Week 9 - Defense by Committee (1 Viewer)

For those of us using D/ST by committee this year, wondering which of the waiver wire D's would be a good start this week.

Weak Offenses

SF - playing Atlanta - don't like the Atlanta D that much

ATL - see above

STL - off this week

MIN - playing SD - not an option

NYJ - playing the Redskins - Redskins could be an option

In addition to Washington, I like Detroit. Suprisingly, this unit has 13 INT's (top in the league) and 19 sacks (7th in the NFL). Home against Denver this week, and the Bronc's don't really scare me. I could see Cutler trying to show-up the savy veteran Kitna. Could be good for a couple mistakes on the part of the young Denver QB.

In our league, over the last three weeks the following teams have had DEF's score the most on them (with this weeks opponent):STL-(BYE)SF -(ATL)WAS-(NYJ)OAK-(HOU)HOU-(OAK)AZ-(TB - Not likely available)NYJ-(WAS)MIN-(SD - Not likely available)Of these teams I like HOU. Jordan still isn't running and the HOU DE's should have no problem getting to the immobile CPEP.

That's funny...I like Oakland D this week going against Rosenfels and who knows at RB, still no Andre Johnson, plus game is in Oakland. I actually dropped Tampa D to pick up Oakland for this week's game.

I did the same. I have a feeling they could put up good numbers this week :lmao:
