Normal viking .. have a team on 3rd and forever and you rush 3 or 4 and drop back into coverage. Like clock work the other team completes a deep pass.. Luckily for the Vikings he ran a 1 yard short route. And of course the Saints convert on 4th down.

Some day Vikes, Maybe, if I'm Lucky, you'll learn that 3rd and forever means bring the blitz!!

They do seem terrible so far this year. At least a couple of games(that I have seen) with an outcome affected by terrible calls.Obviously the Denver/San Diego game and I think the Titans/Ravens game yesterday with the ridiculous roughing the passer call that extended the drive and ended with a TD.

Seriously 1st down is usually a running down. NO def is 8 in the box sometimes 9. This would seem ripe for a PLAY ACTION PASS. They have to get the D of the line in order to run effectively!

I stand by my comments of earlier. The Aints can have 2 more fumbles, 2 more Picks, and 10 more penalties. If AD isn't running the ball in the second half there is no way the Vikings will win this game.
