Week 7 Bragging Thread (1 Viewer)

I picked up Murray and Ponder this morning before kickoff. Started both! :excited:

Also had the opportunity to put A. Gates back into my lineup. I just may be able to right this ship!

Wish I had someone to brag about, guess I'll just go back to the venting thread, where I'm better known. Got Torrey Smith goin tommorow, maybe I'll be back but probably not.

I know it isn't a shark-approved strategy to take a QB early. But I'm loving having picked Brees in the late 2nd round (I was torn between him and VJax). Needed a good game tonight to come from behind in my matchup. He got it in the 1st quarter. I  you, Drew Brees!

Benched Murray for D. Thomas. I was down 61 points going into tonight's game with Brees, NO D, Cundiff, Ray Rice left. So far I've made up 60 of the 61 points.

Avoided the injury explosion this week. I think that's worth bragging about this week.

And may have some benefactors of some of these injuries (Pierre Thomas, Moreno, Fred Davis?) waiting to contribute.

Drafted Jimmy Graham in the 10th round and is reaping the rewards but also picked up and started DeMarco Murray this week. Hopefully I have a true gem in Murray for the rest of the year.

My top three performers this week were all players I picked off the waiver wire of acquired this week.

1. Demarco Murray (Gave up Jacoby Ford to get him this week, when Jones went down)

2. Cleveland Browns Defense

3. Neil Rackers

In the worst week of my season, where I scored my lowest total because of bye weeks, I somehow ended up winning by 4 points. As long as a scoring correction doesn't screw me over, I have this one covered as both of us are done for the week.

The best part is that this was a week where I just decided to take the loss because I had so many of my top players on bye or in a bad situation (Fred Jackson and Lesean McCoy on bye, VJax vs. Revis, etc.)

Miracle week for me vs my main enemy... check out this stinker of a team I fielded (due to byes)

whitehurst - zero points

vjax - 1 point

damian williams - hurt, 0 points

hines ward - hurt 2 points

foster

lynch - didnt even start (so pissed about this)

finley

damaryius thomas

kasay

Dallas D

and I won somehow against this:

romo

austin

garcon

james jones

fred davis

torain

bryant

DET D

We both had Bye/injury issues, but his were nowhere near as bad... I basically was SAVED by a pure footballing miracle. SO happy today!

Big Ben, Matt Forte, DeMarco Murray :excited: , Antonio Gates, John Kasay

Even Jared Cook and Antonio Brown contributed. Best offensive week of the season for my team, and I've still got Anquan Boldin tonight.

PPR league. Had FJax and McCoy on the bench

- Stafford and Vincent Jackson

- Started Murray

- Picked up and started Browns defense with Bengals on bye

- Brandon Marshall went to OT

- Starks running out the clock got like 5 more points

Won by 2.5 points.

My IDP's are kicking ###.

Jared Allen, Desmond Bishop, Curtis Lofton & George Wilson have me in first place. And my offensive team just sucks, yet I'm at 6-1.
