Week 7 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

Tough deciding between Westbrook or Kevin Jones. Considered possibly starting both and sitting LT. Just couldn't do it. Now LT has -1.5 points after the first quarter.

Started Leinart over Vick and Jennings over Branch. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: I'm so damn sick of Vick srewing me this year. I start him last week and he couldn't even hold on to the damn ball.

You may not hit the home run with LT every single week, but I don't see how you can sit him against anyone. He still has plenty of time to rack up the #s.

I agree. That's why he stayed in. I'm just venting over the early results.

Rayner nails a 55 yarder (worth 5 pts in my league), but the play was blown dead. Move it up and try again. Then he nails a 40 yarder but it's gets called back due to facemask. 10 sec runoff and the half is over. NO FG FOR YOU!

LaDainian Tomlinson 37 yard TD pass from Philip Rivers (Nate Kaeding extra point is GOOD)I feel better about that now. So I'll change my vent to.... facing the Larry Johnson owner.

My opponent has the following players:

Rothlisberger - 25 fantasy pts

Westbrook- 27 fantasy pts

Hines Ward- 32 fantasy pts

Reggie Brown- 13 fantasy pts

97 points with only 4 players....................he still has Tiki to go...............

Same rule applied with starting Pennington over Vick. I just figured the Steelers would contain him. Who would have thought Vick would have four passing TDs, and the game is not over yet! :wall: Parker didn't do much for me...Kasay's 2 extra points and zero field goals is not good since I have him in all my leagues!
 
In one league due to bye weeks I had to start either Damon Huard or J.P. Losman. I went back and forth, back and forth. Guess who I chose. :bag:

Meanwhile my opponent has McNabb and Westbrook and Ward.

At least I have Gates and Ronde Barber on my team!

 
No notification via email on Jordan? Suited up, but not expected to play. I usually have nothing but good things to say about FBG's service, but somebody on the staff fell asleep on this one. And it might cost me a win this week. :rant:

 
Well, my hitherto undefeated season came to a crashing halt today, thanks to Hines Ward. Ironically, I declined to keep him prior to the season for salary reasons. The rest of my league is having a wonderful time with this situation today.

I have found that venting early sometimes turns my players around to make me look bad...

Matt Leinart and Boldin both! Need a Big game! (figured Leinart against Oakland would be safer than Vick against the Steel Curtain!) :wall: and Leinart could put up more points than Delhomme! :banned:

Hey, I tried that earlier with LT and it worked out OK. So... I STARTED FRIGGIN' LEINART OVER DELOHOMME!!!! :hot: :fingerscrossed:

An hour prior to game time I trade Isaac Bruce and Rod Smith for Hines Ward. However I have to wait for trade approval to use Ward. Game time approaches, no word so I start Lee Evans.

Here is the funny part of the story, the commissioner also put in a trade this morning at the same time. Lo and behold he uses the acquired player in his lineup, yet I was unable to use Ward...and the trades were turned in at the same time.

Needless to say, if I lose I will be pissed...but with the way this season is going it is a likely occurrence.

3 weeks ago I benched Moss and he went off, this week I am stuck watching Ward go off without being able to use him in my lineup.

I submitted my lineup in one of my leagues on MFL. For some reason it did not take so it kept my team I had last week. So I had multiple players on bye.

I would have easily one with the lineup I submitted but now Im going to be 3-4.

On 1st & Goal from the 1, Cincy fakes the hand off to Rudi (who I own) and pass a TD to TJ (who Im going against). 12 pt swing that'll probably cost me the game. :wall:

That sucks but what does that have to do with fantasy football? Doesnt it have to do with MFL?

no I'm just having a down year in 2 of my 3 leagues.it is looking like I will be 0-7 in the first year of the :e: dynasty league. I could have won 4 of the games but made the wrong roster moves and lost :bag:
