Week 7 WR Sleepers (1 Viewer)

With the bye weeks, a lot of people are digging deep. Who are you keying in on as sleepers this week?

I'm thinking Davone Bess may be a sneaky plug-in this week against the ailing Broncos. He hasn't shown much chemistry with Moore so far but that was against the Jets and Chargers.

Others that look fairly intriguing are:

Sanzenbacher v. TB (redzone)

Massaquoi v. SEA (Trufant out for season)

Of course Damian Wiliams and Demaryius Thomas who are being hyped up and probably not available in most leagues at this point.

I like Early Doucet. Not doing bad in PPR leagues and seems to have trounced Andre Roberts so far.

Also like the Damian Williams call.

Agree with the Damian Williams and Doucet calls. Here are a few others I like this week:

Doug Baldwin - Already has a good rapport with Whitehurst and Rice should be shadowed by Haden if he plays.

Nate Burleson - Got back in the mix last week and the Falcons have pass defense issues.

Kevin Walter - He's done well as the No. 1 WR replacing Andre and should see plenty of targets again this week.

Malcom Floyd - With VJax and Gates playing, Floyd could be the guy the Jets aren't as concerned about.

Jacoby Ford - If the Raiders take some shots downfield, Ford could be the guy. His role is growing the past two games.

I like Mike X Williams up in Seattle this week. With a new QB, and he's back and healthy now, I think he's got the talent and potential to be heavily targeted this weekend.

for some reason i like Salas even more with Feeley possibly inplay. Salas would be good with Bradford but i think AJ is even more a dink and dunk passer and slot it easiest to read

i've been waiting to hear or read what the cardinals supposedly did to 'tweak' their passing game, 2weeks ago i picked up Doucet thinking after the bye Doucet would supplant Roberts(and Doucet still play slot when 3wide). Housler will likely be a much more integral part as well i imagine.

I like Breaston against the Raiders -
It is him or Burleson for me. Any thoughts on the targets increasing with Breaston? If he keeps getting 4-5 targets per game, he is going to throw up a dud eventually here. Like what he can bring to the table more than most, but he has been doing a lot with little opportunities.

Earl Bennett is back this week so Sanz will likely see fewer snaps
Make sure you check if Bennett traveled to London..I'm not sure if he didThis is the weekend Antonio Brown hits paydirt
Ugh. He will be out. Not sure if he travelled, but he practiced in full Wenesday and Thursday. They are not going to play him if he went though.

They are in our league. Not sure of Thomas with Tebows first start though.Liking Kevin Walter and he is on some WW's.

I know there has been a lot of talk about Greg Little and maybe he isn't so much of a sleeper anymore, but I really like his matchup this week.

Seattle has given up, in my league, the 6th most points to WRs this year, and Trufant is out for the year. Seattle is also tough against the run (27th most points allowed to RBs in the league) and the Browns have been terrible running the ball this year, averaging only 81 yards/game.

With Little getting a lot of attention the last couple of weeks (20 targets) and nearly getting into the EZ last week, I expect him to continue to be McCoy's go-to guy.

I would expect a similar line to what he put up last week (5-6 catches and between 60 - 100 yards with a chance for a TD).

Cross Jacoby Ford off my list since it looks like Boller's going to start now. I wouldn't go anywhere near an Oakland WR this week if I could help it.

I like Doug Baldwin if whitehurst starts. Whitehurst seemed to prefer him to Sidney rice last game.

I like Greg little for 80+ yds and a score.

I like mike Williams tb to score vs chi. He has been improving slightly last few weeks and been targeted a lot. He should bat out of his slump soon. Freeman is also playing better. I put him in over decker in my lineup.

I am taking a wait and see approach with decker, dem. Thomas, and all oak wrs due to their qb situations.

