The Weekend Baseball Fantasy Draft is open for entries.
The deadline for entering is midnight PST, Thursday, September 6th
Entries submitted here after midnight PST, Thursday, will not be accepted!
Rules
The weekend online baseball fantasy drafts are only open for online entries, no phone in, or mail in entries accepted.
The entry fees are $10 per entry and must be paid with a credit card online, phoned in or faxed in,
by 10 am EST, the day after the entry deadline, no exceptions.
If mailing a money order or check it must be received by us prior to the entry deadline.
No gift certificates may be used for this fantasy draft.
Entries paid for by check or money order must be received in advance of the entry deadline.
Entries for the weekend online fantasy drafts will open on Monday or Tuesday.
Please note; as these are online entries only we will not be mailing out entry forms,
due to time constraints, and there are no mailed updates, all standings and points are posted on the web site.
The Prizes
As this is an online only fantasy draft, the prizes will be based on entries submitted:
1st Place: 60% of the total entry fees received.
2nd Place: 20% of the total entry fees received.
(Example: 50 entries at $10 each is $500, thus 1st place would be $300 and 2nd place $100.)
A minimum of 20 entries must be received for a weekend fantasy draft to become active.
The prizes will be mailed out to the winners on Tuesday.
If less than the 20 required entries, no charges will be made to your credit card.
Player Selections
You select one from each of the 16 groups of 5 selections provided on the entry form.
This will be your team of 16 players you hold for the weekend.
You receive points the players on your entry earn for the dates above.
If a player gets traded after the entry form is posted, that player will receive points he scores with the new team.
Point Scoring System
[*]One point for each run.
[*]One point for each hit.
[*]One point for each rbi.
[*]Four points for each win. (each player receives 4 points for each of its team's wins.)
[*]Any postponed games from this weekend not played this weekend, will not be made up, and the players from those games would receive 0 points for that game.
[*]Any games that were postponed previous to this weekend made up this weekend will NOT be included in this weekends fantasy draft.
Online updates
All entries 16 player selections will be posted on the web site before the first game begins.
The contestant player selections will then be posted in rank order the morning after each days games,
along with the player points list.
Examples: Friday games; standings on Saturday morning, the Saturday games posted on Sunday morning and
the Sunday games on Monday morning all in rank order with each entries 16 player selections.
Tie Breakers
Ties for any prizes will be broken by applying tie breakers in the following order:
[*]Most points Group 1
[*]Most points Group 2 and so on until the ties are broken.
In the event a tie still remains, prizes for those places will be added together and divided equally.
