Weekly Waiver Wire and FAAB Discussion - Week 15 (1 Viewer)

Coker the pickup over Ricky Pearsall?

Coker plays NO, TB, SEA. All neutral matchups vs receiver per yahoo

Pearsall plays Ten, Ind, and Chi. All green. Pearsall also has sucked. Coker outscored him in week 13 alone since Ricky has come back from injury.

Think Coker is a great pickup. Picked him up last week as a stash with that schedule.

Agree that Coker is a great pickup. Also, for those in Yahoo, you can pick him up today without having to go through waivers (as long as you drop a bench player).

Question is whether I should drop Doubs. He's coming off a goose egg and GB seems absolutely set on validating the "too many mouths to feed argument". Hell, I thought Bo Melton had switched to CB because the WR room as so crowded, but there he was catching a TD yesterday.

Other drop candidates include Gadsden, Bouttie or Pearsall. My guess is that if I dropped Doubs no one would pick him up, and even if they did the odds of him coming back to haunt me are pretty slim

Just realized Luther Burden is still available in the same league (and according to Yahoo stats, only rostered in 17% of leagues). If Odunze is going to be out awhile -- last I heard he was "week to week" -- I might rate him over Coker because he has a clearer path to being his team's top target (Tet>>>>>DJ Moore)

Looking ahead to week 16 as a Tyler Warren owner (bye first round). Would you rather have Darren Waller or Greg Dulcich from the Dolphins going against the Bengals in week 16?

Id rather have warren
Who’s throwing the ball the Warren?
Himself.

Warren could certainly be a league winner these fantasy playoffs if he ends up being the QB for the colts while keeping his TE eligibility...Don't see that happening, but maybe some more goaline carries.

Im in the opposite of looking for FA at this point. Have a bye…had been able to keep Hampton and Evans on IR. Will have to move Hampton to roster this week and more needing a drop. A good problem to have. Seems have to get rid of Monangai or Montgomery (have Gibbs and Swift…Plus Judkins and Hampton). Both backup/shared rbs are a luxury.

And then there is Herbert. Been fortunate that Burrow came back right before losing Daniel Jones…now not sure i could trust Herbert again going forward

Monty has a higher floor than Monangai and I also think the Lions are going to involve him more going forward. Also, if either starter goes down I think Monty is likely to get all the work whilst Monangai will share with someone.

I would never go into the playoffs with just 1 QB unless the wire was super deep.

Deep…not sure id say deep…more just similar guys. Jackson Dart, Purdy. Herbert is a tough one as not sure how much he can keep running like he did. Meanwhile, the oline is porous and receivers aren’t getting open quick enough. I think the ride us about over with him this year (and frankly has been for several weeks not done a lot since the TN game in week 9)

How would you rank these QBs for the playoff push:

Mariotta
Shough
S. Sanders
I expect Daniels to play so definitely not Mariota. The other two are total crapshoots. I have no idea which will do better over the next few weeks, and if they're being honest, neither does anyone else on this forum. So I guess my advice is to buy a couple lottery tickets and hope one of them pays off

Have a nice playoff caliber team and freshly minted $1000 in FAAB for the next 3 weeks. Have decent RB depth and WR depth if anything were to happen.

Superflex I lost Daniel Jones and usually carry 3 QBs to be safe, but I am happy with my two starters should they stay healthy.

My glaring hole is Mark Andrews at tight end.

Fanning is out there and I’m thinking about dropping my whole $1000 on him. (Should have grabbed him last week for free but didn’t)

I think it’s time to drop the FAAB bomb and let the chips fall where they may.

I probably posted this in the wrong thread.

I am in enormous TE hell. I have played musical chairs all year in Kincaid, Fannin, Henry, Andrews and Gadsden (Literally played them on their worst weeks/stretches so eventually moved on). I sure wish I kept a couple now.

Anyways, I have Gadsden still but he is unplayable. The best remaining are:
  • Taylor vs. Jags
  • Hockenson Vs. Cowboys
  • Parkinson vs. Lions
  • Barner vs. Colts
  • Okonkwo vs. 49ers
  • Engram vs. Packers
  • Gesicki vs. Ravens
Who would you lean?

Ouch. your best bet would be Gesicki if Tee higgings does not play. Otherwise, Hockenson or Parkinson, with the former only if you want floor play.

Does anyone else get a bit thrown off every year when you get a new bank of FAAB money for the playoff run.

On one hand. You gotta win this week so way save it? Be aggressive.

On the other hand… what if I need it next week!?!

My league doesn't get playoff faab. So I've been on zero for 4 weeks now. I usually have to grab a guy I think could blow up a week or 2 ahead.

She’s nice, but I have her younger sister Elle on my dynasty squad already.
