Week 6 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

Drew Bennett looks like he hurt his hand making a tackle on the last mcnair interception. he was shaking/holding it when leaving the field.

Moss was back in on the TD run by Jordan. Moss was then getting worked on by the trainers, with comments from the announcers saying Moss doesn't look "right".

SD DB Bhawoh Jue with a big stick on a Raider receiver....Jue leaves under his own power -- looked like he's favoring his arm but I'm not certain.

Kenoy Kennedy just knocked Delhomme unconscious...literally.
personal foul
it was a perfectly clean hit....but he had just begun to slide....
So what you are saying is it was a perfectly clean hit, except for the fact that it was illegal...
BS call... no way a guy can stop, Delhomme was sliding as Kennedy was hitting... Refs felt bad.
Kennedy took a number of steps after Delhomme had begun his slide...He was totally defenseless and had givenm himself up...

That is a penalty, plain and simple, hence the call...

It had nothing to do with the refs feeling sorry for Delhomme...

Was Moss in the last Oak TD drive. I saw Gabriel, Whitted and Porters names on the tracker, but no word of Moss.

You're not supposed to root for injuries, and I never will...But how many Dunn owners will be monitoring Duckett's situation *closely*.With him out, and Vick hurting...

Sounds like Delhomme will be fine -- although somebody might want to tell the boys at RotoWorld that the Panthers are off next week.Coach John Fox said after Sunday's game that Jake Delhomme's injury doesn't appear to be serious. It looks like he'll be ready to play next week. Oct. 16 - 10:44 pm et

Also, anyone know how serious KJones' rotator cuff injury is? Can we assume that he wore a brace and played, he can next week?

Any word on Kailee Wong LB HOU?
SEATTLE - Already depleted by injuries, the Houston Texans lost starting offensive guard Zach Wiegert and linebacker Kailee Wong in the first seven minutes Sunday night against Seattle.Wiegert injured his right ankle on Houston's first possession, going down on a run by Domanick Davis for zero yards with 12:04 left in the first quarter. The team said his return was questionable.

Wong injured his right knee on a 21-yard run by Seattle's Shaun Alexander. Wong was being blocked by Steve Hutchinson, who fell on the seven year veteran. The Texans said Wong wouldn't return and replaced him with DaShon Polk.

Houston free safety Jason Simmons also left after injuring his right knee.

Houston was already without starting defensive end Gary Walker and wide receiver Andre Johnson, both inactive for Sunday's game. Todd Washington replaced Wiegert at guard.

Seahawks fullback Mack Strong left the game with a chest bruise and a right shoulder stinger. He appeared to get hurt late in the first half after catching a 9-yard pass from Matt Hasselbeck. Strong was hit immediately by Houston strong safety C.C. Brown.

Strong had three catches for 20 yards in the first half, and added one carry for 16 yards.
Texans | K. Wong's Season May be OverSun, 16 Oct 2005 22:16:44 -0700

The Associated Press reports Houston Texans head coach Dom Capers said LB Kailee Wong (knee) may have suffered a season-ending torn patella tendon in his right knee during the team's Week 6 game.

And he's one of the few that's actually trying right now for Houston.Bump up your RBs against the Texans. It's going to be sick.

Rotoworld is saying Griese likely tore his ACL and is probably done for the season, but they'll know more soon.

Jets C Kevin Mawae - Torn triceps, out for the year. :hot: Per ESPN ticker on Monday Night CountdownDowngrade an already bad Jets O.

Marc Bulger hurt on an INT to June. He became blocker after the INT and was hit. He turned his right shoulder to the blocker and was hit on his shoulder and spun around and landed on that same shoulder. Said he was reaching for his Collarbone.

:X OMG I'm sick.

He wasn't walking like someone with a broken collarbone. Usually a guy with a broken collarbone has that gangly "Oh my God everything I do hurts" walk and keeps moving his arms into bizzarro poses in an effort to make it stop hurting.