I feel that T Young and Burleson are back and forth with targets. Add Scheffler healthy again back into the mix, and you basically have a bunch of people competing with Calvin for targets (and pettigrew in red zone). On the bright side of this, Best will not play this week. I'm avoiding Burleson so that I don't rip my hair out this week.Breaston and Antonio Brown are my 2 this week.Antonio Brown - He has 39 Targets so far this season, and Wallace is hobbled with a Hamstring injury. No matter how close to 100% they claim wallace is, I'm sure that the injury is still lingering (even in the slightest). This will probably slow down his 4.2 caliber speed.Breaston - 11 Catches 196 yards and 2 TD in the past 3 weeks. Pretty good development after a couple of slow weeks getting accustomed to KC. 67% catch rate isn't half bad either.

Any thoughts on adding/playing Bernard Berrian in a deeper league? If we assume that Ponder > McNabb, this should be a boost to Harvin, Berrian and the TEs.

Brown has had at least 4 catches and 67 yards vs. weak or average pass defenses and hasn't had more than 2 catches and 23 yds vs. stronger pass defenses. This may be the week he gets to the end zone against Peterson, Jefferson, et al

Not feeling the Davone Bess call by the OP.

Matt Moore keeps forcing it to that bum Marshall.

Also not sure if I can pull the trigger on starting Bey Bey Thomas. He could be a beast but his reps will be limited due to lack of conditioning.

Harry Douglas if Jones doesn't go. I gotta think the Falcons will be passing a lot to keep up with Detroit.
Problem I have with him is he makes his living off the big play and the Lions pass rush is going to force Atlanta into hot reads, dump offs, quick decisions, and lots of love to the RB's all day. I don't trust his YAC ability enough to throw him in there in all but the most desperate situations. I have really liked this guy from day 1, but I need a reason to believe I can trust him to start before doing so.

Larry Fitzgerald has no protection Fri Oct 21, 09:53 PMArizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald believes the struggles of the offense can be attributed to the lack of a legitimate No. 2 wide receiver, as WRs Andre Roberts and Early Doucet have not filled the void left by the departure of WR Steve Breaston (Chiefs), and WR Anquan Boldin (Ravens) before him. 'Right now, teams are saying, 'Fitzgerald is over here, we're not going to let him beat us. We're going to do whatever it takes to hold him down and not allow him to do that.' In years, past, when I had 'Q', even last year with Steve, defenses approached it differently,' Fitzgerald said. 'There were times when I could find some (space). Now those times are few and far between.'---------------------------------------------------------------Not a ringing endorsement of Doucet or Roberts. Could be a means to motivate those two.

Wow. It's true, but I'm surprised he said it.Funny, I have Doucet cued up in waivers tonight and have been waffling between him and a few others...

I was surprised Fitz said something too. I hadn't had the impression that he's a highly vocal guy, especially on the Cards he's had a lot he could gripe about.

Any of the following WR might be worth a waiver flier this week:the Williamses (Damian, Roy, Mike X.)Eddie RoyalTitus YoungDerrick MasonArrelious Benn
Benn is the best of these choices for a one week start. From a long term perspetive, I'm a pretty big Benn fan, but its looking to me like he's a 2012 breakout. Briscoe is playing more and Stroghter is back; neither will supplant Benn as a starter, but with the way Freeman progresses, he's getting a lot more (and better) options underneath.

I grabbed Doucet with Welker on bye.

Also got Preston Parker and I'm considering playing him instead of Reggie Wayne.

Laurent Robinson? St. Louis 3rd worst against WR's, gave up TD's to 3 different Packers WR's last week. Rams are 2nd BEST against TE's (part of that is facing PHI and NYG before Ballard was cool, but gave up little to Dickson, Fred Davis, and Finley) so Witten may not be as productive. Only 2 targets for Laurent last week but one was in the end zone.

Steve Breaston against the Raiders - WR3

Kevin Walters against the Titans - WR3 (JJones limited in practice Friday) RCB Finnegan expected to cover Jones.

Antonio Brown against the Cardinals - High Risk/Reward WR3/4 * Super Sleeper pick
