Week 6 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

Every team I play has a player that has sucked all year go off. Marvin Harrison has more than doubled his production from his best game in this first half. In fact he has more than matched his productoin on the year.

ADP - You do realize you are playing against the Lions, right? *edit3* - two fumbles? jeebus.

Schaub - Lets go ahead and focus on throwing primarily to your own team, ok? *edit* A TD? Good for you, and to your teammate even. Stellar.

Calvin Johnson - What the hell? *edit* I see you just scored. Disregard my anger.

Me - Next time you think of making a last minute lineup change, dont.

Spent way too much time this morning trying to decide who to start - Meachem or Ginn. Could I possibly find a worse way to spend my time?

Went with Meachem, BTW.

Owen Daniels in non-PPR.

Just enough points to keep me from dropping him---but never in the endzone.

Which makes me just :tinfoilhat:

Looked at several replacements for big berries Winslow...looked at LJ Smith, Alex Smith, Vernon Davis, John Karlson, Ben Watson...settled on Dusting 0 points Keller.

I just had to switch out Jones-Drew for SJax at the last minute, way to over think things.. don't sit your studs, they say.. :kicksrock:

JTO against Philly D and Akers. In the fourth quarter:

Sack and Fumble: 5 pt swing

Int then FG: 7 pt swing

Int for TD: 11 pt swing

23 POINT SWING IN ABOUT 8 MINS OF PLAYING TIME.

I'm now down 80-62 with Gates and Welker v. Burress.

THANK YOU J.T. "UH OH" SULLIVAN

Sat Calvin for Bobby Engram because of the kitna/orlovsky mess....didn't change it back in time after finding out frye was named the starter. translation: 0 pts for WR2

My team of (points in parenthesis) McNabb (17), Turner (5), F. Taylor (1), S. Moss (4), T. Holt (7), Fasano (2), Prater (5), and the NY Giants D is going to lose to a lineup of Warner (13), R. Brown (18), McClain (-1), Driver (11), Stokley (11), Shiancoe (2), Folk (6), and San Diego D. Yikes. Didn't really see that coming.

2 weeks ago traded Coles and he scored 3 TDs, last week traded DeAngelo and he scored 3 TDs, this week traded TJones and he scored 3 TDs. Its not like these guys are studs. What are the ****ing odds?

Let me know if you trade anyone this week. If I have them on my team I will make sure to start them. :sarcasm:

No offense, but why didn't you play both? This was the matchup you were waiting for all year for MoJo.
I also had Forte and liked his match-up too much to sit him. I need to learn to just stick with my first instincts. I wasn't planning on Taylor getting hurt, thus letting MJD get much more action than usual.

Starters - points

B. Jacobs - ?

S. Moss - 2

J. Cotchery - 8

B. Watson - 0

Washington - 7

Bench - points

M.J. Drew - 26

A. Johnson - 21

R. White - 17

J. Carlson - 8

J.E.T.S. - 12

Ugg... I've always thought I was the worst ff player alive at picking weekly plays but this is a new low.

note to self: Never ever playing in a win/loss only league. And to boot, this league, total points are not the first criteria for making playoffs for wild cards. I'm 3-3, and I will have 2nd most points again this week and overall.

Aaargh, I'm playing against a team that hasn't set a lineup since week 1 and going to lose handily. Unless Jacobs outscores Braylon by 40+, I'm done.

Favre < 10

Jacobs

Turner <10

TO <10

Marshall <10

Cotchery <10

Zach <10

Ronnie Brown - WOOHOO 15

Vinitieri <10

Redskins <10

On the bench - Colston, Westbrook

:blackdot: I thought this team was going to be a walk in the park to the championship. This loss will eliminate me from any hope of a playoff berth.

Dear Arizona Defense,

Learn how to tackle. Especially Marion Barber. Thanks for losing my game.

Yeah, I know. PTTS
I was going against Barber and Folk....and neither of them looked like they were going to do much until the end of the game.I was up by 5 pts when Barber went 70 yards, that was a quick 14 points for him....Whoever that guy is that he stiff armed on the sideline should be benched. The tackling was JV. So then Folk kicks the EP and I'm down 10. So later Folk lines up for a 52 yarder (9 pts) and Ariz blocks it, hoooray.....oh no, Wisenhunt called a timeout. Folk bangs the next attempt through for 9 points and I am down by 19. Barber sneaks two more points in and I am down 21 after being up with less than 5 minutes to go. BARF!

I f'n hate this game sometimes. Jacobs and the NYG kicker left, he's got Plax. #*#(*$&.

Every week I love reading this thread, when you are bored or need a chuckle this thread does it for me every time.

Sorry guys

I dropped Dominic Rhodes on Thursday since he was sitting on my bench and picked up Leon Washington cause it appeared he might start. I didn't even play Washington and Joseph Addai gets hurt and I'll never be able to pickup Rhodes again.

Did I say I was already weak at RB?

:goodposting:

I'm 5-0 and playing against the highest scoring team who's 4-1. We have a close game going. Last night I had LT and he had Phillip Rivers. League scores 6 points for ALL touchdowns (run, pass, and catch).

I'm watching the game and with 7:17 left and the Chargers are up by 14. Rivers throws a pass to Vincent Jackson and the Pats are called for Pass Interference in the end zone. I tell my son, that's perfect, now they'll hand off to LT and he'll get the touchdown instead of Rivers.

So what do the Chargers do on first and goal from the one? Throw a touchdown pass so instead of me getting 6 points from LT, my opponent gets 6 points for Rivers. That's a 12 point swing. My team is done at 79 while he has 78 with Plaxico going tonight.

I would of felt a whole lot better with an 13 point lead instead of 1.

Started Santana Moss and Randy Moss...Sat Bernard Berrian in a PPR league.

total of 2 started WR's = 9 points.

on bench WR = 18 points.

WTF. Randy is gonna get dropped. Santana is gonna get dropped. Unfortunatly then i only have 1 receiver to start and there are none on the waiver wire because it is a 20 man per roster league and the next available to pickup is like WR60 not worth my time. And as i picked this team up after week 2 and the previous owner traded away all the draft picks for next year i have no bargaining power.

bah. no chance. I had the leagues highest scoring team with in reach to beat. I had Randy Moss and Jamal Lewis left, he had LT and Plaxico and I had a 9 point lead going into last night. Now i am down by 11 with Jamal left and he has Plaxico. If randy could have caught that pass at the end of the game in the end zone i could have had a chance. He is a blankin chump who didnt appear to be trying at all last night. And has santana played in the last two weeks? 4 points in 2 weeks...come on!!

I'm not going to vent about my undefeated team's extremely poor performance this weekend.

i have rostered 4 handcuff type players all season. i drafted Addai with my first pick. Rhodes isn't on my bench. :coffee:

Romo. Both leagues. Edwards as backup...in both leagues.

At least in one league I am sitting at 6-0, the other league I fell to 4-2 and also have to deal with Addai, Colston, Calvin Johnson and Kellen Winslow as my other "studs" on the roster. Not to mention next week I face the division leader with me having MJD on bye...looks like 4-3 heading my way.

And there's the loss, 85 to 73. With an LT touchdown it would have been a tie.
