Probably got sick of listening to Carr whine about how he should be the starting QB & smacked him up the side of the head.I heard on the radio that he was probable- team decision.Did I just see Steve Smith's name scroll across the ESPN ticker? It usually doesn't help your causes to piss and moan about not being the starter any more. He should have kept his mouth shut or told the coach he would do whatever it took to help the team win. Bad move when he demanded a trade and complained pubilcly.Tatum Bell is inactive! K. Jones should do well today.

its sad the days have come when we all need to question everything ESPN reports.Espn just scrolled with their Carolina notes that Steve Smith is out on Coaches dec. From the conversations above, there is confusion since Giants Steve Smith is out, but ESPN def had it under Carolina. Mentioned Foster then Smith.okay, so now CBS just had a live report from the game talking about Vinnie being the QB and didn't even mention Smith. I would think it would be big enough news if he was out to mention it, so maybe its just confusion with Giants Smith
