Check to see if Diontae Johnson was dropped in any of your leagues (he was in my 14-teamer). He's on bye this week but is scheduled to come off IR in Week 7.

Chicago RB situation is tricky. I think Roschon is the guy to own for as long as Herbert is out, but as someone who may need to spot start a replacement this week, I'm reluctant to burn a waiver priority without knowing if he's going to clear the concussion protocol in time.

Similar deal with Miami, although in that case I think it's pretty unlikely Wilson plays this week (and if he does, they'll probably ease him back in the way they did with Achane in Week 2). But if your time horizon is the next few weeks, he's a good pickup

I have no facts to back it up, but when I watch KC, Rice seems to be the second most guy (to Kelce) that Mahomes trusts out on the field. I dropped him a couple of weeks ago and I've regretted it ever since.

I'm helping my 8-year-old co-manage a team in a league that's all kids plus my dad. This week we face each other, and we just dropped Nico for Addison. So he literally did step over his grandfather to get Addison

Picking up Osborn reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Homer is away and tells Bart, "You're the man of the house. Lisa I'm promoting you to boy." Yes, he'll probably get more targets. But we've seen Osborn as the WR2 in this offense, and he's never been a viable fantasy starter.

If deep bench league, I'd plan on holding onto Foreman a few weeks if nothing catches your eye.
Mecole Hardman soon, when idk but I think these two are ripe to be moved at the trade deadline.
Sirius host said he thinks these swaps of a 6th for a 7th will become the norm and I buy that thinking. The mentality of dumping a guy versus trading is way different and almost nothing is involved so the GM can save some face if necessary.

His snap count actually went down this week. That said, I heard today he’s being targeting on 34.2% of his routes. Only Tyreek Hill is being targeted on a higher % of routes run.

I’m going to ignore Reid’s tendency to be slow with rookies because he’s been getting targeted right from the start, has the most prototypical size out of the WRs, and none of these other guys have simply grabbed the job. Skyy - running with the ones all summer, chatter of being ready to step up a level…. Has just done nothing. Toney being Toney.

I can't think of a situation where I'd be gutsy enough to start him in a regular league, but Brandon Powell from MIN flashed some speed when JJ went down.

I'm really hoping his yardage props will be low enough to put the hammer down on Draft Kings . I think this guy puts up 4/50 without breaking a sweat, with room for more due to his speed (and playing the Bears D doesn't hurt).

Not that I disagree, but he's only 26 and we've mostly seen him alongside JJ and Thielen. Tough for a 3rd wheel to do much.

I'm not going hard in the paint but competing with Addison and Hock is a very different scenario.

This will be the 1st game JJ's ever missed as a pro, right? Hard to have any idea what to expect.

We don't know it for sure. We know in limited carries Ingram hasn't set the world on fire. I don't think he's all that and a bag of chips. But others do. Waldman likes him and always has. Always makes sure to mention him, so you'll probably get FBG leaning towards Ingram.

More importantly, we know the coaches had him as #2 before he went down. I'd assume he at least gets first crack when healthy. All I'm saying is to think about that when you're choosing to spend your FAAB dollars on Demercado. We don't know if he'll even take over that RB1 position.

AZ just signed Tony Jones off of the NO practice squad, so he's one to watch out for also. They must have had their eye on him and wanted him.

All this is to say caveat emptor when it comes to Emari. I hope he takes the job. I think he should take the job. But will he actually take the job? That's the rub.

This is regarding Emari Demercado of the Cardinals. He should be the primary back for as long as James Conner is out. The estimate now is that Conner is week to week. We hope for more clarity by the time we have to bid, but Arizona signed Tony Jones on Monday so it seems that’s an indicator that Conner is out indefinitely. That also muddies Demarcado’s role to the point I think caution is warranted. He’s a 24-year-old rookie. He looked okay but was heavily involved and the Cardinals only dressed two backs, so the floor is high. He had a practice squad grade in the draft season. I’d only bid between 20-30%. I’m generally aggressive but this doesn’t seem likely to be a season-long role.

In a league I've needed help @RB, Jerome Ford & Roshon Johnson were both dropped this past weekend. Add in Emari Demercado & I'm hopeful to land at least of them. George Pickens was also dropped this past week. lol... To add I'm dropping Marvin Mims, but my claim is 10th. No doubt he'll become relevant at some point. Demercado, at the time of this post, has already been added in over 53,000 leagues @NFL.com. Even there, he's still rostered in only 0.2% of leagues. Not that it matters but a daunting comparable would be week 2, when Puka Nacua went from being rostered in 0.9% of leagues to over 82%!!! Ha-ha..they don't even show the figure, Puka was added in millions or 10s of millions of leagues? Something very similar occurred with Jerome Ford between weeks 2 & 3. Have bumped Demercado to 2nd in my priority.

I would not trust these league statistics. Plus, only a small percentage of people into FF are anywhere as serious as average member of a forum like this so the roster management decisions of this great body of leagues is mostly irrelevant anyway.

London and Pitts are having problems producing in that offense, not sure how Jefferson would have any value whatsoever. He probably doesn't even see the field over Mack Hollins, who is a tremendous blocker for that offense, and they seem to run a lot of 12-personnel.

A cluster for sure. Without Ingram last week, it's hard to gauge whether he would have been the guy, or at least involved. The question is whether Demercado did enough for Gannon to make him the primary guy while Conner is out. The other angle is what if Conner's injury is worse than a 4 week one and/or the team starts to look towards next year and wants wants to take a longer look at one or both of Demercado/Ingram.

Don't want to be too aggressive on bidding, but there's also a FOMO on a potential starter the rest of this year (and maybe beyond) if one of these guys hits.
