Week 8 2025 who should I start thread **OFFICIALLY UNOFFICIAL** (5 Viewers)

Superflex league. 4 points per passing TD. Pick one:

* K. Cousins vs MIA -- Great matchup, but Bijan could just run for 200+

or

* J. Fields @Cinci -- Taylor out, Fields in. Good matchup. Maybe he can run for 100 while throwing for negative yards lol.

This is my QB2 position thankfully.

Need 3 in PPR, 0.5 points per carry

1. Isaiah Davis vs Cinci(already starting Breece
2. Allen Lazard vs Cin
3. Arian Smith vs Cin
4. Van Jefferson vs Ind
5. Dawson Knox (if Kincaid out) vs CAR
6. McNichols vs KC
7. Perine vs NYJ

There is no way I would start Fields in any scoring format.

Currently have McMillan in the spot but am debating swapping Pickens. I am also starting Denver defense if that matters.

Pickens IMO. It's just a much better offense and Surtain can't be everywhere.

Dalton might give Tet a bump but, I wouldn't rely on it and the Cowboys are the #2 scoring offense in the league.

Just based on volume, I lean Chuba. Also, I believe Penix is dinged up and, I can see this being a Bijan & Allgeier game

Rhamondre has a tough matchup but, he's at home and clearly has the full faith and confidence of the coaching staff.

I'm thinking you should see if Vince Evans and available on your WW. Maybe Jeff Hostetler?

If Cousins gets the start, I absolutely put him in over Fields. Maybe pride kicks in a d Fields puts up a monster but, unless you need a monster I wouldn't risk his downside. Even against a mid defense.

Your league is waaaaaaay too deep IMHO.

I have no idea how to parse these guys.

Knox, if Kincaid is out makes sense.

Lazard & Jefferson seem capable of big plays and that is what you have to hope for.

I wouldn't want to start two Jets so, if Kincaid plays I probably go with Perine on an offense that can score

Knox*>Lazard>Jefferson>Perine

Packers just have the much more talented defense and I think they'll only get better.

Carolina is a better matchup but, Dalton can keep them moving the ball enough that I don't rely on a big yardage disparity between them and Pittsburgh.

Please include matchups and important scoring considerations, particularly PPR, in the future

I worry that Phili will roll the Giants but, Skattebo & Dart are energizing this Giants offense. I love Swift and wouldn't blame you for starting him but

I don't love Kamara's efficiency but, with Kendre out I think he sees 20 opportunities and it's a neutral matchup.

Worthy has a nicer matchup but, I worry that he is now KC's version of Jameson Williams so, I play him when I need to gamble on a monster.

Diggs is fine but, he seems more likely to see six targets than 10+ and, it's a tough matchup.

By standard do you mean not PPR? That makes it tougher.

I still lean Wan'Dale because I think he has volume upside but, I think Diggs and, definitely, Worthy have more big play potential. With Diggs having the best combo of volume & upside.

Yeah, this one is just about your gut, I think I lean (subject to frequent change between now and kickoff)

I went with Vidal on Thursday so made the right choice there.

Now I need to play 2 of these 4 players and one of them must be a WR; standard scoring non-ppr:

Ferguson vs DEN; I'm already starting Kraft because he has the better matchup but it is National TE day and Ferguson has been on fire lately
Warren vs GB; Volume has been there but GB is tough against the run
Deebo vs KC; is back this week as well as McClaurin and Mariota
Higgins vs NYJ; Great matchup on paper

Right now I have Higgins and Warren in the lineup.

Last minute thoughts?

I went with Vidal on Thursday so made the right choice there.

Not really. I'd make the same choices. With CeeDee back Ferguson is a little less reliable and I really liked what I saw from Flacco and the Bengals last week.

Of London is out, I can see pivoting to Mooney but, IMO McLaurin is just a better football player so of London plays

Nice QB choices IMO. Flacco feels like a safer bet and he has nice upside but, Darts rushing ability is a great equalizer. This is close

Close one. They're similar QBs but Jonrw has the better matchup. I know it could turn into another JT game for Indy but, I think they're going to score more against the Titans than the Pats against the Browns.
