game was on the line in OT. I was hopeful that Miller showed enough to take the lead in a RBBC with Bush down, but that they went back to Thomas is OT tells the story for now.

Based on fbg waiver report advice, of course. I am noticing that they are way too quick to dismiss players. Especially rbs in a season where there are so few quality ones available. Def grab Ryan Williams if he is on your wire. He has serious talent an can develop into a nice flex option over the course of the season. If he doesn't it was still worth the gamble with a bench spot. How bout this one: Jamie Harper, javon ringer, or Darius Reynard. ONE of these guys is going to supplant CJwaiverwireK soon. There is no way that munchak can let these types of performances continue. He HAS to give some o his other backs a chance to see if its the line or CJ's fault. I know the line sucks but something tells me that any 3 of those rbs would avg over 3ypc given CJ's workload. Which doubles CJ's output. Sadly....

me too :hot:
Me three. But I'm stubbornly refusing to regret it yet. I'd certainly rather have Alf, or Andre Brown, or one of the other hot waiver wire guys who people were dropping him for. And at this point, I'd still might rather Choice than him. I'm just not able to trust anything Zona does on offense yet. Their D gift-wrapped the game, and even with that Williams didn't get a ton of work.

As a CJohnson owner I'm starting to think about this. Who is the backup though? Tough to believe TEN can last 8 games with CJ averaging 1.36 yds/carry. Harper or Ringer have to start getting carries eventually.
